I love this quaint mexican restaurant! It is located off of South Auburn Street in Grass Valley. We shared the enchilada combo that came with 2 enchiladas ( dollar more for carne asada) with rice and beans. It was just enough to share! It is 13.45. The wine and margarita are both 9.00 each ( a bit pricey). They also give you complimentary chips and salsa and refried beans. Love the authentic salsa..so fresh! Please note if you want more chips and salsa they will charge you. They have beer and wine only and margaritas ( wine infused). The classic margarita was refreshing. They have indoor and outdoor dining. There is plenty of parking! The staff was friendly and our server Victor was professional and friendly. The order came out quickly! It was clean inside. Although it is a relatively small place they do have additional seating on the other side of the restaurant as well as plenty of covered outdoor seating. Very relaxing and low key place. I will defintely be back!

Everything was yummy! I liked how they served refried beans with the chips and salsa. The prices were cheaper than expected too. All of the servers were attentive and friendly. We sat outside on the patio which was perfect. I'll be coming back next time I'm craving Mexican food in GV!

We ate here last Sunday. We vaguely remembered eating here a few years before, but sadly we didn't remember the food was marginal at best. My albondigas soup was the worst restaurant meal I have ever been served in my life. I grew up in a Southern California Latino neighborhood and have been regularly eating quality Mexican food for 70 years. My wife is Latina. When it was served it looked really strange. It was bright orange and that is because it was mostly carrots. Then I remembered I had ordered the same soup on the visit before and didn't think it was very good. At least the first time the meatballs were eatable. Not this time as not only were they overcooked to a crisp they were tiny, like the size of marbles. The only favor it had was from the stupid chopped-up carrots. We moved from Southern California to Grass Valley 30+ years ago and El Milagro is the only real authentic Mexican food restaurant in the area. If you love Mexican food you will love El Milagro. Besides the amazing flavor of the food the atmosphere is charming and the service is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and efficient. 5 stars .

Super yummy nachos and enchiladas suizas. You can add a protein to the nachos or just stick with the beans, your choice. Great and friendly service. Come on by! We wish we lived closer. Love the variety of their menu. Posted current menu pics here. Happy, festive decor too. GO GIANTS!

I'm submitting a review today because I always enjoy their food, service, and ambience, always delightful, special, and the experience is both home cooked and international, but also super personable (if you frequent) and very casual and fun! I simply today want to note how amazing the very certain, peaking flavors that are still tingling on my lungs, of the basil, chili chemistry, and Lao curry magjick I just experienced last Friday I cannot get off my mind, and body, today of the 4th day past! I admittedly am having an absolute sense of remorse; I am traveling to the Bay Area this upcoming weekend and will miss this Friday dinner at my FAVORITE Lao/Eastern Family Food Restaurant in the world. (I have been to Laos n Thailand, each their own, and Panoy and their family at the restaurant, deliver one of the most authentic Eastern experiences of community, food, and fun in getting to know a very slender, sliver of the magjick that lives in Gold Country California in 2026.) If you have yet to eat (and frequent, perhaps) Panoy, go directly in return or for your first time, and experience the fresh, rejuvenating invigorating palate Panoy brings to their community and extended family they share their business with. I'll be bringing my extended Bay Area friends and family there, as they visit me, home. Springing your way there w/your beloveds would be a great way to share a sense of specialty, reserve, and you'll be remembered for the great hosting in extending your family's taste, to Panoy's exquisite offerings and dishes, of the best nuance of Lao orient. Since we were in Grass Valley we headed there for lunch. The interior is woodsy and homey, with a country edge. There's a pleasant inside and a really nice outdoor patio area. We opted for indoors as it was a bit cool outside. Seated right away, we got menus, which are EXTENSTIVE, for breakfast and lunch. The omelet section alone is mind boggling. Service was quick, efficient and very friendly. These folks have it down and probably have worked there for awhile. After perusing the menu and getting iced tea, I chose the Long John burger (ordered medium rare) that seemed very tempting and Ed got the Caravan sandwich with Roast Beef. We both ordered a side of the Sweet Potato fries (included!). Expecting a tall juicy burger difficult to get my mouth into it and super messy I was pleasantly surprised to get this very long piece of bread instead. It was much easier to eat and I wasn't slobbering it all over myself. Bravo! The flavor, amount of meat, grilled onions and everything else on the burger was perfectly delicious. Ed's sandwich looked amazing and he really enjoyed it. We both agreed that the grilled onions were absolutely made to perfection and the sweet potato fries some of the best we ever had, especially not soggy or greasy. That doesn't really help when you've already driven 30 minutes home and now have an incomplete meal. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. Offering a refund doesn't fix the inconvenience, the time lost, or the fact that part of our dinner was missing. A better effort to make it right would have gone a long way. We didn't just lose money...We lost time, convenience, and part of your meal. A manager should have gotten on the phone and said something like, 'I'm really sorry, we messed up.
