Toast and preserves

Good service and even better food! Had a hot chai latte and homemade toast ---big and chunky and delicious with a big slab of butter and yummy preserves. Inside is nice and open and outside patio provides a nice sunny spot to have conversation.

Our first visit here was terrific. They have a dog friendly patio with ample seating. It was a beautiful day and the patio was perfect. You order inside and they bring your order to you when it's ready. The coffee was good and so was the cappuccino. We shared the chili. It was meatless and very good. We didn't miss the meat at all. Hubby loved the lamb sandwich and said he will def be coming back for it. He's very judgmental about lamb and how it's prepared. He thought this was outstanding. I had the bacon melt and it was so flavorful. The bread on both sandwiches is house made. They pay attention to the details here.

While visiting our cousins, they took us to Three Forks Bakery & Brewery. A popular eatery here in Nevada City. Street parking only. The tiny parking lot was turned into outdoor seating. Ambience: Crowded and popular place. Simple decor in this brick building. Separate multi-user men & women restrooms. Service: No table service. Order first, pay, then get a number and they will bring your food to your table. The staff was friendly and polite. Food: House Salad: lettuce, carrot, radish, pickled beet, currants, hazelnut, sunflower seed, chives, microgreens, roasted cherry tomato vinaigrette. Barbacoa Lamb Sandwich: arugula, cotija, pickled onion, cilantro vinaigrette, aioli on a ciabatta roll (4/5). Boy, this was a nice smoky, tender, flavorful lamb. Oh, and VERY MESSY to eat! The ciabatta bun really made this sandwich. Trombetta Squash & Genovese Pesto Pizza: fontina, provolone, garlic, red onion, parmesan (4/5). Thin charred crust with a nice cracker crunch and flavorful pesto and thin paper ribbon squash. Agua Fresca Strawberry Rosemary (3/5). Support your local business.

Three Forks focassia is the fluffiest melts-in-your-mouth miracle of a baked good I have ever experienced.

We visited here for breakfast. Our egg dishes were delicious, but the real standout was the almond croissant, wow. Wish I could eat that every day!

Came in during the Victoria Christmas Festival and OMG it was Packed, with a capitol "P." Pretty much every table was taken and I stood in line for at least 30 minutes to order food. Besides it being one crazy busy day, Three Forks Bakery & Brewery is a cool spot. They offer indoor and outdoor seating options, and they are dog-friendly. They are known for pizzas and pastries, so I stood in line for 30 minutes to try their pastries, peep my picture. Every thing was pretty tasty, except the chocolate chip cookie. There was a hint of spicyness to it what my tastebuds did not like very much. Otherwise, the Earl Gray cookie was different, in a good way and I loved the hazelnut pastry! Would I come back? Yes, the pizzas looked delicious and they offer a good selection of different beers on tap.

Interesting place. Includes fare from brew pub, pizza joint, bakery, coffee shop, and trendy cafe. So, elective is the mission statement. That being said, it works. The wood fire pizza is on point. Have a beer. Or chickpea flatbread. Or, you know, scones and espresso.

Pretty good! Arrived on a Saturday. There was a little bit of a line but it moved along. Inside seating was filled up and people were saving tables yet they hadn't ordered. Wife ordered the meatball sub and I had the salami and cheese pizza. The pizza was very good and fresh. Really enjoyed it and definitely would get again. The meatball sub was good - but not amazing. Since the inside tables were all occupied we sat outside. It was comfortable except for the fact we had to wipe down/clean a table. This should have been done by them. Definitely worth a try and wasn't disappointed.

A great place for breakfast if you don't want a sit down option. We ordered this to go and ate at Airbnb nearby before Christmas market. The menu changes everyday but we tried: - the nest egg: hands down the most interesting thing and a well balanced breakfast of sourdough bread wrapped around a hard boiled egg and veggies cooked in a muffin tin. Must get! - standard quiche: good but small slices - Spanish tortilla omlet: huge slices and a little bland, could use some more salt or cheese or hot sauce - various baked goods like the gingersnap cookie, cinnamon roll, and muffin were tasty. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - a small parking lot in front and limited street parking nearby - It's quite popular so be prepared for wait to order, but food comes out quickly - menu changes daily so don't rely on online menus, must see what they have

A good selection of wine and beer, and great porter. The pizza is delicious and there are many vegan options! Friendly staff and a relaxed ambiance.

I wish this bakery/restaurant/brewery had a location in Reno-but we are willing to drive to Nevada City to eat here. Today we had the caramelized onion spread with tapenade and chèvre spread on some of their delicious toasted French bread along with some minestrone soup. Everything is fresh grown at local farms and they plan their weekly menu around what's fresh and available. I love that their menu is constantly changing! Of course we had the get baked goods sharing a piece of decadent, rich, dense chocolate cream pie and taking home a loaf of French bread and a variety of cookies. This restaurant is understandably always busy but there is plenty of seating inside and also on their patio. recommend!
