Raw hamburger and potato salad
Mary P.

I so wanted to give it 5 stars today ! Read and see pics..raw meat burger ! This place is located in Grass Valley. It opens at 11 am . The outdoor space is cool and casual. Plenty of room to meet friends and dog friendly. They ate known for their craft beers..obviously not their food! They Also have pool tables and occasionally live music. There is a full bar and brewery on site. Low key atmosphere with a good vibe. Ok...the burger... I was the first one in there for 20 minutes..ordered a burger with potato salad to go. It took 25 minutes to cook my burger..to go...I get home and it was COMPLETLY raw.. I took a few bites before I noticed it was raw ! I never give a bad review but I have diarrhea and am so sick. The cook doesn't know how to cook or maybe clean his hands before cooking. I would stick to the beer and maybe the pizza. If I continue to feel terrible I will go to ER. BTW. COURTNEY the bartender and server was great..very friendly! Update..this morning I still have a splitting headache and diarrhea...don't eat here unless they change their sanitary situation. Owner offered me a free burger...NO Thank you!

During our mini-getaway to the woods, we stopped in Grass Valley, CA for dinner at 1849 Brewing Company. They had a really nice outdoor seating area, however it was way too cold for that sadly. They also had a wood fired brick oven pizza right when we walked up, which I always assume means delicious pizza! Once inside, the bartender welcomed us in & explained we could sit anywhere, just order all food & drinks up at the bar. From reading other reviews, I expected slow service because it seemed like a one-man-show running the bar & food orders -- but I was wrong! Even when it started to get busier inside, there was never a long wait for food, extra sauce, or even our bill at the end. The decor is cute, with lots of old tin signs with sarcastic & funny sayings on them, lots of antique-like beer slogans, & a handful of pool tables in the back, along with a small stage. I wasn't overly hungry, so I ordered a big Garden Salad with extra balsamic vinaigrette as my main meal. We also ordered the cauliflower hot wings, which could be made with beer b-que sauce, or Korean sauce as well. They were a little softer than I usually like, but the flavor was delicious! My husband ordered the "For The Love Of Veggies" pizza, which came with marinated artichoke hearts, mushroom, onion, peppers, olives, garlic sauce, arugula dressed in olive oil, lemon juice, Parmesan, & their 1849 five cheese blend & sauce. I was right about the oven outside, because the pizza was incredible! We had a great time listening to the eclectic music they had playing, while chatting over our meal together. I'd come back again to try their veggie burger or some of the beer battered veggies!

Dog friendly, large area Came here last minute for some pizza and beer When you arrive, the menus are located in the front, make sure to place your order at the bar even for food! The beers are absolutely cold! My favorite! ordered blonde and raspberry sour both were 5/5 and all 4 drinks were consistently cold so 5/5 on the service. The vibe is totally chill, inside area is huge, you can play pool, they have 2 tables open. They also have a sitting area on the other side of the hall, and outside sitting area. They have cool decor up, definitely a spot I'm checking out again If you are from out of town, I would recommend this location, their House pizza hit the spot!

It's the happening brewery, food and entertainment hub in this shopping center area next to a residential area. This night had a band and later a DJ playing reggae type music. In and outdoor seating. Didn't have a chance to eat there, but the fries and other deep fried specailties smelled delicious. Pleasant beer selection. I really enjoyed the stiff mixed drinks.

Not really kid friendly. Go to Moonraker instead for a kid friendly atmosphere. Food was ok.

Service was glacially slow (45 minutes for two burgers), and not exactly bubbly on the friendly scale. Food was adequate. Will not return.

The extremely rude and unhelpful bartender Orie ruined the experience. Will not be going back.

In particular I'm a huge fan of the homegrown IPA, a great all around brewery.

Honestly it was cooked better than the burger I ordered for myself. Really like the truffle fries here but the burger was mediocre. The honey chicken Mac and cheese was not my favorite, it could use more cheese. Service is super friendly and I enjoyed the vibes here.

Our order included a sandwich…read morewith fries, tacos, half-and-half wings, a Caesar salad, and dessert, but when we got home, both the wings and the salad were missing. We called right away, and while the employee apologized and admitted it was their mistake, the only solution offered was to "take it off the bill." That doesn't really help when you've already driven 30 minutes home and now have an incomplete meal. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. Offering a refund doesn't fix the inconvenience, the time lost, or the fact that part of our dinner was missing. A better effort to make it right would have gone a long way. We didn't just lose money...We lost time, convenience, and part of your meal. A manager should have gotten on the phone and said something like, 'I'm really sorry, we messed up. Let me fix this for you.' A sincere effort to problem-solve, not just a refund. Really hoping more attention is paid to orders moving forward.

Coming to three forks was such a treat being able to get something yummy that's also locally…read moresourced. We ordered a house sausage pizza and to add the salami to the pizza which was a great choice loved the pizza we watched it get made right in front of us and their bacon and cheddar melt. I personally though the bacon and cheddar melt was fine I probably wouldn't order it again looking back on it just simply on the fact it was $21 and the pizza was $23 it just felt very boring and overpriced in comparison to the pizza. I do love the sustainability of this place but find it odd the water cups are plastic after all the effort put into reusable, sustainable, organic, and farm fresh It definitely eat here again especially with the fact the menu is always changing the pastries here were a hit every other table had something from the bakery or a pizza. This is a great spot to come on a date or with a bunch of friends. I haven't tried the brews here yet but I'm looking forward to it. The staff here are very sweet and food comes out quickly. Parking is right outside of Three forks and plentiful even on a Sunday afternoon.
