I placed an online order for pickup only to realize when I arrived that the brewery location is closed for much of the week. On me for the error. I've made that mistake previously and dealt with employees who just ignored me and those that chose to acknowledge me that I needed to come back when they were open. The staff here now only acknowledged me, they went the extra mile to alleviate the error. Service was beyond great and they made me feel valued. I visited the Chico taproom/restaurant location and the product matches the service level. I tried one of the infused (peach) beers and it was very well balanced and easy to drink on the hot day. Hard to brew a simple lager that does not have any "off tastes". They seemed to figured out how to do it. Breweries that are struggling can take note from Farmer's. Lots of great beers and instead of trying to become viral with some crazy Quadruple Hazy Hybrid Pastery Barrel Aged Sour concoction, treat your customer well and make a good clean beer and you'll be successful like I think Farmer's will be/continue to be. If you are in the area, worth the visit as you'll see what craft breweries used to be like before it became overly commercialized.
