We ordered takeout and got burrito bowls. The food was amazing !!! Can't wait to eat here again 10/10 recommend

    Burrito and phorrito!

This place caught my eye since Mexican Viet fusion isn't a combo you see frequently and it was on list to try for months before finally making it there (we live over an hour away). The burritos definitely lived up to the hype! I got a phorrito with steak and it was amazing- I want all my burritos to be pho style from now on! My husband got a regular burrito and also loved it! We've since been back another time and will go out of our way to make sure we can get mexipho!

One of my favorite fusion places! The service is quick, staff is friendly, and the vibes of the place are very cute. It's build your own meal style and you pay at the end. There's plenty of seating inside. As a Viet who's super picky about pho, I'm obsessed with the phorrito. I got the brisket/steak (I didn't realize it's "$1.89 extra") and the Vietnamese style toppings, black beans, lettuce, carrots, and a dash of salsa. I wish I tried it with birria instead but overall it was so good. They even have yellow sriracha as a condiment. I haven't had the Mexican food itself yet, but my friends love it. I will come back next time I'm in Glastonbury!

If you are a fan of Vietnamese Pho, then this is the place for you!! Not only can you find tasty Pho with a choice of different broths, but you can also get a PHORRITO!! That's right, folks, the incredible fusion of Vietnamese Pho and a Mexican burrito!Seriously amazing. The first time I tried it, my brain couldn't even process what was happening. Just imagine a flour tortilla filled with your choice of protein, rice noodles, cilantro, scallions, bean sprouts, onions, Thai basil, fresh jalapeños and PHOrrito sauce!!! WOW. Just wow. Simply walk along the counter and choose what you would like to add to your burrito or pho. (FYI the tofu is amazing.) Tip: Be sure to ask which proteins are included so that you don't have an upcharge for the more expensive ones.

MexiPho is one of those places that my fiancé and I drove past so many times and wondered what it was like - so we finally visited! Honestly, our expectations were exceeded. I literally have not been able to stop thinking about the phorrito I had!! I just loved everything about it, especially the rice noodles. The Mexican burrito, tacos, pho, chips and dips, drinks, and dessert were all great, and it's so beautifully designed inside too! The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. 100% will return when we're in Glastonbury!

The mismatching prices to the charges

Typical sponsored Social media influencer over-hyped food, with a side of New Jersey used car dealership Sleazebaggery. I never thought there would be hidden fees on a burrito, that honestly was less impressive than a hot pocket. During the construction of the burrito and bowl process not once the server had mentioned that he was pushing as delicious and better than the other ingredients were extra charge, so naturally I say yeah put them on. After I paid full price plus a generous tip, they don't give me receipts, after I finish eating I look at the charge on my cc and wondered why two burritos almost cost $50 dollars. I went and asked for a receipt and that took them 10 minutes to print. that's when I discovered the hidden feed, and the manager stone-walled me and told me the "price is the price" Price is the price for a shitty burrito I thought, that's some good customer service, completely absurd behavior, then he offered me a stale piece of cake instead of a refund which is of the same value, so the $8 or $ refund would have solved our problem. I refused because of his absurd condescending demeanor that reminded me of an NJ used car shopping experience I had long ago. He said the price was posted on the screen on the wall, look at the pictures I have included and tell me if you can see the prices or the tiny print for the add-ons, they charged $1.99 for Birria (that was so cold that you can feel the cow fat coat the inside of your mouth) was posted for $1.89 The slimy Queso cheese was $1.45 which is nowhere to be found on the screen. The three slices of onion and two slices of red peppers were charged at $.89 which was not posted on the board also. I posted the pictures and judge for yourself, this is not your place if you love Mexican or Pho, this is a loser combo that should have had the bankers that financed this idea rolling on the ground when they heard it, but the sleazy management convinced them that they'll make money thanks to the fake social media reviews and $5 upsells per sad burrito.

    Birria pho

My wife and I were both home with a cold, and we ordered soup from Mexipho via DoorDash delivery. I've never known exactly how to think of Mexipho because I've only eaten there once. Is it a place that serves Mexican food and Vietnamese food? Is it a Mexican/Vietnamese fusion place? Is it a little of each concept? I ordered pho with Birria as the meat and beef broth as the base. From the listed options, I selected noodles, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, onions, hoisin and sriracha. It didn't taste or look like the pho broth at any of the area Vietnamese places I like. It was redder, more soupy and seasoned, and less brothy. The Birria was good. I didn't like the noodles as well as my favorite pho spots. The pho was light on add-ins. This pho was decent, but next time, I'll stick with a classic area pho. I wasn't a fan of the packaging and pricing options. The Vietnamese pho places I'm experienced with separately package the broth and other ingredients so that the noodles don't degrade and get mushy. The two places I checked do this at no charge or for $1 extra. At least via DoorDash, Mexipho will do this, but they charge an extra $3 on top of the $13.64 Birria pho charge. This doesn't include DoorDash delivery charges, etc. Given the $3 charge, I opted for the single container, and it worked out because it's a fairly short trip from Mexipho to our place and we ate right away. There wasn't even a separate container of lime, bean sprouts, basil, Etc. It was all with hot pho. The beef pho was decent, but I like other area pho options a lot better, especially given the price. 2.5 Stars

Today was my second time, ordering from here, and it was delicious. I got the phoritto- with the rice noodles and the beef Birria. it was absolutely delicious. I did get it with the phoritto sauce and I was not a big fan of it... But everything else was delicious. And do not forget to get the queso... it's worth an order alo

    Tacos (3 per meal)

Mexican and Vietnamese... you would think it's an odd combo! But definitely what a delicious concept. Really solid Pho you can customize and a ridiculously hot chili paste to add if you're brave enough. So many options for tacos. You can opt for traditional Mexican fixings or toss some Pho ingredients in your tacos, like bean sprouts and green onion. Just go crazy! Great hot sauce. Tons of fresh toppings. You can dress your tacos and burritos any way you want. Next time I want to try a Phorrito. Which appears to be a burrito filled with pho beef and other pho related flavors. Mexican soda options. Options for soft corn, flour or crunchy tacos. This place is awesome.

3 tacos are 13.99 plus 7.35% sales tax plus tip (15%). A bit pricey. 17.27 total for tacos. They were filling bland and ordinary.

I walked into a space where the owners were warm and engaged in a way that came through consistently, and the restaurant had the feel of a place run with real investment in what comes out of the kitchen. The pho is the centerpiece and it earns that position. I tried the broth, which was light and clean, built with depth rather than heaviness, and the beef was tender throughout. The short rib and oxtail versions are the ones to order when available, and the brisket is the reliable fallback when they are not. The rare steak and tendon option is worth trying for anyone who wants to go further into the menu. I also ordered the pork vermicelli bowl, another strong choice, with well seasoned pork and fresh vegetables that held up against the noodle base. It came with a spring roll component that added to the overall value of the dish. The banh mi was flavorful and well assembled, and the fresh rolls were worth ordering alongside whatever else I got. Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai tea were both solid and complemented the food well. Service was friendly, and the owners were visibly present and genuinely hospitable. The restaurant accommodates families well, with the kitchen going out of its way on small details like kid friendly utensils and high chairs that make the experience easier for parents. For Vietnamese food in this part of Connecticut, it is the kind of spot worth going out of my way for.

It's close to a sporting complex, in the same plaza as a larger brewery. Not the easiest to spot, will need the gps to assist. The inside is sparse in decoration but the staff was very friendly. We got the spring rolls, the fried wonton, a pho and a bahn mi. Food came out quick, we took pics then dug in. The wontons had a good pork and scallion filling. They didn't need sauce to taste good, which is a good sign. The spring rolls were okay, crispy but oily and the dipping sauce was weak. The pho was good, meat was tender, noodles were okay, and soup base was chicken broth with spices. The bahn mi was pretty good as well. Pickled veggies were very sweet, the ham was tender enough and the mayo butter was heavy handed. The bread was crusty but soft, not what I consider to be proper bahn mi bread, but good enough. Price was about 45 for the two apps and entrees, which is about average for that style of meal. It's not anything to write home about. I would recommend ordering to go mainly because the dining space is right underneath a wrestling ring and the floor shakes when someone gets body slammed below.
