Green tea with passion fruit and Black milk tea with coffee jelly

We went to Dazzling Pho for the first time today and can say we are quite impressed! We had their egg rolls which were meaty and had a really good umami flavor. We also tried their pho with steak and meatballs. The broth was flavorful and stayed nice and warm throughout the meal largely in part to the metal bowls they were served in. The sliced steak was surprised tender and their meatballs were beef-y and had a nice chew to them. Oh and their bubble tea could rival most bubble tea joints! All in all a great experience and we are planning to come back.

I'm always on the look out for a good Banh Mi, I came across this new spot online. I got 2 drinks, the Oreo smoothie and lychee oolong tea. The Oreo smoothie was really good not overly sweet, and my tea was refreshing but I did not taste any lychee flavoring in it. I ordered the grilled pork and grilled beef banh mi. The bread is really good, but they were kind of cheap with the meats so it did not balance the sandwich well, all I could taste were the pickled veggies. The beef banh mi had a better ratio of meat than the pork, kind of disappointed as I drove 30 min to try it out. I originally wanted to try the cold cut pork banh mi but they ran out of that one. Since they are new, I'll have to return and give them another chance.

    Thai tea w/boba

I stopped in as for 1.. Boba! And 2, the Pho.. They have great reviews so far. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me. They were so friendly and had smiles on their faces. I was looking up at the menu board and was offered a smaller menu to take and view, in which I was thankful for. I had a few questions that were answered thoroughly. Very pleased. I ordered to go: the rare steak pho, Thai milk tea w/boba, and spring rolls. The packaging is very convenient, especially the stock/broth. I drank the tea and ate the spring rolls. Both were good. I brought the pho home for my husband, and didn't get to try it. Will have to next time to review it.

Bahn Mi sandwich was fresh and delicious! Loved the sauce. Egg rolls were delicious and crunchy on the outside with a warm filling, sauce was on point also. The Vietnamese coffee is interesting -- the salty foam was new to me and definitely tastes as described. Food was beautiful and service was fast. Its light and bright interior brings up your mood. Thank you, Dazzling Pho!

    Grilled pork buhn mi

I hear about once a week and it is always consistently fantastic, I highly recommend the grilled pork Buhn mi. And pay the two dollars for extra meat you won't be disappointed and then wash it down with a Thai tea for a fantastic complete meal. The owners are always so nice and friendly and the place is immaculately clean.

I had the passion fruit and Vietnamese coffee with salted cold foam. The drinks were great and the service was fantastic!

I'm finally back here. The restaurant is Vietnamese and is located at 252 Broad St. in Manchester,…read moreCT. It's been quite some time. This is possibly the largest pho (Vietnamese) restaurant in the state (next to Pho Boston). The decor is real nice too. The menu is huge. There are a lot of options including classic Vietnamese non-soup dishes (one of which I am getting). Unique items include salmon spring rolls and salmon noodle soup. There is no music. That should be on while they're open. The owner, Pete, immediately serves me a huge glass of ice water with a lime. It's warm outside so it's very refreshing. For my drink, I'm having a Nuoc Chanh (fresh lime). Nước chanh is a classic Vietnamese limeade, known for its refreshing balance of tart, sweet, and occasionally a hint of salt. In Vietnamese cuisine, "chanh" usually refers to green limes, though lemons can be used as a substitute abroad. This is good! It tastes closer to lemonade. For my appetizer, I am having the Goi Cuon Ga (chicken spring rolls). Gỏi cuốn gà are fresh, non-fried rolls filled with poached chicken, rice vermicelli, fresh herbs (mint, cilantro), and lettuce wrapped in thin rice paper. They are a light, healthy alternative to the traditional pork and shrimp version, often served with peanut hoisin dipping sauce or fish sauce (nước chấm). These are light and easy to eat. The cubed or diced or minced chicken is a different approach I haven't seen before. Add sriracha sauce for a little kick. These are good! They do serve everything on styrofoam plates. Adding some ceramic plates would be a nice touch. For my entree, I'm having the ga luclac (also known as Shaking Chicken). This is stir fried chicken breast with mixed vegetables and white rice. Vietnamese Shaking Chicken (gà lúc lắc) is a popular dish featuring wok-seared, cubed chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and garlic, resulting in a caramelized, savory flavor. It is typically seared at high heat to create a crust, served over greens with onions and tomatoes, often accompanied by rice. I've asked for extra spicy. Let's see what comes out. There's always sriracha sauce as a last resort. This is more like it! It's served sizzle hot! That's a big portion! This tastes great! It's nice to be served by the owner himself! What a great meal here! P.S.: When paying, you need to go up to the front counter.

Don't concentrate too hard on trying to figure out if Pho 99 is the best the region's got. After all, luminaries like Mrs. Lee's and Pho House are gone, but Pho 99 is still here, and it's still so damn good. As a vegetarian, I love the tofu and veggies in Pho 99's pho chay. The pillows of tofu have the right combo of chewy skin and pliant interior, there are the right amount of auxiliary veggies, and the slender noodles always melt and dissolve just so into a silky oneness with the broth. I love the slight cinnamon smell in the broth and the way it gets better the longer it sits there, absorbing the squirts of sriracha and the bean sprouts you dump in. If you want something else, take it from my husband, a philistine on whom the delights of all soups are wasted, who says he adores their shaking beef. Family run, consistently delicious, and not overpriced at $20 for a large bowl, Pho 99's enduring goodness is a reminder of the astronomically high level of Vietnamese food in Hartford we are privileged to enjoy.

What a cold and windy day and the air is salty and my windshield and coat shows it! Hungry, tired, and annoyed at the salty weather I walk in to a polite young man at the counter who warmly invites me in and tells me I can sit where I please...which I obliged after asking to use their restroom which was clean. I make my way to my table and the restaurant is picking up with more people checking in while there are others already present on the left side of this restaurant and few others await pickup orders. There seems to be just a small number of staff but they are very efficient and attentive. After I sat down I was expecting to be forgotten but nope! The young man walked over with a glass of water for me and took my order. There were so many great options on the menu so it was a task to decide butI did it! For a drink I choose the original milk tea with Boba pearls. For app I choose the grilled betel leaf with meat stuffed inside of it and for my main course I got the Hue's Spicy Noodle Soup. Everything from start to finish was delicious. I enjoyed my milk tea very much and finished it off after my meal. The Betel Leaf rolls are perfectly seasoned. I like mine dipped in Siracha. I ate it all! My noodle soup, OMG, the broth was amazing! Please taste it first before adding other sauces. It deserves to be acknowledged first. I'd drive 1.5 hrs back here just for this soup again. Its a must try. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and bring my friends and family with me to try other things on their menu. BTW I enjoyed my meal so much I ordered their cold cut sandwiches to take home and share with my family as a treat upon my return home. I didn't get a chance for a pic for them cause I ate it and forgot lol.

Still pretty good pho, big portions and good flavors…read more I've come to this place a few times throughout the year. It's a good pho spot for the Vernon location. The portions are plentiful, the soup is okay but there's plenty of toppings and sauces to doctor it up a bit. The spring rolls and egg rolls have a good amount of pork in them and the dipping sauces are fresh and tasty. The egg roll sauce is this rose water floral sweet, tangy dip which helps with the rich pork. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls had a little spicy zip to it which complimented the fresh veggies. Overall, it's good pho. The pho base needs to be more assertive in its flavor profile. It needs a deeper beef or chicken flavor and more seasoning. So possibly a bit more salt and vinegar to amp up the flavors of the soup a bit. If they make the soup base stronger, then it can contend with the big names of pho in ct. as it stands though, it's pretty good for the area

It's close to a sporting complex, in the same plaza as a larger brewery. Not the easiest to spot, will need the gps to assist. The inside is sparse in decoration but the staff was very friendly. We got the spring rolls, the fried wonton, a pho and a bahn mi. Food came out quick, we took pics then dug in. The wontons had a good pork and scallion filling. They didn't need sauce to taste good, which is a good sign. The spring rolls were okay, crispy but oily and the dipping sauce was weak. The pho was good, meat was tender, noodles were okay, and soup base was chicken broth with spices. The bahn mi was pretty good as well. Pickled veggies were very sweet, the ham was tender enough and the mayo butter was heavy handed. The bread was crusty but soft, not what I consider to be proper bahn mi bread, but good enough. Price was about 45 for the two apps and entrees, which is about average for that style of meal. It's not anything to write home about. I would recommend ordering to go mainly because the dining space is right underneath a wrestling ring and the floor shakes when someone gets body slammed below. But it's good enough pho for that area
