Pho Delight had a nice scenery. There are outdoor seatings for a nice day, as well as a lot of indoor. During lunch hour, they were not very busy so service was quick. Pictured is the drunken noodles. Spice level was 2, so it was just a hint of spice; levels are 1-5. I had their coffee, although it was really good, it was also very sweet. The lychee juice was absolutely superb!

Who knew you could get such good food in little ole Willimantic? A cut above the typical Thai resto with some outstanding specialties and a step up with the familiar dishes. We started with some excellent spring rolls, both fresh (with shrimp) and deep fried (with chicken). The latter were crispy cheroots of deliciousness, very addictive. My wife had their eggplant with Thai red curry which was very flavorful and just the right heat level (she chose level 3 out of a heat index 1-5 offered). My daughter had a hankering for pho which she really enjoyed. I sampled the broth and it was very good, meaty but light. I had a chicken pad thai which was also very well made, with tender pieces of white meat and bright flavors. A standout was the crabmeat fried rice which we shared - very very good and I would come back just for another plate of this. We are looking forward to another visit to try more dishes!

Fast and efficient service. Authentic Thai food with large serving sizes and options for everyone! We are repeat customers and enjoy it every time we stop by! Highly recommend.

Our family loves Thai food, and if I lived in Willimantic, I'd be a regular here both for dining in and takeout as there are not other Thai options in the neighborhood. But, compared to other Thai restaurants, this was just okay. There were pros and cons with each dish. The Pad See Eew was pretty good and well executed, though the dinner portion was a little on the small side. The flavor of the Thai Basil dish was very nice, but perhaps a bit heavy handed with the fish sauce. The Kai Ka Prow, one of their specialties, had an ample amount of protein, but the bone in the ground chicken and eggshells from the fried egg really detracted from an otherwise tasty dish. We easily found street parking on a rainy night, and the staff seemed eager to please. Our dishes arrived to the table somewhat staggered - I suspect the kitchen is small, and the casual atmosphere leads me to believe they do a lot of takeout vs. dining in.

We ordered 3 meals to be delivered all of which came with rice, one was specifically a fried rice meal the other 2 stated that they came with rice. Those two meals were delivered with no rice! We called to let them know and after we had the meals delivered we were asked to come pick up the rice if we wanted it. We were charged a $5.99 delivery fee which I feel they should have offered to reimburse since we ended up having to drive to the restaurant to get the remaining part of our order that they never included in the bag! To add to that both of those meals (the orange chicken and the garlic meal) were very skimpy for what we paid, at $18 a piece! This was a disappointment I'm sorry to say.

As always, great service. The water with lemon was brought out quickly along with the menu. I can legitimately hear the cook making my dish soon after it was order and that also came out timely. The flavor fusion was blended so well. The music and atmosphere is always nice there. I was going to tell the waitress to let the cook know how good his food was but he actually came out. Nice touch. I appreciated that. My drink, entree and dessert is on point once again. I will be back for sure!!

We've gone there multiple times and every time the food has been spot on! Beverages, Pho, salads, curries, noodles, appetizers, we've never had a complaint. The servers have always been very welcoming and efficient.

My wife and I set out to run some errands in Willi and then get some dinner. A few minutes later we quickly spotted Pho Delight, circled around to park, and headed on in. The friendly staff greeted and seated up immediately. Their dining room and bar areas were tidy and comfortable with about a dozen tables, and they were doing a pretty decent business for a cold and rainy Wednesday night. The menu had a familiar mix of Thai dishes, along with a section of soups and various kinds of pho. We decided to keep things familiar for a first visit, ordering appetizers of spring rolls and coconut shrimp, and for entrees a bowl of beef pho and yellow chicken curry, all to share. The appetizers came out quickly and piping hot straight from the fryer. Spring rolls were crunchy with a fresh veggie filling, accompanied by the usual sweet-and-fishy dipping sauce. Coconut shrimp really smelled and tasted like fresh coconut and were also perfectly cooked with a clean shrimpiness; their dipping sauce was a sriracha-infused mayo. The pho was a generous bowl of broth, noodles, scallions, cilantro, and beef slices, with the customary accompaniments of basil, bean sprouts, sliced hot peppers, and a lime wedge. The yellow curry was a rich coconut-milk based sauce swimming with slices of chicken, onions, carrots, and potatoes, along with a side of jasmine rice. Both entrees were simply terrific, executed and seasoned perfectly with a clean, clear mouth feel. Chatting with our server we learned that the restaurant had been here for a few years, but very recently was sold to a new owner who redecorated the dining room and redesigned the menu. That owner, a young man named Sitta, introduced himself and told us of his upbringing in southern Thailand and subsequent graduate studies in China (he speaks English well, along with Mandarin and his native Thai). When I mentioned that it seemed out of place for a Thai restaurant to serve pho, he reassured us that pho is common street food in Thailand, and that their Thai version is generally simpler and has fewer ingredients than Vietnamese pho. I guess you learn something new every day -- in any case, the pho here is delicious and can compete with any similar soup I've ever had. All in all a great experience and we're going to have to dine here again and explore the menu more deeply. Highly recommended... I just hope that success doesn't overwhelm and spoil this little gem.

What a cold and windy day and the air is salty and my windshield and coat shows it! Hungry, tired, and annoyed at the salty weather I walk in to a polite young man at the counter who warmly invites me in and tells me I can sit where I please...which I obliged after asking to use their restroom which was clean. I make my way to my table and the restaurant is picking up with more people checking in while there are others already present on the left side of this restaurant and few others await pickup orders. There seems to be just a small number of staff but they are very efficient and attentive. After I sat down I was expecting to be forgotten but nope! The young man walked over with a glass of water for me and took my order. There were so many great options on the menu so it was a task to decide butI did it! For a drink I choose the original milk tea with Boba pearls. For app I choose the grilled betel leaf with meat stuffed inside of it and for my main course I got the Hue's Spicy Noodle Soup. Everything from start to finish was delicious. I enjoyed my milk tea very much and finished it off after my meal. The Betel Leaf rolls are perfectly seasoned. I like mine dipped in Siracha. I ate it all! My noodle soup, OMG, the broth was amazing! Please taste it first before adding other sauces. It deserves to be acknowledged first. I'd drive 1.5 hrs back here just for this soup again. Its a must try. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and bring my friends and family with me to try other things on their menu. BTW I enjoyed my meal so much I ordered their cold cut sandwiches to take home and share with my family as a treat upon my return home. I didn't get a chance for a pic for them cause I ate it and forgot lol.

The portions are plentiful, the soup is okay but there's plenty of toppings and sauces to doctor it up a bit. The spring rolls and egg rolls have a good amount of pork in them and the dipping sauces are fresh and tasty. The egg roll sauce is this rose water floral sweet, tangy dip which helps with the rich pork. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls had a little spicy zip to it which complimented the fresh veggies. Overall, it's good pho. The pho base needs to be more assertive in its flavor profile. It needs a deeper beef or chicken flavor and more seasoning. So possibly a bit more salt and vinegar to amp up the flavors of the soup a bit. If they make the soup base stronger, then it can contend with the big names of pho in ct. as it stands though, it's pretty good for the area

Really? Here is the thing people need to understand: people don't just eat out to eat. They eat out to feel better about their lives. Even if just for an hour. Even if just to escape the kitchen and the stress at home. When the service is missing, or poor, or causes more stress than it relieves, it's not worth going back. No matter how good the food is. It was slow when we were there. So, it's not like they were overwhelmed. They just weren't paying attention to the people who actually showed up. I feel for the owners. I do. Running a restaurant is brutal. But if folks like us don't come back, and we won't, you're in trouble. Because the service element is like a note which says we want you back or we could give a****. A couple of breakfast cafes have come and gone and left little impression. Prior to Pho House moving here, we had a pretty average suburban Chinese take-out joint, whose traditional and typical offerings varied anywhere from passable to abysmal. And so when we locals heard about the impending arrival of something truly different we anticipated its coming with great hope and lofty expectations. So far I would have to say that they've hit the mark we all counted on. We've gotten take-out from them about a half-dozen times so far and everything is fresh, tasty, nicely prepared, and attractively arranged. Some specifics... Appetizers come exactly as expected: spring rolls are hot and crunchy, dumplings tender and chewy, shrimp tempura nicely crispy. If you order their eponymous pho, you can get it packaged separately still comprising its various component parts (broth, meat, vegetables, condiments, etc.) which enables you to assemble it fresh at home. Their various stir-fry dishes, whether based on rice or noodles, are all well seasoned and contain a good mix of veggies, protein, and sauces. Their fried rice is full of fresh cilantro and not too salty or soy-saucy. While they have a half-dozen tables, we've always gotten takeout; we live 3 minutes away so it's never seemed to make sense to dine in. Frankly, there's little by the way of restaurant ambience to speak of -- it's primarily a take-out counter with a big kitchen behind -- but the food honestly speaks for itself.

Here's what we ordered: crab rangoons, vegetable summer rolls, chicken satay, beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, duck lion city noodles, and a Thai tea. The crab rangoons were definitely the highlight of the meal. These were genuinely great -- crispy, creamy, flavorful, and just really satisfying. My family loved them, and I would go back just for these alone. I'm guessing they're even better fresh out of the kitchen. The vegetable summer rolls were okay. Fresh and decent, but I wish they came with more dipping sauce -- we barely had enough for three people. Would've liked some protein in them too, but they were still a solid starter. The chicken satay just wasn't it for me. It was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor, even with the peanut sauce. My sister and mom liked it, so I think this one comes down to personal preference, but I wouldn't order it again. As for the noodle dishes -- they were all just mid. The beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, and duck lion city noodles were fine, but none of them stood out. They weren't bland, but they also weren't memorable. I was hoping for bold flavors, especially in the lion city noodles, but that one especially fell flat. I expected a dry curry noodle dish and instead got something that tasted like a basic stir fry. Not bad, just not exciting. The duck in both dishes was cooked fine, but again -- nothing wow-worthy. The Thai tea was a miss. I could tell just by looking at it that it had too much milk, and once I tasted it, it was basically sweet cream with barely any tea flavor. Wouldn't get again. Overall, the service was lovely and the crab rangoons made it worth the trip, but everything else was kind of forgettable. I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to come back here, but I also wouldn't be the one suggesting it. Still, for the area, it's nice to have a Thai spot that's fast and friendly -- I just wish the flavors packed a bit more punch.
