The energy is lively without being overwhelming, making it a fun place to hang out or grab a quick bite. The food is the real star here. The ramen is rich and satisfying, and the add-ons are especially flavorful--they genuinely elevate the bowl rather than feeling like an afterthought. Everything comes out fresh and well put together. Service is another strong point. The servers are attentive, friendly, and impressively fast, so you're never left waiting too long even when it's busy. And if you're in a rush or want to enjoy it at home, Mecha does an excellent job with takeout--the food travels well and still tastes great. All in all, Mecha is a consistently solid ramen spot with great food, great music, and a fun, upbeat atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

We got pho tai and pho ga. Barely any meat which is a disgrace. One good thing, their noodles were chewy and I haven't had much experience with chewy rice noodles. The appetizer edamame was good. Not Asian but still good. Service was decent. It did take a while for the food to come out. And they were busy so I acknowledge that.

Two fried chicken dumplings and an egg roll were able to be added to my meal for only 3$ which I thought was a steal. There was no dipping sauce to go with them, but I just dipped it into the spicy cumin sauce and they were delicious as well. I had 4 meals out of those two entrees so I'm very glad I ordered here. The place is small with only two tables and does not have AC. There is an outside table that she offered. You order on the iPad and pay first. The food came out as it was ready. The soup dumplings were very good but hard to eat with the chopsticks and plastic spoon. We ordered two noodle dishes to try. The pork noodles were my favorite. It came with minced pork and delicious wide hand pulled noodles. The sauce was a perfect amount of flavor with some spice. The cold noodles were not my favorite noodle. They tasted a bit more jelly like. It came with tofu which surprisingly was the best tofu I have had. It came with sliced cucumber which was refreshing. The pork noodle was definitely a must. The owner was lovely and came over to talk to us multiple times. I am bummed I waited so long to try it and will have to order again before they move.

I went to place my order and wanted the mi ga (Sunday only) but it seemed like they weren't making it! It was fine, I ended up getting the standard beef pho and a Thai tea. My drink came out instantly and the pho very soon after. No wonder this place is so popular! It was well seasoned, beef well cooked, and delicious! Perfect for a cooler wet day! The servers were very fast and efficient, and the clientele seemed like all regulars that came here often to enjoy pho. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in the Hartford area! Parking lot was empty when I entered but when I left around 11 it seemed almost full, so be sure to get there early.

Lunch specials are smaller portion, but good for the price (raised to $12.95 now since my last menu photo) We split a lot of dishes because we couldn't decide: Wonton soup appetizer {4.5/5}: Loved how delicate the wontons were and the clear broth was great for a cold day. Tad too salty though. Lunch special --Braised pork belly {3/5}: Very tender, but kind of monotone in flavor. Very filling! Lunch special --Hot and sour gizzards {4.5/5}: This might freak people out in terms of texture, but I LOVE this texture. Good chew and pops of heat from the peppers and acid from the pickled green beans Lunch special --Cumin dish lamb {3/5}: kind of chewy and not as much flavor as I wished, but not bad! Chicken wings {3/5}: Crunchyyyy. Battered wings, not as much flavor as their chongqing chicken which I prefer, but not bad

Outside is very much a busy shopping plaza in not the best part of town. Inside is a completely different story. Very clean and spacious, lots of booths and tables. Decorated well and a lot to see. The staff were friendly but there was a slight language barrier. We fumbled through the menu and found some bites to try. Food came out relatively quick, and that was a bit to manage because there were a lot of plates brought rather quickly. We got pics and dug in. The bites were flavored well. Nothing felt too greasy or under seasoned. The white pepper chicken was very crispy. But not a lot of chicken on each bite. The sweet and sour soup was both sweet and sour, but balanced enough that you could keep on eating it. The dumplings were fresh noodles and the filling was spiced well. The only flop was the spare ribs. Really tasty sauce, but very little meat on the bone. Had to suck on the bones to scrape enough meat off to make it a proper appetizer. It tasted good, just was not easy to eat. Price for the area was high for the neighborhood. It's got the quality and the flavor to command that price easily, but it doesn't match the stores. It's really good, but know that you're getting the real deal sichuan experience. Expect some heat, some saucy fingers, and some bones, and you'll get some really good bites

Good food, reasonable prices for the area, dark…read more Came here cause the missus was craving dumpling and we've only dabbled in the restaurants in WeHa. Outside was unassuming. Sidewalks were torn up but the place is hard to find with lack of signage. We were able to get seated right away, and looked through their digital menu. We got a smattering of dishes, wontons and dumplings, a sandwich and a ramen. Food came out in a reasonable wait time. We took pics and dug in. The 7 flavor dumpling was the star of the show. Light and thin dumpling wrapper, savory sweet sauce, plenty of filling. The pork dumplings were good, but the wrapper was thicker and denser. The twice cooked pork sandwich was pretty tasty, the pork needed to be more present compared to the veggies, but appreciated the crisp of the bread. The ramen had a good amount of braised beef and noodles. The broth needed a little doctoring to coax out some of the more savory notes. Broth needed more aggressive seasoning though. The price was not too bad for the area. It's kind of like dim sum, where you get a small plate for the price but it's all shareable and the flavors are good. It's not very well lit, gave the place a very dark air about it. But as a restaurant, it's pretty good. There's a lot of great places in that area, and this one's a good option if you're looking for small plates.
