I chose to order the kale cauliflower salad which came with a beautiful filet of salmon, feta, walnuts, dried cranberries, and a yummy vinaigrette. I was curious to see how all these flavors would work together but it was all delicious. I loved the crunch from the walnuts, the sweetness from the cranberries, and the creaminess of the feta. I can't say I've ever had a salad with cauliflower in it either but it was actually really good. For $19, I was really impressed with the quality and serving size especially of the salmon. Service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. She dropped the check but didn't make me feel rushed and even refilled my iced tea. I would highly recommend Barrett's!

They have a small area on the side that has garage door like partitions that can be open to the outside to let the fresh air in. Was a little bit loud. You could hear the music in the background and hear all the conversations, but you could still hold a conversation with your other party. Rather large menu with an eclectic selection of brunch items and lunch items. I had the fried chicken poached eggs. Bestie had the breakfast combo with French toast. We both had the bacon bloody Mary. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture with all the accoutrements on top of the bloody Mary, but it came with a slice of their candied bacon tightly wrapped around a bamboo skewer that was just so crispy, sweet, salty, and delicious. The ram had old bay around it, of course you're in Maryland. A slice of lime a slice of lemon and a fat olive topped it off. The bloody Mary was very good and we had a nice little buzz going before breakfast arrived. Where to start, the biscuits were heavenly, had a nice crispy edge, light and fluffy little bit of sweetness, but not too overpowering. And they were huge. The crispy fried chicken pieces were absolutely delicious very tender very crispy little bit of spice, but not super overpowering. And the post poached eggs I can't say enough about them. So the whites were completely cooked. The yolks had a small layer of almost cooked hard-boiled Lake yolk and then the inside was gooey runnier than a jammy egg but just perfect. The black pepper gravy was divine and I love that they didn't drown the whole thing in it. It just went well with everything. Came with a nice side of crispy home fries. It was so huge. I only ate half of the first biscuit and I'll have breakfast for the next two days I swear. Cindy's combo was good although she asked for eggs over easy and they were a little bit more towards the medium, but the French toast was amazing even though it's a half side it was a huge portion light crispy. It came with their cinnamon butter which she didn't use a little bit of syrup and she also got the scrapple for her side meat. Two large thick crispy pieces of scrapple which she said was very very delicious. They had a hot fire honey sauce at the table which she tried and she said that was super good as well. Got a cup of coffee to go as well. That was great great coffee just your standard coffee nothing fancy overall our total bill was roughly $65 and considering the bloody mary's and the absolute feast we had for breakfast. It was such a bargain. The service was extremely friendly. Our waitress was incredibly kind and checked on us at just the right intervals. And everything was absolutely fantastic.
