The food is still delicious as ever. But the service is still pretty slow for a food truck. They were somewhat annoying as 3 people ordered after me and they all got their food before me. Also $13.70 for 3 street tacos???? I'm convinced they change the price based on who's ordering because they blanked out all the prices on the menu, and there's no way they charge everyone this much for 3 tiny street tacos. RIP OFF!!! This shouldn't EVER be more than 3.50 per street taco. The food is authentic and delicious, but overpriced and very slow, and I think the operators charge different people more unfairly and prioritize certain people's service. Tonight was my second time ordering from El Taquito Leon, and it hasn't disappointed yet! Our order was done early and the cashier was friendly. We have tried the elotes, al pastor, al pastor birria, the mixed meat taco, and barbacoa - all 10/10 delicious. I really liked their consommé. So last night we decided to order out and decided to try this food from this food truck. Call us lazy, but we were tired and could've easily either drove or walked to the truck... that is how close we are to their location. Now this truck has been around our area for over several months and have seen a lot people lining up for food. The first time me and my neighbor stopped at the truck, they advised they had to shut down early due to a mechanical issue with the truck and could not serve us any food. Hubby had the California taco special and I had 3 tacos( chicken, pulled pork and steak). Inside the container you get some spicy sauce, a lime wedge and sliced radishes. I was surprised how those 3 tacos filled me up. Now the flavors were banging, and I did experiment with the sauce, which had a big kick to it! The pulled pork was very favorable and might be my favorite over both the steak and chicken. Hubby didn't let me get a bite of his tacos, but I did manage to sneak a piece. Yum yum! Solid tacos for a food truck, but obviously there are many better taco joints in Baltimore. I ordered pollo, asada, tripa, and lengua. Each meat was cooked reasonably well and served on a double corn tortilla. Yet myseteriously, each taco seemed to be less than the sum of its parts. The pollo was well cooked and moist for a grilled and chopped breast, but somehow the addition of the one verde sauce they gave me buried its flavor. The tripa was crisp on one side and in big chunks, but not that flavorful. The asada was delicious sampled on its own but again got lost in the taco. The lengua was the stewed version and probably the asada and the lengua would be my reorder if I came back. At 3.99 per taco (4.99 for the lengua), the price is similar to most taquerias in Baltimore, but it's a street truck. read more

She forgot to tell them no tomato & lettuce (since she doesn't like either), but she ate every single drop. Both items came with two sauces.
