Their wonderful location at the PA Dutch Market is perfect. I'll always miss the bison place that was here in the past, but if we have to move forward, we should be happy with MOTR! Solid food truck. I bunch of my friends have been raving about how good the food is here so today I decided to finally give them a try. I really had to plan out my visit here because they don't come to where I live. It was about a 20 min drive. I heard they get crowded but on this Tuesday when I arrived around 1:30 there were only two people in line. I kept is simple with the Mexican chicken street tacos. My order was ready quickly and after just a few minutes of waiting I was on my way home to enjoy. They smelled delicious. When I got home they looked great too. They chicken was a little over cooked and dried out a bit. The flavor was savory but they used a lot of fresh onion that overpowered the seasoning. I doctored them up with a little guacamole and salsa from my fridge that helped to balance it out. The portion size was more than enough to fill me up with Judy three tacos. The corn tortillas were the best part in my opinion. They were not hard yet they didn't fall apart when I picked them up. It has its regular home base and communicates the weekly lineup via Facebook, so it's really easy to know what hours, and days you can catch them and where. So far I've tried a mix of their tacos (they offer Chicken, Birria, El pastor and Carnitas), one of their specialty burritos, and though it's not a consistent menu item their chips and queso. I have been researching Birria tacos and Mexican on the Run came up on my radar. My aunt mentioned she was in the area and spotted the truck. It was at that very moment I knew I had to pull up on them. I sashayed across Sherwood road and instantly smelled the deliciousness, through my mask might I add. My aunt ordered her tacos but I wasn't so sure what I wanted. The lady taking my order took the time to explain my options which I really appreciated. I settled on the three queso tacos option. I mixed and matched the birria (braised beef), pollo (chicken) and carnita (braised pork) along with the transmission oil dipping sauce, or whatever you call it. Anyway the birria itself was very oily and my least fav but still very yummy. I just know I need a bib next time. The pollo and carnita were amazing. The meat was flavorful and very moist. We stayed with the verde salsa which was perfect. We always miss the food truck so we tried them at the Amish market. Definitely not disappointed and the price was right. Checked out the truck over the weekend and it lived up to the hype! We got queso tacos with al pastor, chicken, and of course birria! We also had a side of consome (the marinade from the Birria I believe) which we dipped our tacos in. Flavor was great on all the tacos and it was a nice change up to standard tacos! Only downside is they were out of chips and drinks that day, but I bet they have great tortilla chips! We waited in line maybe 5-10 mins and then for food maybe another 10 mins. I decided to try out Mexican on the Run for the first time at around 1:30 on a Saturday so I knew there would probably be a substantial wait. It took about an hour from the time I got in line until the time I was back in the car with my food. It was definitely worth the wait! The queso tacos with birria and consomé was delicious! It was a good amount of food, the birria was really tender and had great flavor. I had to sprinkle a little salt on mine, but that's just me. They have to be careful since others probably wouldn't appreciate the extra sodium. I'll be back! read more

Not sure what ppl like about this place. I guess it good enough for the locals. As for ppl that know Mexican food. This is not the place for you. This truck is more on the American side. Some of the reasons I did not like are as follows. Red "spicy" sauce is just watered down tomatoes. More of a chip and tomato salsa. Just doesn't go with the tacos I ordered. It is not red Chile made from dry chili pods. Not even close to hot either. I didn't have the green salsa because I normally go for hot so I can't comment on it. I had the carnitas and they are pretty much just like the rest around here. Boiled until the meat falls apart. I also had the birria tacos with the consomé those were a little better but again the salsa did not help. The consomé was good. My fiancé had the quesadillas and that was okay. How can you mess up a grill up tortilla with cheese? There are three things that must happen with a taco. Salsa, protein and tortilla. I have no comment about the tortilla. The prices are in the high side too. Service was awesome the lady that helped was super friendly and ready to answer any question. That's why I gave the place a 2. A burrito that will fill you up. I've had the burrito, and the El Chapo - both were great. They have an awesome selection of meats. I had the nachos too - that needs some work, but it was a "test item" so I'll give them a break. They guy that takes your order is friendly and loud, so you'll know when your order is up. I loved the consume - sour, a bit spicy, and full of flavor. The birria tacos were pretty good overall (was looking forward to a nice corn tortilla). The sad part was that the beef in my birria tacos was a bit dry and bland - I think they may have overcooked the beef in broth so all the flavor came out of the meat. (6/30/2016) New truck showed up at work for lunch. Got the Torta with Al Pastor, couldn't help myself. It's hard to find a good torta around town. Al Pastor was chunks of fatty pork loin in a savory seasoning with chiles, garlic, cinnamon and pineapple, delicious; some pieces moist, some a little dry. Sandwich was on a very soft split-top roll (said "bolillo roll" on the menu, but was more like a telera roll), I'm used it being a little more crusty. Fillings were very good with the Al Pastor though, pico de gallo, salsa verde, fresh sliced avocado, crumbled queso fresco, huge chunks of pickled jalapeno. Very pleased. Was $9, but it was basically delivered up to doorstep, so not really complaining. Looking forward to trying the carnitas and maybe some of the other meats in torta form (you can get a quesadilla anywhere).
