Found this food truck at a school event. Tried the Elvis got the Blues Burger. Holy cow. That is a good burger. the french fries are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Great flavor.

This is a great place for a burger! They offer a BYOB (build your own burger) option that offers nice different meat choices.... bison, wagyu etc and pick a half pound or full 16 oz, made the way you like it. Good fish tacos also!

On the bright side, I can definitively say that these burgers are far better than those from the Dorothy Moon food truck that used to often visit my job at lunch time--but these look and smell better than they taste. I will admit my quintessential burger is one that is done medium rare--and although I asked for mine cooked rare-mid rare it definitely was not. It was at least medium well. If they could not cook it the way I wanted, they should've said so. What I did like were the bun and the fresh fixings. I had tomato, some super fresh arugula and yummy mushrooms. The meat was just OK. It didn't seem like 1 lb of meat, though, as ordered... Not sure if the burger was worth $8. I'll stick with McCormick and Schmick's happy hour, Five Guys, Rays and umm, my charcoal grill for great burgers.

Around the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus, there isn't really a plethora of eatery delights on wheels, except for the normal hot dog carts. So for lunch, as I was walking towards the golden arches to grab a quick bite of the elusive McRib (yes I know... I have stooped so low! fails)... I saw this happy looking truck with cute dogs on it. There is a good amount of variety from this burger truck. Pick your choice of burger: bison, beef, turkey, and veggie, pick your choice of 3 toppings, pick your choice of cheese, and pick your choice of 3 sauces for just $8. So, $8 might seem a lot at first, but for the amount of toppings/customization you can get on your burger and the sheer size of this burger (it is ginormous), it is worth the money. They have a lot of more special toppings (ie: baja salsa which was pretty yummy), than you may be normally used to, so be prepared for moment of indecisiveness. Fresh, made to order burger to send you into a food coma. For another $2 you can get fries (sweet potato, regular, or half & half). I wasn't a fan, but meh... the burger was the show stopper here. It's $1 for a can of soda. I kind of wish they had like root beer floats or something (somesort of a sweetness to pair up the richness of the burger), but might be too hard for a food truck to handle so many different elements. Also, wished that they would toast the buns prior to loading it up, but maybe they will do it upon request? They said that they will be at W. Baltimore St. and S. Greene Street/S Paca Street every Wednesday serving up lunch starting from today.

This back corner of the market has a bit of a retro club vibe with some TVs playing movies for you to enjoy if you choose to eat at the bar or any tables back there. My boys got a basic burger built to their specifications. Child #1 is vegetarian and lucky for him, they do offer Beyond Burger patties as an option. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't too bad. Crispy coating, but I felt the chicken was a tad dry. Fortunately they had a nice sauce to compliment it. The fries were average. You can opt for a variety of dipping sauces, which is a nice touch. The service is as fast as possible for made-to-order and the prices are okay. If you're in the market and want a burger (or cheesesteak, BLT, chicken sandwich, etc.), this is a decent place to stop in.

They have ample seating and restrooms and the staff at Southside Burger were really friendly. The wings were fine, but I really loved the onion rings and the simple cheeseburger. Like there was a ACTUAL cheese pull when you bit into the burger. It was HOT and fresh when I took the wrapper off my burger; just overall, gave an actual grill taste. As other reviews stated, the business provides plastic, paper, and overall disposable utensils and plates and when I'm back at Cross Street, I know exactly where I'm going to get a burger, a beer - and probably some onion rings now, now that I know they're a fan favorite!

The location is everything! Right in downtown Baltimore's up and coming Peninsula area, directly across from the Sagamore Rye Distillery. It's a fresh, developing spot that's definitely on the rise. The exterior is sleek and minimal, but once you step inside, boom!!! It's loud, lively, and unapologetically bold. Think vibrant colors, massive wall graphics, and a staff that greets you with energy and personality. They literally call you out as you walk in and it's hilarious and welcoming. Special shoutout to Zaneka (hope I'm spelling that right!) she was amazing. Patient, fun, and super helpful with all our first-timer questions. We were the first ones at the door when they opened, so we had the place to ourselves for a bit! We wanted to try EVERYTHING, but settled on: - The infamous One Night Stand - The Slutty Chicken Caesar Wrap - Both with Slutty Fries - And of course, the Oreo Cookie Milkshake to top it off Everything was flavorful and fun, definitely a unique twist on plant-based comfort food. My only drawback on my One Night Stand was that the Baltimore locations menu indicates that they add in chili on the burger which is not indicated on the online versions of the menu. I'm not a spicy food eater and I THINK that's what put the spice in this burger, I'll have it removed when I come back, but overall everything was pretty good. We ate in so our fries were hot and extra crispy. The milkshake was on point as well. I tried the pomegranate slutty ORGANIC lemonade on the go out and I have no regrets, very robust in flavor and really good. I am definitely a fan. Will be back to try other items on the menu.
