Booked this food truck for an event and confirmed with them a few days before that they were coming and then they didn't show up for the event. No call or email to say they were not coming. If I could give zero I would.

    Wings and fries.
    Erica C.

The wings and fries were okay. Nothing stood out not even the sauces. I would not repeat my visit. I did get the salt and vinegar seasoning on my fries. It was very overpowering. It was not bad just strong. I think the chicken would have been nice had it been sauced and not had the sauces on the side. I had such high hopes for this god truck. I hoping I caught them on an off day and that they really are phenomenal any other time!

    Gristly chicken and fries

I'm sadly disappointed - generally food trucks in the area implement a fun, innovative idea you may not find at a regular brick and mortar restaurant. I thought maybe their specialty would be with their different sauces and spices. But sadly the meal was a big disappointment. I got chicken tenders and fries. My chicken was surprisingly fairly gross! It had a lot of gristle or fat, to the level that I couldn't finish it, despite the high prices. The sauces I tried also weren't good. The garlic parmesan was way too strong and sour - like an intense salad dressing. The honey mustard was mediocre (tasted like the same sauce at any old cheap chicken place). The fries were normal, and the Old Bay seasoning I got on them was tasty, but hard to ruin with a premade mix. Overall, I wouldn't order from here again.

This review is for the fries only: The fries are awesome! They have 8 flavors you can add and 10 sauces. They also have 3 specials sauces they always advertise. The fries are delicious and I love that they keep the skin on. They make them in front of you so they're always fresh and hot. The guy taking orders is always friendly. I never have a long wait.

    Wings with ranch sauce.
    Steve L.

Fantastic wings. They're seasoned with old bay (my guess) and deep fried. You're given seveal sauce choices to complement the wings. The wings are fairly big and juicy - not overcooked at all. I really liked the wings plain but I did get the ranch sauce which is your standard mass market type. 4 wings for $4.25 is a very reasonable. Definitely look forward to trying other items on the menu.

The food from this truck was really wonderful but the only draw back I had was the price vs the quantity

Chicken tenders way too salty, overcooked, and frying oil definitely spoiled/rancid. Terrible and would never order again.

I was still a little hesitant until this nice woman came along and vouched for the food. I had no idea about what to order, but as soon as I saw her food come out I was sold. I told the guys to give me exactly what she had, which included a quarter chicken, corn, and potatoes. I got back up to my office and enjoyed all of it. The chicken was well done and well seasoned, the corn was tasty, and the potatoes were better than what I was expecting. Can't really explain it but they were like roasted and mashed at the same time.. whatever it was it was great! Oh and that sweet orange sauce that they gave me took the chicken to another level. Insert fire emojis Lastly, the guys working the truck were some of the coolest food truck people that I've ever interacted with. Combine that with good food and you can def count on my coming back again.

Both times I've ordered the same thing - a quarter dark meat with one side. It comes with basmati rice (which you can sub out for a different side) and a choice of a salad, coleslaw, and corn. I've chosen the coleslaw both times - I find it so unique, with its cabbage and basil-like dressing. Definitely NOT your usual slaw. I will try the corn one of these days, though. On to the chicken - They give you a good amount of chicken and it is very, very juicy. I can't comment about the skin (I don't eat the skin, I take it off...I know to some of you that's a sin!) but my co-workers have previously commented that it is nicely seasoned. They also provide you with a mild barbeque sauce, and today they gave me a new sauce, which was curry-based. It's slightly thicker than the barbeque sauce, which while it has good flavor, is a bit thinner (it complements, not overpowers, the chicken). I alternated between both sauces today. I have to also complement the owner/manager - I had exactly $8 in cash (keep forgetting about the taxes for food trucks!) so he let me go without paying the $.80, that was really nice of him. I'll be sure to give it back to him next time! Overall, a solid, filling meal, and I would return!

Just outside the L'Enfant Plaza Metro stop (on the Maryland Ave side), you'll know you're in the right place by the crowds of Federal office workers queuing up for their favorite truck. There's a great variety from southern soul food to barbeque, from pho and banh-mi to Indonesion, from Philly cheese steaks to gyros. My daughters each had beef pho from the Pho-Nation and Vietnamese Food trucks (piping hot flavorful broth, plenty of noodles, slices of tender beef, cilantro, and accompanied with hot sauce and lime wedges on the side); my wife had the falafel salad from the Quick Bites truck which was outstandingly tasty and light, made with a chickpea and fava bean combination with a herb blend that gave them a unique green color on the inside; while I had the gyro platter from the same truck. Excellent lamb meat, well-seasoned, good tzatziki sauce, and accompanied by a fresh salad and stewed chickpeas. About $9 each for these meals and the trucks take credit cards. Don't settle for the tourist trap food trucks lined up near the Smithsonian museums -- these are terrible with microwaved pizza slices and hot dogs only ... make the short walk to these real food trucks and you won't be disappointed.

"Fine, except for this tarzan heat". He says "you like Pakistani food?" , I reply "sure, like I like my Pakistani women, scrumptuous and SPICY!" Then I realized he was the owner or something when he offered to let me taste the food before I chose wisely. They offered chicken and lamb chunks on flavorful basmatti rice or a pita. Side salad included, and everything topped with a yogurt and or spicy red sauce. I decided to go with the chicken bites and both sauces. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, but it was good.
