From the Juice Bar, a kale tonic

The First Watch chain has a great seasonal menu at any location. Today, getting on and off at the Hunt Valley exit for breakfast is easy. It was busy this late morning, but there was no wait for a table. My menu choice: The million-dollar crispy bacon my must-have side and a great compliment to my multi-grain blueberry pancake. One pancake that covers the whole plate is more than enough. The Juice Bar Kale tonic is a great healthy choice. Hunt Valley First Watch is a convenient, trendy location offering a consistent breakfast experience.

Pecan salad and monterrey (1/2 Sandwich & Salad).

Dont appreciate the 1 avocado slice they gave my in my sandwich. The greens were soggy, brown and old. I know its to go but everything was presented so horribly it looks nothing like the online photo.

Our friends asked us to meet them at First Watch. For just recently opening at this location, you would have thought they would make the restaurant a place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or lunch. Instead we immediately knew we would not be able to hear ourselves think as we walked into this open space. The host was not very welcoming - with just a matter of fact greeting, he grabbed 4 menus and led us to a table near the kitchen. I asked if we could sit somewhere quiet and his response was we would not find it in this restaurant. He suggested maybe a table near the restrooms. We chose a different table for 4 near the windows (which was slightly better for the noise, but really cold sitting next to the windows). Our server came over with the menus. The first thing I will tell you about First Watch is that this is not a calorie/nutrition friendly restaurant. You will be hard pressed to find any of their entrees with calories under 700 - most of them come in at over 1000 and that included the salads. She never introduced herself. She took our drink order and was off. When she came back with the drinks, she forgot my husband's coffee. After coming to our table at least three times after that, and long after the food was delivered, she brought the coffee. I ordered the Ham and Gruyere Melt (810 calories), it came with a choice of greens or a cup of soup. I had the greens and they were just okay - plain without any dressing. My husband asked for a side order of two eggs over medium (which were done perfectly) and Bob's Red Mill Cheesy Grits, which he said would be better with a little garlic added in. Our friends ordered the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad (790 calories) and a BLTE sandwich without the eggs and with potatoes (1120 calories). Our server never came back to see if we needed additional beverages or anything for that matter. We had to ask for more water and more diet coke. To pay the bill, my husband was directed to the cash registers next to the front door. At first, no one was there; however, one of the waitresses came over to ring out one of her customers. She then took our bill, entered the information in her register, and told my husband to use the credit card device in front. When no amount showed up, he asked the waitress, and she said no amount would show up until he tapped his card. It was then that a screen appeared asking to select a tip amount. By this time, the waitress had walked away. He had to get her attention to return and print him a receipt. Suffice it to say, we were not impressed with the restaurant, the service, or the food.

Great service and great food. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I would definitely eat here again

Fall special hash! Brussel sprout and bacon hash! This was super delicious!

Ignore the low stars! I actually don't get why the low stars. Great addition to the hunt valley food scene. We've always loved first watch and used to go to the timonium location all the time. The hunt valley location has great service and the consistent yummy food. There can be a wait, check the website and get "in line" online before you get there! Today I had one of there fall specials brussel sprout hash! Was delicious! And I like to get my eggs over medium, minus. So I like my eggs jammy. Not runny I asked the server and boy they delivered. Picture shown. Over the years I've had the lemon ricotta pancakes, the million dollar bacon the ham and guyere sandwich, the chia bowl, the avocado toast and more. I enjoy all of the dishes!! I like their speciality drinks too! My favorite is the morning meditation and the lavender butterfly pea flower! So yummy!! Do not hesitate to hit up the HV first watch for your next brunch!! Oh and they have gluten free bread!

We had a good time at Breakfast! The staff was very attentive and friendly, it was a little busy but that's normal during any breakfast rush, especially on a holiday. I ordered the summer seasonal shishito brisket hash and it was very tasty, it wasn't very heavy and had all the flavors of summer. I normally order the farmhouse hash which always hits the spot. I enjoy first watch because even when you dine in, it's quick and light. This location is very nice and bright!

I've been to this new location in Hunt Valley a few times before I decided on my rating. I will say that they are pricey for breakfast. Since when does breakfast for 2 cost you $42..And for that the food is good but not $42 good. On the last visit I had the Tri Fecta which is 2 eggs, a meat, and a waffle which was a simple breakfast and one of the least expensive for them. The waffle was not fully cooked so softer, but I like it better this way than overcooked. Eggs were eggs. And the meat was not very flavorful. My wife did try the shrimp and grits and loved.it. Plenty of grits and shrimp. The other people in my party were neutral with their meals. The chicken pesto barely had chicken or pesto in the dish. But she did say the flavors in the fish were good and fresh. And the other person had the biscuits and bland watery gravy. She said her eggs were cooked perfectly and loved the potatoes, But said it wasn't enough gravy for the meal. The waitress was nice and attentive. Friendly and helpful. Parking is a breeze at this location. The inside is open but it can get noisy inside when filled. It is very clean and lots of natural lighting. They do have a weird check out process as no one really is stationed at the check out. So when you want to pay it takes a few minutes before someone sees you and comes to assist you. I like this place. I've never had bad service. I will say the food could be more consistent. The first time I went my waffle was hard and way over cooked, but I decided to give them another try and was better the second round. It's a nice little spot to meet up for breakfast just know it's $$$ The reason I give them 4 stars is I like this place, and will be back. I like the choices they offer and I'm hoping they become more consistent with food as they grow. I hope they succeed here in hunt valley.

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

I was eager to peruse to see what tasty treat I could grab. Parking was plentiful, but busy. I suggest you go as early as possible to secure a hassle free experience parking and market wise. They have a variety of mini markets and food vendors in the building: bbq, seafood, spices, bakery, pickles items, clothing, furniture, butcher, handmade crafts, fresh made pretzels, etc. They also had an area to sit and enjoy your food purchases. We also picked up a half of a coconut cake, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, some apple butter and blackberry jam, and as we exited we got the glazed almonds and cashews. This place seems big, but it is manageable to walk around and check out all of the vendors. Upon tasting, our ribs were good: perfectly seasoned and fresh; the wings were rotisserie roasted and were good as well; the cake was just ok for us fresh with coconut flakes held on by white buttercream; the strawberry cheesecake was just ok; the glazed nuts were good as well. All in all, a nice market to visit for fresh, homemade food and unique crafts/gifts.
