From the enchiladas, to the greatest Horchata, to the family who runs this restaurant, everything about this spot is delicious and warm and welcoming! We were treated like friends sitting down for Sunday dinner. Highly recommend the verde creamy enchiladas and the Horchata (perfectly sweet and cinnamon) and want to try one of their pork chop/steak specials next time. 5 stars!!!!

Mango chipotle shrimp dish was delicious and well presented. Guacamole was a perfect starter and margaritas were on point. Lively lovely place for dinner.

OVERPRICED! BAD QUALITY FOOD! We order the Mexican chicken wings with spicy salsa! DISGUSTING!!! Dried out chicken in oversaturated nasty buffalo flavored hot sauce. The funny things is the guy that took my order bragged that all the hot sauce and salsa are made in-house.. Gross. I also ordered a $20 burriot that should have been more like $8.50. There used to be a another Mexican restaurant at the same location that was great, clearly this guy is trying to roll off there success. I will Never again order anything from this place.

Welcome Back!! The next generation of the iconic Villa del Sol is back in Westport and none too soon. Many of the items that made Villa such a stand out spot in town are still on the menu....the Chicken Mole is back....'nough said. The most important recipe to this incredibly wonderful spot is the people and they're back too. What does it say about a restaurant, their commitment to their food and to their customers when they launch in the middle of a Pandemic. We dined in and it was spectacular. The cars coming and going for take-out was unbelievable. The amazing hand-carved chairs and tables are back and it just feels like home. This family-friendly spot can still accommodate large parties and does so, as always, with a smile. They're back and continuing to grow their tradition of amazing food, great people and a love for Westport! Welcome home!!

We went as a party of 2 for an early dinner and had a choice of sitting indoor or outdoor. The restaurant hasn't changed its decor from taking senor salsa so we were greeted with familiarity. The menu isnt too big which makes it a bit easier to order. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I would definitely tell them how I like my meats cooked or else everything will come well done. All of our drinks were virgin and I promise you they tasted so good that we didn't miss this alcohol. All in all, recommend to stop by and have a meal.

Expensive and weak drinks but the guacamole and corn appetizers were good. I'll try the entrees and stick to the food next time.

Very good sauces on the enchiladas banderas. Deserves a bigger crowd than when I was there for lunch.

I still order cases of salsa shipped from Las Cruces because I've never found anything on the east coast that comes close - until now. Green Chilitos is the real thing. The tacos, the homemade salsas, the queso, the black bean dip was amazing. The guy who owns it really cares... Portions are REALLY big - like leftover lunch big and terrific. The space is small and simple - don't come here for the ambiance. but the food is really the star. One humble suggestion for GC (I decided to give it a nickname)... throw up a BYOB sign out front. This is Fairfield. We will show up with a bottle of wine faster than you can say guacamole. A sign in the window could change your business overnight. Again, awesome - you should go - or take out (but really go, and bring a bottle...)

Popular menu items include birria tacos, octopus, shrimp ceviche, and steak chimichurri. My daughter and I visited here for her birthday, and we both love Latin cuisine. As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats immediately. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant felt cold inside as well. The staff tried to warm things up with space heaters, but they didn't quite do the trick. We ordered empanadas, birria tacos, hanger steak, and sweet plantains with crema and queso fresco. When the dishes arrived, they were lukewarm--a bit disappointing, considering how cold it was outside. The birria tacos were delicious, though again, they could have been hotter. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, but I would have liked it a bit crisper. The hanger steak was tender, and the Pico de Gallo was bursting with flavor, pairing perfectly with the steak. It was nicely seasoned and had a good-sized portion. The empanadas were tasty, with flavorful and plentiful meat. The plantains were extremely delicious. The crema and queso fresco helped bring the whole dish together beautifully. The customer service was friendly, but the food could have been hotter; still, the flavors and seasonings were spot-on.

Road trip to Boston…read more.. Needless to say it was a Friday afternoon and traffic was a pain from the start. A quick little yelp search and we had an instant detour for some sustenances, while we let the other motorist continue on their way. Bodega, located in a small little shopping strip, is also small and quaint. Not much wiggle room so be prepared to be neighborly. We arrived half past 4, just in time for HH @ the bar. So we grabbed some seats at the end of the bar where Alex the bartender took care of us. We started with Passionritas (passion fruit margs) and guacamole. Both were equally delish and the guac is bowl licking worthy. However, I do not recommend since you are dinning in public. Lol. In addition we ordered the bodega blistered brussels sprouts and baja tacos to share. The sprouts were an absolute stand out. I opted for the Mexico City Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Presented slightly deconstructed, which didn't take anything away from the great taste. We had an absolute great experience from Alex our bartender whom was very impressionable to Diego (possible manager) whom also made a nice impression. We tried a few more margs before our departure. With the hibiscus being one of my faves. A wonderful spontaneous detour, that will now be a welcomed stop on future road strips north. Just A Note: - HH @ the Bar only (Tues-Fri 4-6pm) - You can take Bodegaritas to-go they have them bottled for sale.

The food and drinks were good, but the experience afterward left a bad impression. While we were eating, a server came by and separated the tables. Near the end of our meal someone who seemed to be in charge asked if I wanted to finish my drink at the bar. It felt like we were being rushed out after a larger party came in. What made it more frustrating was that other tables with the same amount of seating, including a single person at a 4-seat table, were not approached or treated the same way.
