Great time for Cinco de Mayo! My husband and I really enjoyed our first time experience here. The drinks were well balanced & delicious and we liked the guacamole, corn & both tacos we ordered (carnitas & chicken). Service was friendly & prompt. Looking forward to a return visit.

Started off with a michelada and guacamole. This might be my first time having mint in guac. Pretty sure that's what I tasted. I was blown away by the halibut tacos. You're served a whole filet and you can make your own tacos, plenty of sides come with it. The filet is killer and it's a great feeling seeing and tasting top quality fish. I'd come back.

We celebrated our early Valentine's Day date night at Don Memo and it met every expectation we had. We were blown away by the freshness of all of the ingredients in both the cocktails and food. The beet and avocado salad was a unique but delightful flavor and texture combination that was topped with tahini, pistachio, and fresh mint. We won't be able to go back without ordering the chaquiles verdes as they were perfectly lightly fried and topped with a blanket of crema. The main events were our Milanesa de pollo and chorizo rojo sandwiches ...you can't go wrong with ordering either one! Each sandwich is unique in itself and you can't normally order at any other Mexican restaurant or deli. We look forward to returning to further explore more menu offerings in addition to their new brunch menu!

This is a good spot ! Staff was welcoming and pleasant. Alright so for starters I had the cucumbers which were very refreshing Esquites was also apart of the spread and it was soooo good! Best I have had yet. . For my main dish I chose the the chicken sandwich which was amazing. The sandwich was beyond fresh. I had a good time for a dine in for 1. I also had a drink which was super tasty and refreshing as well . Hope you enjoy!

Adorable decor inside, food is a little overpriced but fair quality. I would be very interested in the drinks here Bc the drink menu looked amazing. Great date spot. Outdoor tent looked warm and inviting

Wanted to love this place because I'm a huge fan of its sister restaurant Kawa Ni, but sadly left my dinner here feeling super disappointed. They were out of the yellowtail aguachile so per our servers recommendation we opted for the shrimp ceviche. When it came out, it looked beautiful, but as soon as I tried cutting into the shrimp I knew something was wrong. After closer inspection it was clear that the shrimp was completely raw -- obviously I know that ceviche is made with raw fish, but the shrimp is supposed to be soaked in lime juice or other acid to "cook" it before it's safe to eat. This was not the case here, the shrimp was a deep grey color and a slimy consistency...we would have gotten food poisoning if we ate it. At $26 for the dish it was just really not cool. Won't be returning here :(

So many great dishes on the menu!

    How's the guac?

Not bad but also not the greatest. Nice and chunky but lacking in flavor IMO.

Their classic margarita never disappoints (with Tajín on the rim, of course), and the tacos are consistently flavorful and fresh. I almost always start with the plantains and chips with guacamole, which make the perfect shareable appetizer. There's truly something for everyone, even for those who wouldn't typically gravitate towards Mexican-inspired cuisine. That said, the service has become a bit hit-or-miss in recent visits. They are an extremely busy location so I understand the hustle. I was happy to see they brought back the traditional table-side ordering after a period of having customers place orders exclusively through their phones. The current hybrid approach is a much better. You get the more personal and professional experience of ordering with a server, while still having the option to pay or place additional orders through your phone if needed. Despite a few service inconsistencies, I'll definitely be back for another margarita and taco night soon!

Bartaco's atmosphere is casual and light. Service is friendly. We didn't join the wait list for a table in advance and so the wait time would have been about 30 mins. We opted to eat at the bar, which offers full service. Bartaco definitely caters to a college-aged crowd, but the tacos are fresh and delicious. Here's how ordering works: You check off the items your whole party wishes to order on a slip of paper and give it to your server. My favorite was the crispy oyster taco, which features two fried oysters served with a remoulade and topped with a yummy lemon parsley slaw. The carne asada taco was also a hit and the cilantro popped as it was super fresh.

Popular menu items include birria tacos, octopus, shrimp ceviche, and steak chimichurri. My daughter and I visited here for her birthday, and we both love Latin cuisine. As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats immediately. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant felt cold inside as well. The staff tried to warm things up with space heaters, but they didn't quite do the trick. We ordered empanadas, birria tacos, hanger steak, and sweet plantains with crema and queso fresco. When the dishes arrived, they were lukewarm--a bit disappointing, considering how cold it was outside. The birria tacos were delicious, though again, they could have been hotter. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, but I would have liked it a bit crisper. The hanger steak was tender, and the Pico de Gallo was bursting with flavor, pairing perfectly with the steak. It was nicely seasoned and had a good-sized portion. The empanadas were tasty, with flavorful and plentiful meat. The plantains were extremely delicious. The crema and queso fresco helped bring the whole dish together beautifully. The customer service was friendly, but the food could have been hotter; still, the flavors and seasonings were spot-on.

Highly recommend each of these: Bodegarita - Cazadores, luxardo triplum, lime juice, agave...this is their classic marg. Nice balance, well mixed. Bodega Original Guacamole...fantastic. Basic in a good way. Very avocado forward. Not over-salted. The chips were fresh and not salty..again in a really good way. I did ask for a few lime wedges to add a little juice, but the guac was excellent. Pork Carnitas - Crispy potatoes, onion, serrano-avocado crema, cilantro...very good. Americano - Seasoned ground beef, manchego cheese, salsa de russa, crispy taco...kinda unique. A little like a big mac meets a taco. Unexpected but very glad I tired. Gambas - Seared ancho chili shrimp, cucumber-mango salsa, chipotle mayo...my favorite one. 5-start taco. Chicken Tinga - Tomato braised chicken, cotija cheese, mexican crema...excellent as well. Service was very good. Attentive, prompt and gave good/accurate recommendations. Didn't laugh at all my jokes. That's ok- few do. Set back from the Post Road, I must have driven passed here a million times. Unassuming storefront. Cozy spot. 5 table tops and 5-ish tables. A nice bar w/ excellent tequila options. The decor matches the food and experience if that makes sense. No brainer 5 stars from me. I'll be back and I'll certainly recommend.

Road trip to Boston…read more.. Needless to say it was a Friday afternoon and traffic was a pain from the start. A quick little yelp search and we had an instant detour for some sustenances, while we let the other motorist continue on their way. Bodega, located in a small little shopping strip, is also small and quaint. Not much wiggle room so be prepared to be neighborly. We arrived half past 4, just in time for HH @ the bar. So we grabbed some seats at the end of the bar where Alex the bartender took care of us. We started with Passionritas (passion fruit margs) and guacamole. Both were equally delish and the guac is bowl licking worthy. However, I do not recommend since you are dinning in public. Lol. In addition we ordered the bodega blistered brussels sprouts and baja tacos to share. The sprouts were an absolute stand out. I opted for the Mexico City Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Presented slightly deconstructed, which didn't take anything away from the great taste. We had an absolute great experience from Alex our bartender whom was very impressionable to Diego (possible manager) whom also made a nice impression. We tried a few more margs before our departure. With the hibiscus being one of my faves. A wonderful spontaneous detour, that will now be a welcomed stop on future road strips north. Just A Note: - HH @ the Bar only (Tues-Fri 4-6pm) - You can take Bodegaritas to-go they have them bottled for sale.
