Art is friendly, experienced, and his instant familiarity with the error code made me confident he could complete the job. And the total repair cost was a (tiny) fraction of the dealership estimate. Art mentioned the job was a little more complicated than he first thought but he still only charged his original estimate because that is how he operates. Uncommon and refreshing ethic. I am sick and tired of the dealership's practice of charging $199 to diagnose a check engine light. Even though they would apply that $199 to the repair job if I opted to have them complete the repair, I wrote it off and still came out WAY AHEAD by taking the vehicle to Art's instead.

At the advice of AM Auto, I am now currently back at the previous shop that did my alignment to hopefully get the issue addressed and fixed. Super grateful that the AM Auto guys helped me find out what was wrong and had me take video evidence to show the other place exactly what was wrong. They could have easily suggested unnecessary repairs, but they didn't--and that says everything about their integrity.
