I highly recommend Best Lube! Javier has helped me with multiple vehicles over the years, including my daughter's car, and I've always had a great experience. For example, when her car suddenly started overheating, they quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and had it repaired the same day so she could get back on the road safely. They're fast, reliable, efficient, and do quality work at very reasonable prices. It's hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, and I'm so grateful to have an amazing shop close to home. Great customer service and dependable work every time! read more

Not recommended for change oil or car repair. Change oil is OK, but car repair? Don't even try because their mechanics are blatantly dishonest and one time stole my K&N cabin filter and replaced it with a cheap one made of cardboard They ruined my car engine which cost me $3,000 to repair because they didn't follow instruction properly on how to apply a head gasket sealer. They also recommended that I change spark plugs and coils which was totally unrelated to my car problem of blown head gasket. I filed a formal complaint against this shop with the state agency, Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and BAR ordered the rude and arrogant owner named David to refund me $900 for repairs and labor that they recommended but was deemed by BAR as unnecessary and totally unrelated to my car problem. The owner refused to refund me the $900 as recommended by BAR unless I remove the first 1-star review I did on this shop. Avoid bringing your car to this shop. Totally and blatantly dishonest! read more

if i could give this business 0 stars, i would, they do not take accountability when they service a car wrong, took car in for service and they did not put everything back the way it was and when we took the car back, "owner" refused to fix issue read more

just got my oil change on my Sequoia. These guys are fast and top notch. 8 liters full synthetic. Great price for the work. I'll be bringing my cars here from now on. Thanks a lot guys!! read more

Today, I had oil change (good job) but at the end they tried to upsell me "your transmission oil is dirty" cost to replace $189. That was based on published rports of Honda dealerships. They looked up and said "you had transmission fluid replace in Nov-2018 at Norm Reeves. But, they didn't have record of another replacement event at 100k miles. I came home and checked Honda-Odyssey manual and it says "you replce Transmission Oil when maintenance A3 code is displayed on your dashboard". Also, I checked the oil level and quality as per Honda manual instructions; the level is good and oil looks like new (no discoloration, no sediments). Bottomline: Don't fall for this type of upsell; Best Lube has some dishonest practices just like any other mom & pop shop. I've been a loyal customer for the past 6-years; it's time to find an alternative. read more

I come here for all my mechanical needs! The staff is super friendly and they get the job done quick. The prices are good too! I absolutely love coming here because you come in for a simple oil change but they go above and beyond and check your whole car (for free) and tell you what you will need or need at that moment and have how much it'll cost too. They take such great care of my car and they're always looking out for me. I appreciate the staff so much and will always come here. read more

Stopped in for an oil change on my way to work. The place was busy and they told me to wait 10 minutes but unlike most places - it was truly only a 10 minute wait. They got me in and no more then 20 minutes later I was on my way. The guys work hard and are very friendly. The price for the oil change was very reasonable too. Thank you! read more

I brought in my wife's Dodge Durango for a tune-up. Israel and his team were totally professional and very attentive to our needs. Cost was very reasonable compared to the dealer price for the same work. I left my car and within a couple of hours, Israel called me and said our car was ready. Great workmanship and timely. I highly recommend this business. read more

I've been coming here for 2 years (I know this because they just pointed out the date on my air filter), I wouldn't go anywhere else; here's why: 1. Lowest price, $25 for most makes unless you want a semi or full synthetic. 2. Fast, even when they are busy I've never waited more than 10 minutes. 3. Honest, they never try to up-sell you, I needed an air filter today; they could of tried to sell me a more expensive filter but they said it wasn't necessary and they would have more next week. 4. Friendly, the guys in the pit may be having a bad day rarely but the supervisor is always on top of things and he's knowledgeable; you can ask him other stuff about you car while you wait. There is a small shop on the premises (brakes and alignments), I talked to one of the mechanics there about some tie-rod issues and he referred me to a place down the road; because while they do that kind of work they don't cover the diagnostics side of it. Turns out I only needed one tie-rod which saved me money and so far I'm very happy with the place he referred me to. read more

Always friendly clean helpful and cheap plus professional. My to go place for all my car needs

This is the only place I take my car to get an oil change ! They are so quick ! They are very nice as well . I've only ever seen about 2 cars ahead of me because they get in and get out! Never a long wait I love it . read more

You have one job and you can't get it right . IF YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR ENGINE BURNING BRING IT HERE . Will not go back . They are sloppy , I'm not sure if they changed workers. I had to return twice to stop the oil from leaking . They pulled out and the car was dripping of oil . They said it spilled onto skid plate . They cleaned it up and it was still leaking from oil filter . Also they have no clue how much to oil to put in your car . They only put 5 quarts when it takes 7 . To top it off my skid Plate fell off . read more

Long over due sorry Javier ... I'm not talking about the oil change place next door cause I believe they share the same company name ... Javier and his team don't do oil changes but more serious mechanical issues ... this guy is cool, honest and fair ... I have taken my car to him for some work and he did an awesome job ... done right the first time .. I never had to bring it back ... he will take the time and show you on the computer what the work entails and how long it will take ... Finding a great mechanic is pretty difficult ... Thanks Javier read more

Dropped off her car to get a oil change! Uber to a appointment! Came back after 2 hours! Mind you they said it would be ready in 45 minutes. The owner or the manager is rude af!! The workers are good and polite, but the little shrimp Asian guy Needs a lesson or two on customer service. read more

I've been coming to this place for many years for oil changes, and today was a little different service. I pulled up and the manager with a clipboard pointed to a parking spot so I parked, I patiently waited 10 minutes and then he started taking customers that arrived after me... I caught his attention and he just looked right through me. I'm not exactly sure why, but I don't know anybody that would be OK with this kind of customer service There's a lot of other places around Covina to get my oil changed read more

First time here. I pull up and i wait to get serviced. I wait.. I wait. There are 2 people in front of me. The worker looks at me 4 times as i waited for (HIS) time to give me the attention needed for service. I dont know what he is supposed to be doing. So i wait and wait. This cute lady pulls up and doesnt even get off the car before this dude runs to her and asks her what she would like. I wait and wait. I said "hey brother" as he passed me by. He looked at me and turned away. So i wait and wait. They are working on 1 car. And there are two employees. The asian gentleman in believe is the owner but he was in the back in a room I dont know what he was doing. But then the employee. Brings out his pack of peanuts and starts roaming around the parking lot. So I wait and wait. 2 more cars show up all women and he assists them. Mind you im standing right in front of the shop waiting for help. My truck is right in front and the employee guides the lady after me to pull in. I was like what? I said excuse me. He looked at me while eating his peanuts and spoke in spanish and said "que guey" I know spanish that means "what idiot" I said I was here before her. He just turned around and walked away. He then went to a lady behind me and asked if she can turn her car off. She disagreed and left. The guy working on. The one car pops his head out from the dungeon hes in and asks the Co worker in spanish "did the b**** get mad cause you told her to turn her car off?" The other guy said "yeah, shes tight though" the other guy said "dont trip well get some p**** soon, one of them will give it up." I had to leave. I left with out trying anymore for 20 minutes. All that happened. Horrible horrible people. read more

Horrible service, Waaaay Overcharged my wife for services that she was not aware of and did not sign for. I have been coming to Best Lube since i had my first car. This place is super convenient for oil changes, transmission services and and fuel injection services. The owner and staff are super cool and always do a great job on my car. They'll never really press any of their additional services on you either. They'll assess issues and just advise you. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a super cheap and fast oil change and any of the services offered. read more
