Great service and great food. We got the Chicken n Waffles, Shrimp n Grits, and La Hola. Everything was delicious and the staff was awesome. If you get Zack he will definitely take care of you. We had a party of 9 and were seated in 25-30 minutes on a very busy Sunday. Great expierience! read more

Went here not knowing what to expect but heard great things. Ordered the jasmine berry iced tea and it was amazing! Food was great and so was the dessert! Had a great server who made the experience awesome as well. read more

Had lunch here and had a great time. Food was simple and portions were large, perfectly executed. Next time I'll try the Fried Chicken when I have back up to help eat it. read more

If you are very hungry and you want to bring home food the eat for the next few days go here! The portions are so mammoth that it's almost gross. This place uses a very old fashioned style of up north white people food with very little taste. It's 100% americano. The food is very dry and bland. It's the exact opposite of first watch if that tells you anything. For the people that don't understand quality flavorful well proportioned food like truckers and boring white folks that are stuck in the 70's you will probably say this place is the best place on earth but if you are health conscious forget about it. They should give awards to anyone who actually finishes their dish lol and don't leave the left overs in the car or on the hood. read more

Not a bad spot. The store itself is smaller than I anticipated. Good food. The chicken and waffles portion is massive. Mimosas are yummy. I got a BLT but the bread was burnt. Otherwise it was delish. The strawberry butter tastes like strawberry ice cream. Friendly wait staff. read more

EXCELLENT FOOD! Best staff in the business that treat you like family. Being from NY & NJ area we know good food, Metro is among the best! From comfort food to healthier meals that have it all. Great atmosphere and super clean! Mike S. read more

Amazing food! I would highly recommend for breakfast. The service was really good as well. I had stuffed French toast and it was decadent.

I ordered takeout on 9-4-21. Belgium waffle, southwestern omelette and a southwestern pressed waffle. All three were delicious and ready when stated. I would recommend. read more

I dined here this morning with three other ladies. The food was amazing! I had a Belgium waffle with turkey sausage (Yes! Girlllllll they have turkey sausage ). Valerie was our server and she was amazing! I asked that my waffle be made a little crispy but not burned and it was perfect. One of the ladies with me ordered a BLT and it looked like it came out of a magazine. Everybody's food was perfect! The manager came to the table multiple times to make sure everything was good. They even have a greater at the door. It's very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I'll surely come back. read more

We were so glad that a Metro Diner opened in our community.. We've been to another location in St Petersburg and fell in love with everything metro has to offer.. The chicken and waffles were the best I've ever had.. Mom loved the Ruben .. It was later in the night so we felt a bit rushed not their fault.. we're going to go back and try it again.. my only issue is sweeping around the tables while we were eating.. again we were the last of two tables for the night .. read more

Had breakfast for dinner one night and our server ethan was the absolute best. going back soon fosho

Metro Diner is pretty good. The food is a little salty. Very filling. It's good but not amazing. All the waitstaff are really nice. Get there early or in the morning. read more

What a budget friendly find!! Prices were on point and good was DELICIOUS Great location to retail shopping and the beach.

Food was great. But omg the calories posted with food options changed what I wanted to eat. I was glad that it was posted. If you are on a diet. This place is not for you. But the taste was great. read more

Was passing by for business in Melbourne and came across the Metro Diner. I first went to this restaurant in the Richmond Virginia area. I have to say that I was VERY surprised to see that they set up shop in Melbourne. Brevard has seriously gone up-town with this franchise operation. The food is FANTASTIC, my favorite is the fried chicken and waffles. These folks are going to be VERY successful here, a MUST try! read more

I'm not one to leave reviews but this place deserves it. Fire !!! I got the chicken n waffles ... bomb. My husband got the cinnamon pancakes... BOMB. so glad I found this place ... I'll be back & brining friends. MUST TRY. read more

Saw this place while actually on the way to get ice cream 2 doors down, but decided to eat dinner here instead because the signs on the outside looked interesting. I got the chicken & waffles and my husband got the biscuits and gravy. Best chicken and waffles I've ever had, the chicken was crunchy and juicy and came with a side of "sweet and spicy" sauce that tasted like a spicy syrup. The waffles came with a strawberry butter that was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were also delicious, and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. This place is great. HIGHLY recommend! read more

Metro Diner - Chicken & waffles and the biscuits and gravy, DELICIOUS! - Diners Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

I like the food here. And the service was fast and efficient. They offer homestyle meal combinations ... just like mom used to make. I had the meatloaf, and I thought it was delicious. Lots of great menu items to choose from. Come prepared to wait 20-30 minutes on a weekend morning and most evenings. But I think it's worth the wait. read more

This is probably my favorite dinners thus far, everyone is so welcoming and the food is outstanding. My boyfriend and I shared a evening there this past Sunday. The dish that knocked me off my feet was the pulled pork and mac, if that Doesn't sound good enough they add a soft Belgium waffle on the side topped with cinnamon butter, so delicious. We had to thank the owner Ashley, she personally came over to our table and was so polite and appreciative. Also the host for the evening was Willie super attentive and his socialism was remarkable. There is nothing like good hospitality, and that was definitely given 100% this was our second visit and it seems like the food keeps getting better, this is our NEW weekend splurge comfort dinner. read more

My daughter and I went after the dinner rush on a Friday night and it was great! The vibe was fun and the food was amazing. I can only imagine how busy it will be on Sat and Sun mornings. If local, you have to check this diner out. read more

Excellent food and service. Great comfort food diner and breakfast spot. It's a new restaurant so expect to wait 15-20 minutes for seating; they're always busy. This makes the speed and consistency of their service even more incredible. Manager was sure to check on us and the rest of the guests. This will be a new favorite for us. read more

Walked into a packed diner and we were seated in minutes. Janna was an awesome server and kept the drinks coming. The chicken and waffles with strawberry butter were delish. The cornbread waffles with maple butter were divine. The meatloaf was moist and tasty, next time we would skip the brown gravy. We were too full to try dessert, but we will be back. The food was great but the service will keep us coming back. Updated 1/19/19 - We have eaten here multiple time and each time has been just as great as the first. This morning we wanted breakfast before heading to the airport in Orlando. Mike took great care of us, and literally had food on our table in under 10 minutes. We were able to eat some delicious food and get on the road in time to get to the airport. We also highly recommend the spicy chicken biscuit. read more

It's good diner food. I've been a few times and it is consistent. Don't expect fancy sauces - just fresh made eggs, potatoes, sandwiches etc. I had the white meat chicken salad and was pleased. Not too mayonnaisy and somewhat healthy. Not too many healthy options but hey, it's a diner. I'll be back many more times. read more

Doesn't look much from the road but totally worth it!! Service was wonderful- happy employees and make you feel welcome. Very clean (a big thing for me!) Food was great- cooked exactly as ordered. Will definitely be going back! read more

I have been to this Diner a number of times. I've had good food and prompt service on all occasions but one. We went as a family of four, two kiddos under 5 years old. For whatever reason, the kitchen was backed up and food was not coming out for anyone. Our waiter did a good job of getting the kids food first and ours came shortly thereafter. That's the worst thing I can say, they get busy at times but usually get food moving quickly. Breakfast food is good, burgers are great. And we've had a couple of appetizers too. All around good food and friendly service. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

This is the spot to go for fantastic food. A Brunch Bonanza. The staff is apparently sincere and down to earth. Try everything except for the classic pancakes. Be ready for a wait that is definitely worth it. A great find in a see of over the top high promising but low reward brunch spots. read more

Came by with limited time to have breakfast with the family. We enjoyed good food, fast and courteous service and very reasonable prices. Zak made a delicious not-on-the-menu iced coffee. Well recommend. read more

I went 12/31 for a take out order and as always the food was amazing, what ruined the experience for me was when waitress Casey got really fresh with the hostess. The hostess was explaining why someone was seated where they were and Casey informed her that if they're busy they just tell the patrons to seat themselves! It was just really rude to speak to someone in front of customers the way she did. read more

Really enjoy a good meal there. Friendly staff, large portions and excellent service. Light on spices so ask for more. Dessert is so so good! read more

Great service, good menu so there's something for everyone. Food was good and what you would expect from a diner. Overall, great experience!

Always a great choice, this location is no exception. The food was great, service was fast and friendly and the manager even came over to say hello. Very nice addition to the area. read more

You must have the chicken pot pie! The service is good and my kids liked it. That is always a good thing!

This place was great. Went in with a friend for breakfast and had a fantastic experience for start to finish.

A quality Diner! Just went to this new diner and I was impressed. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served all day. I had the San Francisco Eggs Benedict. It's a regular Benedict with avocado and tomato added. Served with crisp hash browns. Others had the Chicken Pot Pie, loaded with chicken and veggies topped with a crisp pastry. When you go, sit facing the kitchen, you will love watching the action. It is controlled chaos, that Gordon Ramsey would approve! Can't wait to go back. The service always outstanding; when they take your order at the table they key it in to an iPad device and before you know it... your food is delivered to the table! Quick friendly service!! You will like this diner! read more

This Diner is on point staying true to the traditional diner theme from ambiance down to meal selection. On this trip we enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles, squash & zucchini, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese. Service was Top Notch as Lauren was very attentive and great as she clearly knew how to talk to the kids and make them feel as if they were in moms kitchen. read more

Went today with my teenage kids. First we weren't greeted at all when we walked in and it wasn't busy at all (around 8:30am). We sat ourselves. Waitress came by about 5 minutes later and put placemats and utensils down then walked away for another 5 minutes before taking our beverage order. Waitress was very nice. fruity waffle was good, chicken and waffle was very good. Biscuits and gravy meal was very big and not appealing to look at but my kids liked it. Hash browns were bland and under-cooked. Iced coffee was AWFUL. Tasted like old coffee grinds and it had just been brewed hot. Maybe they don't get a lot of people who order iced coffee? Overall just average read more

Out of Towner looking for a great late breakfast early lunch spot found this gem. Breakfast was varied, sweet driven specials with a cinnamon nut coffee that hit the spot. The pancakes were the downside of the experience but everything else exceeded expectations. The wait was manageable as it seems to be a popular place, the staff moved as a well oiled machine to get everyone through. An open kitchen added to the atmosphere. Easy recommendation to anyone. read more

Great food, friendly service, coffee cups filled to the brim! Our first visit but definitely not the last!!
