The vehicle only had minor rear bumper damage. Nobody gave me an actual pickup time, and when the black "Little V" tow truck showed up, the female driver dragged my vehicle across my paver driveway, leaving drag marks, oil stains, and damage to a light fixture and a small brick wall. I have it recorded on camera. The driver did not even have the keys to my vehicle. I still have them. I reported everything to Copart Phoenix and spoke with "Manager Victoria," who said I would get a callback. That never happened. After multiple calls and dealing with their useless automated system, I am now being told Victoria no longer works there. No follow-up, no accountability, no effort to make this right. My vehicle had minor damage. Copart's tow company caused damage to my property and then Copart acted like it was not their problem. Absolutely unacceptable.

They were happy to assist and didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience. They truly made me feel like a valued customer. Same quality experience upon picking up of my item. I bought a vehicle during covid through their online only auction. You can still preview in person but the vehicles are locked, they don't hand out keys, and you CAN NOT start the vehicles / check for codes, nosies, etc. They do leave the driver side window cracked so you can smell for odors / smoke. This particular vehicle I bought sight unseen other than the photos and description online. The photos were accurate and they did an awesome job detailing the truck. Now some advise, 1. don't bid on a vehicle without expecting to put money into it, these are used vehicles and they are at auction for a reason. 2. Set a max budget and stick to it. (Make sure you calculate the buyers fee AND sales tax into your price. 3. Understand they sell vehicles from many sources, consider the source of the vehicle and why it may be there. 4. I strongly recommend previewing the car in person before bidding, at least check for tire wear, leaks, missing components (spare, etc). 5. Run a vehicle history report. If you stick to these guidelines you will have a great experience and mitigate your risk. There is the potential for some great deals.
