Bought a car from Anthony that he portrayed as his personal one owner vehicle. Upon my investigation I discovered that he is in fact, a dealer "value Price Auto". We met him at the Subway parking lot, that later I found out was about 150 yards from his used car lot that I have no idea was him. the car was titled in someone else's name that we never even met. He advised me that he was in the pool business, when asked what he did for a living, which was completely untrue. I was assured to get service records of the car from his mechanic and other parts that were supposedly in a garage. I never received anything, and he has gone dark on me with no communication at all. I feel as if I have been scammed by him and his wife or girlfriend named "Jennifer Ann". The one time he did call me back, he told me to "back off" and not call him or his mechanic. I would beware of buying a car from these people. Very little of what they told me turned out to be true. read more

They do not stand by their vehicles. They do not return calls or emails. They are very untrustworthy. Be careful! They sold me a vehicle they knew would not pass emissions and disconnected the check engine light. It was not until I tried to register the vehicle that I found out about their fraud. It was too late. Now I have a vehicle that can't pass smog without $2500.00 in repairs. read more

Sold me a car and the transmission broke 8 days later. Tony doesnt stand by his word or his own warranties. He just stood in his junkyard and yelled about his mom until we left. I wouldnt recommend anybody give these people money. He wont help you, they're not good people. read more

I would give a 0 rating if I could. This this what I write on their business Facebook page, but Anthony Flores - owner has since deleted. He threatened to sue me & produce the receipt we have asked for numerous times. Buyer BEWARE! My 17 year old daughter purchased a used Passat from here in May of this year. She saved for a very long time to purchase a car. When she purchased the car there were many small things wrong with the car that we were aware of & in my opinion should have been taken care of, but weren't. In addition to the small issues Value Price Auto promised my daughter that they would fix a couple of larger issues - the message center (computer) which randomly flashed messages like the door is open when wasn't, etc , speedometer did not work, the front right passenger door to include the lock & window also did not work. Also promised was to repair the front passenger door mirror that did not work for a fee of $60. After purchasing the car we brought the car back & left it with them for an entire week. When she got her car back nothing had been repaired. My husband & daughter contacted Jennifer with no response. We have texts to prove exactly what was promised. In addition, Jennifer said in WRITING the week they had the car they took it to the Volkswagen dealership. We have asked for paperwork numerous times and again no response. Also, while they had her car the owners manual was taken along with her proof of insurance & temporary registration. Again, We reached out as well as her father to Jennifer & no response. We just got the car back from our mechanic and what he told us was quite disturbing. The front passenger door where the majority of the work was supposed to be done looked like someone took it apart & then shoved it back in. Our mechanic had to go through the mess & figure out the problem which was a broken wire. By replacing the wire the door now locks & the mirror works. The message center still has random messages & speedometer does NOT work. The price for the labor & wire repair was $200. I reached out to Jennifer telling her that she owned our daughter the money she paid to have this fixed & offered the receipt & they also still need to have the message center fixed AS PROMISED or we can have it fixed & they reimburse us. Again, we have proof of all that was promised from Value Price Auto. My husband & I are small business owners & we would never treat people the way we have been treated. All we are asking is they they do what they promised they would do. If they did have the repair done we just are asking for the paperwork. Next step is contacting local media so everyone can have a heads up on how Value Priced Auto conducts their business. We've already reported them to the Attorney General & BBB. read more

Cars were in very poor condition and covered in rust, most of the interiors were damaged and several cars had oil stains underneath them. Seems like they don't care about the condition the cars are in and are just looking to make a quick buck as they could put just a bit of effort into presentation and at least make some attempt to get their product into reasonable condition. They also are bribing people into leaving 5 star reviews by saying they'll pay for your first oil change if you leave one. read more

I had a pretty intense experience. My dad also posted a review, but I also want to give my side. My dad responded to a Craigslist ad where someone was selling a vehicle as a "private seller". My dad went one day to go and look at it. It ended up being at a car lot and my dad was confused, but the guy whose name is Angel told my dad that it was his own vehicle and he just works at the dealership. He then tried to make it seem like he was a good Christian man so that my dad would like him even more and trust him. My dad gave an offer to the vehicle and Angel had to call his brother who is the owner of the dealership to see if the offer was okay. My dad thought that it was very odd that he had to ask his brother on the price when it is supposed to be his vehicle. Anyways, my dad came a few days later to sell his vehicle to a dealership. He went to his bank and got a cashier's check certified for the new vehicle he was going to get. He sold his vehicle and Angel was nice enough to come pick us up at the dealership, but then we had to go to his credit union because he said he needed to sort some things out "real quick". A red flag for me was that he didn't even know where the credit union was and my dad had to tell him where to go which is very strange. When we got to the credit union, they said my dad's cashier's check wasn't good and wouldn't accept it that day. On the Craigslist ad, it said clean title but apparently there was a lien on it. Also, my dad saw the title at the credit union and saw that it was in Angel's brother's name who owns the dealership! The credit union wouldn't release the lien the same day and said it would take a few days for everything to get situated. Angel told my dad that the vehicle was going to be his that day and had some quick things to take care of, but the credit union was not wanting to do the deal that day unless my dad brings the full cash in with him. Angel knew my dad would have a cashier's check and didn't even know about his own credit union's policy on cashier's checks and liens. That just shows that it wasn't really his credit union, it was his brother's. Anyways, my dad was not getting the cash because we were in Central Phoenix with someone we hardly knew, so in order to get the deal done that day, we had to put our lives in danger. My dad started thinking about what was going on and that the credit union was trying to pull some shady things on him along with Angel and the dealership. My dad called the deal off which caused Angel to get really mad. He said my dad was being rude, and had problems being angry. How do you expect my dad to feel? He sold his vehicle so we didn't have a ride, was told his cashier's check wasn't good enough, wasn't going to get the deal done that day and wouldn't have a vehicle, and also got lied to. My dad got upset at him but then Angel started cussing at my dad and told my dad to get the rest of my stuff from the trunk. I was staying at my grandma's and got picked up that day, so I had my stuff with me. Well when my dad and I got my stuff out of the vehicle, Angel sped off leaving us stranded in Phoenix with all of my belongings. He also took off with my dad's old license plate because he wouldn't let my dad in the vehicle to get it. Part of it was our mistake for selling our vehicle before getting the new one but you wouldn't think someone would just leave you in the heat in Phoenix with all of your stuff like that. I am also only 16 years old and you are going to do that to my dad and I just because my dad didn't fall for the scam, and was smart and called the deal off. They are scam artists which is probably why he said those things, and did what he did. They don't care, they just want to successfully scam you for your money and have to be very dishonest in the process. read more

I had a bad feeling right away. Replied to a craigslist ad and got little feedback like it was a scam or something. Turns out it was the manager or owner I was talking too. He was very hesistant about giving a time to show it and where. Then he tells me he's a dealer, so why the sketchy attitude ? turns out the car was available to show anytime. The saleman were great, the manager/owner was an A**HOLE. Rude with a "dont waste my time" attitude. The car needed 2 tires just so it wouldnt shake/pull going down the road. I said just put 2 tires on it so I know it drives ok and put the old ones back on and I will buy it. He said ... NO.. buy it first then I will put different tires on it and if you have a problem bring it back. Ya see, that way he can say, sold as is pal. Dont you think the next sucker to look at this car wants it to drive straight ? Don't be played by this A**HOLE. Bad enough I was looking at a car the previous owner roasted the tires on I really would have hated supporting this guy after how he made me feel. read more
