When shopping online and picking up from this location, plan accordingly or just plan for traffic!!! A lot of the traffic for pickup or return can go all the way back to Buckeye Road. Definitely try to avoid Fridays as my last 2 trips were extremely long lines of car. Despite the traffic, when you do get in the lot and park, the staff is always friendly and they work really hard to get your items to you quickly. I have yet to have any issues with picking up or returning. Nellis return process is also easy so if you get something and need to return, it's no issue to do online. Just time it when you're picking something else up, or do like me and a few others, group pickup... just provide their phone and names or have them add your name to the order. read more

My first time using "nellis auction" and most likely my last. A friend told me about so i decided to try it. As a first time user they gave me a10$ store credit. I was looking for a "fandelier", they had one listed as new. so i put in my max bid. I won. when picking up the item the worker advised me to "check your item now because the site lists items as new when they are used don't work or missing parts". Hard to check a ceiling fan when you need to assemble it.They also informed me about the return policy of 7 days. At home and assembling the fan it didn't work and the parts showed it had been used. Listed as New? I just found the same fan on temu. Yes it costs a little more but it is new, delivered to my door and a year warranty. I value my time and resources. I won't be trying the "nellis" prediction auctions again. read more

The good, you can find good bargains if you pay attention. The employees are always trying their best, even in the extreme Phoenix heat. The bad - I generally schedule PU for 9:30am and it's been quick and easy. Today and the last time I went in the afternoon, the line for cars waiting to get in was stretched all the way to Buckeye, and backed up on the road, effecting semi's driving east bound since there isn't a right hand turn lane to go south on 40th Ave. Also, folks traveling west on Buckeye waiting from the left hand turn lane were 15 or more cars deep. It's a serious accident waiting yo happen and will likely be addressed by Phoenix Police. It took me 15 min to get off Buckeye and into a parking spot, then another 10 for someone to actually check me in. And I had to get out of my vehicle to find someone to check me in. Be careful, as they consistently misrepresent the products they sale. They call it a mis-discription which means they didn't thoroughly inspect the item they sold. If you don't inspect it within 7 days your screwed. Bought a camp kitchen that they stated "no missing parts" . But it required assembly and when I had the opportunity to get to it discovered it was missing parts. And they said too bad missed the 7 day return window. Typically I do check the items before I leave the parking lot but as I said it required assembly so it wasn't possible with this item. But this was not the first time they "misdescribed" items 3 out of the last 5 items I've purchased was not as they stated. Was very excited about my purchases until I received them. Bought a fryer that said no parts were missing, the power cord is missing. I saw a power cord in the box but I didn't set the fryer fully up. It was day 7 when I discovered this, I emailed them, according to them it's my fault for not doing their paid employees job and that they can write whatever description they want to get me to pay for the product and have 0 accountability because within 7 days I can return it. It's a great concept but the line at this location is LONG. Through the street to the complex and overflowing onto the main road. Traffic coming from both directions. Can take more than 20 minutes to get to the front gate from the main road. Make sure you have lots of time to do your pick up/ return. read more

My best friend mentioned this website to me so I had to try it! I was skeptical from the reviews but also you have to understand what you're getting yourself into. The website was easy to navigate and so was the bidding. It's nice they alert you if somebody else put a bid. The actual pick up process was super easy and efficient! I was in and out in 2 minutes (without having to leave my car). The staff was friendly. Only downside for me personally is it's far (which isn't there fault) and my product said it was brand new but the box was opened so not actually sure if it was new. Also be sure to add $2-$3 extra on whatever price you bid for taxes and such! I think this would be worth it if you get multiple items not just one like I did (unless you live super close to one of their buildings). Overall a good experience and cool concept! read more

I am a regular with Nellis. I live in the east Valley so the Mesa Nellis is right up the street from my house. Sometimes I get items that are at the Phoenix Nellis which is a 47 mile journey. Caliber of Customer Service at the Phoenix Nellis is less friendly and the weight is always very long, at least 5-13 minutes. Not in love with this location. read more

I'm really disappointed in Nellis Auction. They don't accurately mark their items, even labeling broken products as 5-star quality. I go out of my way to only bid on 5-star items because I live far away and can only make the trip once a week. I try to avoid returns, but I've ended up with defective items multiple times. Today, my return wasn't accepted because I arrived a little late, despite the fact that the item shouldn't have needed to be returned if it had been properly rated in the first place. It's frustrating and feels unfair, especially for someone making a long trip. Nellis needs to either be more honest and take closer look with their item ratings or be more flexible with their return policy for customers. Simple!! Auction postings are getting really bad vs the item you receive Not the size posted or broken or I've even picked up straight up garbage shoved in a bag. So they say easy returns but when you do return they take the item and don't process the return until like a week later holding your funds they falsely advertised to take. I guess I have the worst luck with the items I bid on. I only purchase items with the highest ratings, NEW, and pay close attention to the descriptions provided pertaining to the condition of the item. I purchased a set of TV trays. The one on top was in perfect condition, but every other one had damage to the surface and one even had a leg snapped in half. The Styrofoam pieces were still in place with the protective wrap as well. Only had to put the stand together. Not happy. I also purchased a water fountain for my patio. Same thing, Styrofoam in all the right places with everything neatly packed. When I finally was able to get ready for using it, total disappointment. The top to the piece had so much of it broken off, it will not be able to sit on the fountain and be displayed. The entire base had all the broken pieces everywhere. A total disaster of a mess to clean up before I even attempt to see if the water pump even works. I am so pissed off with how careless the people who create these listings are. I will NEVER use this company again...it's not worth the hassle just to save a few bucks. I will just stick to purchasing new, from a reputable company that has an actual return policy that doesn't leave you with your hand down your pants! read more

Nellis does NOT review items accurately. They only give 7 days for you to review and return the product so make sure you double check your entire order at pickup or be prepared to make another trip to return. This sucks when you buy furniture that needs to be assembled because you're not sure what's missing until you've started unpacking, unwrapping, and assembling. read more

I used to love Nellis. Bidding started at a dollar. If you had an appointment you could pick up your things quickly. Then they raised the minimum bids, sometimes higher than you even want to pay for the item. And there is a two block or more line just to get into the parking lot.
