Zero stars is more accurate. We arranged for moving services on a Sunday, agreeing to pay extra for the weekend. As our truck pulled up, we called since The Students were not there.... and were told that they couldn't come. We were STUCK with a full load in a rental truck and no one to help. AWFUL! This is the best moving help I have ever had! My helpers were Manny & Connor. They were efficient, quick & very accommodating. They unloaded a 20' truck into a storage unit in 2 hours. They also helped me stuff my necessities into my Toyota & helped me keep my dogs secure while we were moving boxes. Just moved into our new home yesterday, and we couldn't be more pleased with The Students. They were friendly and fast. They were able to beat all competitor pricing, along with move a two bed, two bath in exactly 2 hours, with only two guys. Not to mention, home we moved into was a 3 story townhome. They were amazing! The only suggestion I have for them is to try to be on time. They called to tell me they'd be 30 min late, but ended up being 45 min late, and we were in a bit of a time crutch. I wish I would have read these reviews before I scheduled my move! They were a no show! Stay away from this company. I texted and called (left messages) several times this morning and no reply. I have emails and texts confirming my move to prove that a move was scheduled for this morning at 9AM. This was a "muscle move" to move a parent from one apartment in a senior community to another. These guys truly impressed us and we would definitely hire them again! We were lucky to meet and work with some pretty awesome guys. Tyler, Kenaz and Anthony were 20 minutes early and knocked out a move from our home and a storage unit in a days work. They were super professional, fun, timely, efficient, had great sense of humor and completely helpful with everything we needed. The speed was impressive and they were cautious with our fragile items. They were also courteous with wrapping our furniture in blankets or protective wrap. Literally nothing got damaged in the move. Give them a chance even if you have to wait a bit for responses, texting is best and now I understand why they may not respond often. If they have their hands full moving it's hard to tend to texts and calls but rest assured Anthony will connect and make it happen. If I could give The Students 10 stars, I would! I called The Students in a panic because my scheduled mover cancelled on me an hour before he was supposed to arrive. Trish was absolutely God sent. She was able to get The Students out within an hour. Anthony and I forgot the other guys name (owner) were absolutely amazing! They moved my apartment and had me set up at my house in less than 2 hours! They were the best! I referred my aunt to them and they moved her 4 bedroom , 2 story house in 4 hours. Excellent fast service! I had a garage full of junk and furniture that a previous tenant had left behind. Anthony responded to my quote request the same day and even came out to the property to provide the quote. We scheduled the junk removal for the very next day. He not only did a great job getting everything out of the garage he even swept the floors. The students moving company is way over starred. Made an appointment for 10am flat. Never shows up never calls, tells me that the appointment was from 10-11am, lie!! Made the appointment for later in the day because it seemed as if they were extremely busy. We made the appointment for 3pm, they said that, that would be fine. 3pm rolls around, your not going to believe this but, no call and no show. According to, Anthony they are a up standing business. According to their actions yesterday, this company needs some work in scheduling, being honest, responsibility and treating clients in an appropriate way, yelling at a customer who really was rather patient all day and at the end of the day not getting anything done. That's what I really wanted to do is sit around all day on my day off waiting for boys with the lack of anybodies else's feeling except their own. Anthony the owner, has what the youth now a days all have and that's the lack of being respectful, not only to adults but people in general. I was floored when a supposable business owner starts yelling at me when I was trying to figure out what on earth happened. That's the difference between my business and his, I would never yell at a client of mine, but now a days with children it's the in thing I suppose. You would do yourself injustice if you use these guys. Your priorities are just not theirs. They do things when they want, where they want and don't really care what you have to say about it when this is definitely the fault of younger individuals not yet ready for the real world of owning their own business. My suggestion for these guys, thumbs way down, save yourself the frustration, pay a little more to get the job done right. read more

Because these guys offered same day service and they're stellar reviews I decided to give them a shot and called to set up an appointment to move a few pieces of furniture and to haul some trash away... This was on a Monday. I was assured that I had an appointment booked and that I would get an email confirmation later that day with a price break down for the two jobs and of course to confirm that I had an appointment. Email never came on Monday, never came on Tuesday, called them on Wednesday and was given the excuse that they "changed systems" and that must be the reason why I never received my confirmation email and was told that I would receive it later Wednesday afternoon. Well that came and went and still no email. As a possible customer how could I take these guys serious? I'll be damned if I get stuck waiting around for people who have no intention on showing up. All of these positive reviews makes me think that they had their friends and family write them as a means to paint them in a positive light, however their lack of professionalism paints a truer picture of rank amateurs that resort to using excuses instead of being accountable. read more

One of my boxes was lost or stolen by these guys. And when I say lost it could have actually been left on the uhaul truck that they used. It contained some things that were replaceable and some things that were not. Has already cost me over 400.00 and hours and of phone time to try to get things straightened out. After calling him, he suggested that my boyfriend of 12 years may have stolen it. (are you kidding?). Nice guy who owns the business but would not take any accountability for the loss. If you do use them, get on the truck they use and look under the blankets they use for the furniture. I was not able to do that, basically because I trusted them. The police told me to file a civil law suit to which the owner replied I would be responsible for their court costs when they win. ( I don't think so). What I should have done looking back is to number every box - like 1-50. And when everything was unloaded I should have accounted for every box. That way this would have not been happening. You will make your own decisions, but please if you do use them, make an accounting for every box. read more

The guys that came to tear down a shed, take down an citrus tree and small palm tree were very nice, but not prepared. Preparation can effect the efficiency of how timely work can be completed. One staff member thought he was coming to do a moving job and didn't have gloves to work with to take down tin roof shed . Next the saw that was quoted to be a tool provided was not available at the start of the job. Not only was my job done on the high side of the quote of $250-$350 there was an additional charge of $125.00. To top it off I had asked for the total before crew was done , but they were down to the last 10% of the job. I needed to leave and wanted to pay them. They knew exactly what they had to finish up and yet they called me 30 minutes after I left to inform it would be another $50.00 to finish removal of tree branches as they needed more truck space. Here I sit with a side yard of tree branches . One would think they could provide accurate total by the point of 90% complete on a job. They accepted my payment knowing what they had to finish and failed to do so therefore I would NOT recommend them . These students need to take a course in accurate estimating. read more

I called and spoke with Anthony about moving some furniture from Gilbert to my North Phoenix home. Anthony was very polite and helped me schedule the pick up and the delivery. He followed up the morning of the pick up, just as he said he would, and he delivered the furniture as planned, right on time! These men are very professional and very polite. They were so careful when moving the furniture to make sure nothing was damaged. I am so glad I chose them and will definitely use them again. These guys are amazing! They were quick and efficient and even went the extra mile. One of our couches didn't fit so they drove it to Goodwill for us so that it wouldn't go to waste. They had no problem going up and down stairs in our apartment without an elevator and they were so polite and gentle the whole time. The price is very reasonable as well.
