Yummy mexican food. Passed by this place multiple times, never realizing there was a restaurant at this spot. They have amazing vegan options, and their vegan burrito is great. I love their guacamole, salsa and chips. For the hot sauce lovers, they have this really tasty fiery red sauce which makes everything taste even better. Came here on Saturday night and had a very pleasant experience! The servers are friendly and always make sure your water glass is full. Prices are super super reasonable as well. I had two al pastor tacos and they were amazing. Probably some of the best al pastor tacos I've had so far! Will definitely come back to try more of the menu items. The most amazing and bestest thing in the world about this place is... happy hour EVERY DAY! 4-7, $3 beers and $4 frozen margaritas. We came to this place on a Saturday night before a wedding "party" with a table of 8. The place was pretty slow, but they were really nice about setting up the table for us and letting us sit down before our entire party arrived. I ordered the lima soupa--super limey-but I like my soup like that. The portion was very large. I also got 2 al pastor and 1 shrimp taco. The pastor had a lot of flavor and both tacos had very generous fillings. What I didn't like were my shrimps were baby shrimps.. :-(, like the really small cheap frozen kind instead of real size shrimps. I also didn't like the fact that they didn't have any salsa condiments for me to add on to my tacos--w/o the salsa, I can't say the tacos are even close to being authentic. Either way, for the price, it's a great deal $2.75 meat/$3.75 seafood tacos-- especially with Happy Hour even on weekends! read more

This place rules! I have no idea how I missed this after living in Bushwick for a year. $4 happy hour margaritas (only until 7pm though). The backyard patio is beautiful, and on the weekends they have a Mariachi band! I got the enchiladas, they were phenomenal. As was the guac. Owner and older looking staff members were friendly, but unfortunately our waiter was younger, shaggy-haired, and a bit apathetic. They were very accommodating though, as we had two friends join us later in the meal, they were happy to pull up an extra table and chairs. Ordered my food at 915pm on grub hub and was given an estimated arrival time of 10:11pm, I had called twice by the time it was 11:15, hadn't heard anything from them other than he's on his way, mind you I live half a mile away. The food still had not yet arrived at 11:30 and no car pulled up in front, no buzzer noise, no knock, no phone call. I call them a third time and a new guy gets on the phone to tell me the driver apparently came and no one answered, so he left and he's back at the place. This blew my mind, I tell him why didn't anyone call or tell me that when I was calling every 20 minutes he was late-but no matter what I said this guy had no other response but saying "yaaa idk he said no one answered" Asks me if I still want the 37.00 dollars worth of food- I said yes only if it's hot and gets here soon. I've never done this type of review before I'm just annoyed and thought everyone should know.... I still haven't gotten it and it's 11:40!!! read more

Quite good, but not quite good enough to justify the prices - especially in this neighborhood, and especially for lunch. I doubt you could find a $15 lunch burrito even in Williamsburg, and if you did, it'd be something more refined than they offer here. Also seems kind of weird that a higher- priced restaurant is cash only. read more

I love this place. You can never go wrong with Mexican and I was so glad to have this place very near to work. They have an amazing happy hour with delicious margaritas! They are only $4 dollars a pop! I tried the peach, raspberry, & strawberry. My favorite was the peach. These are very strong but are delicious nonetheless. I was a little turned off by the service. I was a little intimidated to even speak to them due to the standoff attitude I got from one of the gentleman working there but the other servers were very sweet. I tend to order the same thing whenever i come here: chicken nachos, chicken burrito, and fried ice cream. The nachos are not the typical loaded nachos you see at other places, they load on everything on to each individual nacho so you always have a mouthful of everything with each bite. The burrito is huge and so so flavorful. The fried ice cream was pretty basic but not bad. I have gone back and plan to more. The outside seating area is gorgeous. read more

On a cold snowy day in January there was an opportunity for a workday lunch out with the hubby. We decided on Mexican and wanted to sit at a table. So I immediately consulted yelp that said in 40ft our car would be passing a place. Found parking promptly just at the corner. Things were already looking promising. The restaurant was empty except for a couple guys at the bar. I liked the look of the place. As it turned out the bartender doubled as the waiter. It was chilly inside so we had to keep our coats on throughout the meal. All of the appetizers seemed overpriced. So we decided to share the nachos. It was 7 - that's right seven chips with a dribble of topping on each chip. WTF? Seriously, I just paid $1.50 per chip?!?! We also ordered the chicken enchiladas. I have no complaints regarding that plate. It was delicious and filling. Ok maybe a little bland but edible. Even though the restaurant was filling up with a lunch crowd the bartender remained an attentive, friendly and most important competent waiter to us. So kudos to him because that isn't really fair to have to do both jobs, especially at a place where most of the drinks ordered require a blender. I didn't give more stars because the "chip gyp" really pissed me off. And there was no heat, my hands were so cold it hurt to hold the metal utensils but I couldn't manage them with my gloves on. read more

I don't understand how his place got good ratings. I came here because my friend told me that this was a hot spot with a live band. I got here and was very dissapointed with the "live band" that she mentioned; there were three guys in sombreros playing the accordion and making nothing but noise. As for the food, I ordered the cheese nachos as an appetizers and thought it was ok in the first bite. After a few more I realized some of them were burnt and just covered over with cheese. I also got the chicken tacos because I figured I couldn't go wrong with those...boy was I wrong! The chicken had absolutely no flavor and the tacos were just plain dry. The guacamole was watery and runny and everything was just awful. Wanted to order flan as desert but I was too disappointed to. The only good thing about this place was the nice staff that worked here...otherwise I would completely avoid this place. Ive been to way better Mexican spots! read more

Let me start by saying this place has great food, amazing margaritas, a cute little outdoor seating area but the worst hipster waitress on the planet. And that one person ruined our entire experience. It was Cinco De Mayo, we, a party of five walk in for brunch and asked to be seated in the outdoor area. The inside tables had one table filled, 5 of the 8 tables in the patio are area were occupied. We sit down at a table with two placemats and two water glasses that remained empty for 1.5 hours in. 20 minutes after sitting down our first drink order was taken, 40 minutes after sitting down or food order was taken. We really didn't mind at first because we were drinking and talking and having a good time. Time for our second round of drinks the delicious gaucamole comes out and we inhale it, we are near drunk at this point. Good times are being had bu all at this point we were feeling nice and our hipstress was getting a little in as she was making out with one of the waiters. Everytime something is ordered it is from someone different. Round three, no food yet and our waitress is nowhere to be found. That's ok, because a very competent waitress hands us our check, we haven't received our food yet or round three, but we have our bill. This waitress hurries to rectify the situation, but now my mom is pissed and hungry and tipsy and cursing up a storm. "Your food will be out in two minutes", 15 minutes later, three plates of food come out, it is clear the hipstress did not put our order in. 5 minutes later the other orders come out and my chiliquilles has no chicken, we now complain to the manager, who says......"well, It's Cinco De Mayo", wrong answer, amigo. 15 minutes later my chiliquilles comes out with grilled chicken next to the order? I know thats not how the serve it in Mexico, come on dude. Our bill comes back to us with not one adjustment, not a free drink, not a free entree, not a here's dessert on the house. This is the first time in my life I have not left a tip. My mom brought down the house and got them to deduct my meal but that's it. I hope that the manager is not the owner , I can't imagine a propreitor would treat customers with this kind of service. I hate that I can never walk back in the place. Kudos to the real waitresses, the fabulous bartenders and the wonderful chefs though, good stuff, I guess we just sat at the wrong table. read more

Way overpriced for basic Mexican Food. I went there for happy Hour and the service was barely there. The server was too busy setting up for dinner that he forgot to attend his current clients! He didn't know any of the specials and I had to get up, go outside, read the specials sign and tell them to the rest of my party. Never again. read more

Honestly I didn't even want to give a star because they don't even deserve it I've been there multiple times and tonight "cinco de mayo" I had the most horrible service ! First of all I was told 20mins for a table of 6 and I waited about and hour and a half to get seated once I got seated I waited 20mins to get my drinks and their machine for frozen margaritas was messed up next I had a waiter that was BEYOND RUDE! Asked for 2 chicken tacos without onions and I was told I couldn't get any tacos without onions because it was too busy, are you serious ? I'm allergic to onions and I just waited and hour and a half and a half and I'm paying and your going to tell me how I can have my food that's just ridiculous! Throughout the night I had about 4 different waiters and I waited about a hour for my food!! Most horrible service I ever had here I will never come back read more

The WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I waited over an hour for my food thru Seamless and when I called to inquire, the man on the phone was unbelievably rude. He started yelling at the staff in the background, then yelling at me. He treats his customers in the same disrespectful manner he treats his co-workers. He has zero understanding of what his job is, and how to act with customers. Mix ups happen, that's life. It's how you handle it that matters. After 3 hours, the food was delivered, along with a creepy phone call from the same rude man. At this point I already got food from somewhere else and contacted seamless for a refund. The food is delicious, but the treatment the staff receives from this mess on the phone is enough to make me loose my appetite. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would; we just got an order delivered and got two orders of nachos, almost $10 each. We got 7 chips, which were soggy from the thinly spread layer of refried beans on top of them, and they covered 4 slices of jalepeno and maybe a spoonful of guac. On top of a few pieces of lettuce with salad dressing. THE WORST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT. Starving right now. Never ordering from here again. read more
