Merrill is great. It's like $70 every service, they come out once every two months that you'll pay for and you can have them come out anytime in between scheduled service to respray for free. We had a really good experience with Merrill today. We kept hearing scratching noises coming from our dryers vent in the laundry room. We didn't know what it was but didn't want to deal with whatever it would end up being. We called Merrill and they sent out Sean within the hour. Sean was patient and we eventually realized a bird had made its way through the dryer vents to inside the dryer. We got it out and released the bird unharmed. Very pleasant experience. To make a long story short, my condo flooded with sewage water and I had a lot of water damage work that had to be taken care of. The crew would leave my sliding doors open while they worked. So one day, I open my dish washer and a giant roach comes out!! I just about had a panic attack. Besides that, I was finding silver fish all over my condo from the moisture of the water damage. I called Nick the owner and told him my issues (he also answered his phone on the first ring which doesn't always happen with busy business owners). He sent someone out that afternoon! Not only were they super responsive and quick to come out, but I signed up for a monthly spray and they always text me a few days before my appointments to let me know when they're coming and they're friendly and thorough. I ultimately decided to go with them, because not only were they an excellent value, they were out to my house within four hours of my first panicked message. Nick, the owner of Merrill Pest Solutions, has been providing pest control services for my house for about 8 months now after I had used Bulwark Exterminating for the previous 5 years. The reason I made the switch was because of the more superior product he uses, how thorough he is, and is reasonably priced. He has also taken time to share with me his story about how he got started in this business and wanting to provide a more superior experience for the customer, and I really like supporting his business for these reasons. The best part? All the spider webs I had around the exterior of the home are NEVER here any more (good, because I'm arachnophobic!), and the amount of other bugs I see are VERY few and far between.
