They had both in stock, plus lots more I didn't know I needed! Bike gloves (for riding in the cold weather), rechargeable bike lights for the kids & pegs for my son's bike. Great guys who were very professional and friendly from start to finish. I had to replace the tubes and tires on my mountain bike and had tried using the garbage they sell at China-Mart without any success. I realized I had wasted money by trying to save money. You're going to spend a bit more taking your gear to a shop but it's better than throwing money away by spending it at the big box stores. I stopped in to see if they could replace it - and even though they were busy, they fit me in right away so that I wouldn't have to drive back from Caldwell. SO nice, quick, efficient and helpful. Pretty disappointed in my first hand experience here. I just recently purchased a used fixie on CL to get into cycling. The rear tube went flat, so I got a basic tube at Fred Meyer. One ride later, flat again. Must've been a pinch-- no goatheads or thorns in the tire wall. Thinking I need a better tube, and wanting to ensure I got the right size, visited Meridian Cycles. Got a Slime tube for $10.95. Next day, rode to the gym (10 min ride) - worked out and an hour later----FLAT. Had to walk home- stopped at a local bike shop (not meridian cycle) who checked and said everything looked okay, must've been that the slime didn't catch up before I parked at the gym. Rode rest of the way home, but was flat within 5 minutes. Called Meridian Cycle to see if they would exchange a new tube since this was literally the first ride with it and it didn't even last 10 minutes. The response from (Jeremy I think)? "Sorry bro, that's on you. If we didn't install it, it's not covered. Good luck." As a first time customer, and new to cycling- this should have been explained before I bought their tube... And customer service 101 says they should've replaced this tube to gain my future and continued business. Too bad an $11 tube is more important than taking care of a new customer and going above and beyond for business. I'll now be buying my wife's and our 3 boys' bikes elsewhere. Mainly because the response was so cold. Try other local shops. read more

AMAZING customer service! I walked in not knowing what to expect, but I needed to repair my 3yo daughter's bike. I walked in with two toddlers and the employees were so welcoming and accommodating... especially to my special needs 2yo. Gave them fruit snacks and allowed them to see the repair process. I don't use a bike shop often (about once a year). I recently needed a repair done on my bike. When I went into the shop, the employee who came to help me was not wearing a mask. It made me so sad to see such poor customer service. I will be choosing a different shop from now on. read more

I took two of our older bikes here and had a very pleasant transaction. I was told up front how much a regular tune up would cost and if there would be extra charges. (Tune up was less than other shops but they don't clean the bike, which I was ok with because that's something I can do) I knew there would be a few things to replace so I expected the bill to be more. They took the bikes and told me when they would be ready (it was a few days turn-around). Later, they called to tell me about what they found. Ryan explained what was wrong and whether or not he felt it was important to replace or if it would be safe to operate by adjusting what was there. I really appreciated having been given options. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend taking your bikes there. read more

I got the right advice, the right new mountain bike, at the right price from Paul (owner). Additionally, the crankset on my new ride had some persistent problems and after adjusting things twice he offered to install a slightly more expensive replacement at his expense. I've been riding 2-3 times a week since and am loving it! - I just moved into town and had been wanting to start mountain biking - I tried foothills singletrack a few times, loved it, and had to buy my own ride. With the foothills so close it was no-brainer. - I've been road riding for a few years - Already having chewed through a cheap road bike and upgraded to a nicer model, I knew I'd want to go for at least a midgrade bike for durability and performance. - I went in on a friends recommendation and he gave me a few options including a 29er full suspension on sale for about 30% off. Based on my size and the price he pushed me towards the 29er, which happened to be about the middle of my price point. - Since the sale he has been knowledgeable and extremely helpful (including the new crank/chainrings) and has been willing to come very close to internet prices on components I've needed. read more

I ordered a $1000 bike from this store in great anticipation, only to be gravely disappointed. They built the wrong one, then instead of figuring anything out, they tried to sell me a more expensive bike and not only more expensive but from a less known product. This is called Bait and switch, which is illegal. They have not only lost my sale but that of my wife and children. I was warned before going here, but I like to see for myself and make my own judgement on people. I have lost respect for this store and will tell everyone I meet, that owns a bike or will listen, about my experience at this shop. read more

They have the best customer service! Just popped in there because my tire that they replaced two years ago was having issues staying inflated.
