My kid was on the hunt for a skateboard. I have no knowledge about skateboards. So I used Google to find skateboard shops around me. It give me like 3 options and we choose to go here. I must say the experience was good. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who helped my daughter. He broke it down to her on what board is what and the level of experience my child has. He helped her find the right skateboard for her level of experience and comfort. She was very excited to get her 1st skateboard and it happened to be a long board to help her get comfortable riding and when she gets the skill down she can move on to the other type of skateboard to start doing tricks and such. I was very satisfied with the service.

Demo-ing the 2016 Intense M16 at Canyons Bike Park. Such an amazing bike!

Sooooo happy to have a local shop that caters to Freeriding/Downhilling! Ryan, one of the owners has been so awesome to me in helping me find a bike that is perfect for me. Really down to earth people who just want everyone to have fun no matter what level of riding they are at. Not like the vibe you get from some of these other bike shops... Just to speak a bit about the bikes they sell... The "Intense" bikes are plush! I demo'd their M16 full carbon and it was a blast. Such a quiet bike and so solid on the jumps, turns, and through the rock gardens. I put it to the full test to riding Rally Cat, Drop Kick, and Double Down at Canyons Bike Park. The only negative is that they are in Meridian and I live in Eagle, haha. I just wish they were closer for my own selfish purposes. Lastly, I'll just say that this isn't just a bike shop. They have a riding team of varying ages. They help out at the Eagle Bike Park, and they have done a bunch of work with the trails at Tamarack. Truly doing positive things for the community. Thanks Kore North for all you do. Recommending you to all my friends.

Have you ever been biking while wearing a parachute? Well, apparently I have. My bike was creaking…read moreand and was dragging ass. Dropped it off for a tune up and it now rides like it's brand new. No noise, smooth shifting... I don't remember it ever riding so well (Bogus Basin Around the Mountain was amazing). Full disclosure I had to wait to get it in, but they are busy because they are good. It's worth the wait. These guys also tuned up my sons 20" bike. I love that they took a lot of pride in working on a kids bike that looks like it's been to hell and back. Guess it beats working on a bike that's been collecting dust. Orange Giants XTC Jr. thanks guys. Highly recommend. Not the closest place to my house but I am making the drive.

They filled the tires that day to see if either tire would leak by the time they would work on it. (Pickup was scheduled out about a week.) One of the tubes did end up needing replaced, which they did. A couple of days before pick up I was talking to them on the phone about any other potential issues with the bike, and the gentleman was very professional and helpful. He told me about an issue he had observed when the bike was in the lowest two gears, but said that if I didn't ride the bike on those settings it shouldn't be that big a deal for now. Since I don't ride on those and am on a tight budget, I appreciated that he wasn't trying to push an extra sale by making the issue out to be worse than it was. I'll probably get around to having it fixed, but it's not a top priority for me right now. When I got the bike back it felt well tuned and good to go. The guys here were great.

This past week my boyfriend and I rented two e-bikes from Matt. The experience was fantastic!…read more I grew up in Meridian, not really riding bikes. My boyfriend loves cycling though and I figured he'd enjoy getting to know the Boise area on a bike. He reached out to several bike rental companies in the area. Most charge by the day and we were seeing quotes as high as $200/bike for a week rental. We were about to just buy our own bikes and then resell them (which seemed like a HUGE hassle) when he stumbled over Synergy bike rentals. Now, Synergy offers electric bikes. My bf has always scoffed at e-bikes as they wiz past him on his daily commutes. He was extremely hesitant to get these bikes but the price was just too good to pass up and I am not the best cyclist, so it was a better option for me so I didn't slow him down. We got into town Saturday and Matt delivered the bikes within a few hours of us landing, and directly to the house! He gave my bf a quick tutorial on how to work the bikes and was off. The bike is extremely simple to use. The battery can be removed for charging and can be locked in with a key for when you're traveling and locking it up in public. The battery has a power button, then a portion of the right handle gives the bike some juice. On Monday we took the bikes from Eagle and State down the green belt toward DT. Took us about an hour to get DT and we still had 3/4 battery bars. We were able to explore DT with ease for several hours then headed back to our starting point. We really laid on the electric headed back since we had so much battery life left and made it back in 45 minutes with half a battery left! We also took the bikes up to McCall with us and were able to easily get to the top of Ponderosa Park's lookout point. It's a huge hill climb, but with some peddling to assist the electric bike, we made it up and barely broke a sweat. When we returned the bikes on Saturday, Matt again came out to pick them up. Took him about 10 minutes and he was on his way. Honestly the most simple rental experience ever and now I'm spoiled and afraid to ride my actual bike because of the ease of the electric :)

Shout out to Matt on helping me find a bike that worked well & something I felt comfortable riding. Low pressure on buying, which I appreciated. Rental pricing is really great, I didn't feel like I was being priced gouged. They have some electric scooters too. Definitely check this place out, highly recommended!
