I stopped by here because it was the closest boba tea place near me. My daughter loves Boba tea and when she wanted to order, she took a while because there were so many neat options in the menu! She needed a non-dairy alternative, and ordered a mango slush with boba. I am impressed by the serving size and the taste. The cashiers were really friendly and patient when they saw that I was teaching my daughter how to order and pay with her phone. We didn't feel pressured and the cashier and other employee were helpful. The inside of the place was really nice, clean and had so many cute little areas where you can hang out. Super cute boba place. Interior alone is worthy of praise with bright colors, adorable drawings, and floral decorations and a swing for photos. There's a few tables in the back for seating. I got the Oreo milk tea which was surprising with a custard/cream at the bottom. It was thicker than milk tea, but delicious regardless. The boba itself was soft and did not turn hard over time in the cold drink which is something I look for in my drinks. The staff was sweet and gave a sample of taro. read more

Mellow Tea Studio is one of my favorite boba shops! Their drinks are so delicious and they muddle fresh fruit to order. I got the jasmine milk tea with pudding and it was a little too sweet, but you can customize sweetness so I'll just order less next time. I've also had a strawberry frostie which was so refreshing, and the coconut mango was a dream (it uses coconut milk, not coconut pieces). I brought my laptop to do work and they had outlets available. They also have free garage parking with some lowkey confusing signs but you CAN park where it says "1802-1820 S. We are excited to have a new boba place in the area since we usually drive to Lomita or Gardena for our favorite places. Also this is a super relaxing place to sit! I had Mellow tea for the first time today. It was so good. I appreciated all the fresh fruit that came in my drink. Mango lime tea. I got it with 75% sugar and I have to say it was just right, to appreciate the freshness of it all. Looking at the lime that was left in my drink, I can tell it was fresh ( as opposed to that brown ring that forms on the peel when it is not). I will be ordering more from them. Went here 3 times recently and was really happy with my drink each time! The earl gray is delicious and I really liked the mango sago too. The mango sago isn't too sweet which was perfect for me but the Earl Gray is definitely on the sweeter side. I'd recommend 75% sweet or even 50% for the Earl Gray and 100% for the sago! But on top of the drinks being great their customer service is fantastic. The workers were happy to help with any questions and the turn around time is pretty quick! Additionally on my visit today I was being dumb with my gf and accidentally dropped my drink and spilled it in the shop :( 100% my fault but the cashier instantly said it was ok and he'd make me another. I declined since I knew it was my fault for the accident but they insisted! The decor inside is really cute and cozy too. There is a cute mural on the wall with a bunch of cats drawn and they're adorable. Cute swing set and clean space over all! Definitely give these guys a shot :) read more

What happened to this place? I come here for the quality and all I got was lack of quality. I ordered 2 mango coconut and there was no mango taste. All i taste is coconut cream. THAT IS NOT WHAT I ordered. This used to be the go to place but I guess times are tough and they have to cut their raw materials? But come on, if I pay 6 something for a drink I expect quality. I don't need to come to this place anymore. So sad. You guys were so good. I suggest people to try Yi Fang in Torrance and Sunright in Gardena. What the heck. Not only was the boba itself mediocre, but the smell inside the store was so pungent and acrid that we had to wait for our drinks outside of the shop because the malodorous odor. We tried to keep the door open to air out the smell, but it seemed like the employees olfactory nerves were immune to the fetid stink, and even closed the door to keep the smell in. read more

Great boba drinks and an even better place to work. This little boba shop is a real hidden gem. The drinks are tasty and the free WiFi is reliable enough to work or study. Compared to other boba places, this place feels (just like its name), very mellow. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere overall was great. Strawberry Feast - a delicious strawberry drink, blended with your choice of any tea or dairy milk. The drink had crystal boba and fresh strawberry at the bottom and whipped cream at the top. I didn't realize until later when I saw the label, that I could have adjusted the sugar. Hopefully next time I order, an associate will ask if I forget to say something. It was tasty and the cheese foam is oh so good! The place was spacious, clean and smelled nice. There were only a couple tables in the corner. This is a nice place to stop by on the way to or from the ocean. If you drive, I believe there is an attached parking structure. Been to the café twice and tried two of their drinks, been loving both drinks so far. The environment - probably one of the cutest and coziest bubble tea shop I have visited so far. The lighting is warm and welcoming while the couch is super comfy. I could see people hanging out there all day when covid is over. Now the drinks Golden Pineapple - I would say this is their signature drinks. This is the most refreshing tea I've ever tried. The drink is made with fresh crashed pineapple. I believe they added passion fruit and Jasmine tea to the mix which actually give the drink extra fragrance. Strawberry Frostie - it's pretty much a strawberry smoothie, but they blended with tea (Jasmine or Oolong) which gives the drink extra tea flavor. What's special about the drink is that they use fresh strawberry for the blend and the cheesefoam give it extra creamy texture. For those of you wondering what cheesefoam is, it is basically liquid form of cream cheese. I would say this is the best strawberry smoothie I have ever tried in my life. The parking - Parking is in the rear of the store, it's free and pretty easy to find. The best part is that they are still doing soft opening, so they have 20% off on all drinks. We looooooove Mellow Tea. The owners/staff are so kind and also committed to this craft. Each drink is made to perfection. Oreo Boba is the ultimate dessert, with brûlée sauce swirled in the cup. My kids love the fresh fruit teas with cheese foam and I'm a fan of the classic milk tea. The taro is good too, but you have to like taro since theirs is very classic in flavor (also very fresh).
