My hubby was in his police uniform and is also in the reserves but they didn't discount our meal like the other location in Mobile? This restaurant is beyond frustrating. I'm in Colorado trying to order dinner for a family member there for Mother's Day. First you guys don't deliver right up the road on Hwy 90 then your kids menu isn't available. I just spoke to a rude lady explaining to me that due to them being understaffed they are not taking call ahead orders. Your poor management is not your customers problem. Keep turning away business and making it impossible for service and that will solve your staffing issues because your location will be permanently closed! Learn how to run a business properly. We always enjoy going to Mellow Mushroom. My husband and I love ordering a variety of appetizers & a salad and sharing everything. It's also great if we want to share a pizza with the kids bc regardless what type pizza you want you can get 1/2 & 1/2 which means we can get 1/2 pepperoni for the kids and 1/2 adult pizza of our choosing. Yes it may take a little longer to get your food especially on a weekend, but we go to hangout and spend time with family, we're never in a hurry so it doesn't bother us. Most the servers are extremely friendly and if any error occurs they are always happy to fix it. read more

Who doesn't love Mellow Mushroom? We go to this location more than the others because this one is close to our house. The food is great! My favorite pizzas are the Thai Dye, Mighty Meaty and the Maui Wowie. My hubs likes the Bayou Bleu a lot, and it's good, just not my favorite. We love the stuffed portobello mushrooms too. The service is always friendly and efficient. The prices are a little higher than our local mom and pop joints, but they stay open later. It's clean, but really cold in there. Great pizza. Slight spice, the crust is thick but not bready. A bit greasy but I think is was because of the sausage. The peso was very flavorful and nutty. I believe they use walnuts for the pesto. Gotten it twice these last 3 weeks and have been a customer regularly since this location opened it's a great location and they are really good about giving you extra of the topping sauce if you ask. My only complaints have been when I order a half and half pizza there is always more of one side and a piece with both kinds of pizza on one slice also when I asked for red pepper flakes the girl literally rolled her eyes and gave me one pack like what am I gunna do with that ???? I won't be back here, ordered a pizza and wings. First the wings tasted like Tyson frozen wings and not very good. Second the pizza came out and was very greasy, asked for pepperoni and sausage, had to hunt for the sausage. Mellow mushroom is definitely one of my go-to restaurants. A personal favorite of mine is one of their local menu items and it's the Baked Potato Pie. It may seem odd to have potatoes and sour cream on a pizza but it soooo delicious. It has a warm garlic base, tender pieces of potato, onion, and small amount of sour cream across it. Late night dinner with incompetent staff at M&M. The food was very good but service was horrible. I retrieved my own drink from the bar and thats when our waitress decided not to serve us anymore. I finished two glasses of water and a beer (goose island brew) before I went for my refill. Then I called the manager over to receive plates and forks because the waitress was to embarrassed to come back to our table. When I lived in Daphne, this was a spot my hubs and I would frequent about 5 times a month! The service is always great, the food is incredible (bbq chicken pizza and Greek salad are among my favs!) and the atmosphere is inviting. We did have a bit of a hiccup with our order on our latest visit - the kitchen completely messed up our entire parties' orders (8 people, 5 pizzas and 2 calzones), which our server was quick to remedy, and she even gave us the "messed up" food to snack on (for free) while we waited on our correct order! It almost seems like they had too much open space and didn't know what to do so just randomly put tables throughout the floor.
