APPETIZING!!! We ordered medium pepperoni , 2 hamburgers chicken wings and Cobb Salad . Everything was on point. Hamburgers were thick and juicy. The pizza was just perfect enough cheese, sauce and pepperoni. The Cobb salad was my favorite, it had so much stuff in it just the way I like it!!!! My husband loved the chicken wings. We were staying at the La Quinta nearby and a staff at the restaurant offered us plates and silverware . They were so sweet!! Sorry to write this review, but my hand was forced. Driving through and stopped here around 7PM. Sat at the bar because is was crowded for a Friday night. Immediately ordered 2 beers and a large pizza (simple mushroom because of Lent). Drank our two beers, waited 20 mins for the pizza and then realized that the couple next to us who sat down after we ordered just got their pizza. Then asked about it and the bar staff realized that they never entered our order into the system. They were apologetic and they said they would place the order now. They comp'd us the beers, which was nice. But 40 mins later, we finally got our pie after several rounds of "It'll just be another 5-10 mins). At one point the manager came out and gave the same line and said that the kitchen is making 30 pies. I don't care about those pies; it's not my fault you are busy. If you are that busy, quit telling me my pizza will be ready in 5-10 mins when it clearly won't. I would have been happier had they been realistic and told me they screwed up and it will take 30 mins. I would have paid my bar tab, and grabbed some fast-food somewhere. But I would have been willing to go back. Not now, though. I know it wasn't the bar staff's fault, but waiting 1 hour to get 2 beers and 1 mushroom pizza is not really acceptable. read more

We have frequented MM since the Restaurant was opened. It is the place we go to at least once per week. The beer selection is great and we look forward to finding a new beer we like. The pizza is great. We also like the Hummus and the Mushroom Soup. The service is attentive and very friendly. We usually sit at the bar and Katie, Gwen, and recently Veronica take excellent care of us. Pauly and his staff prepare our pizza like we ask for and always ensure that we are satisfied. Literally the best pizza I've ever had... My family and I stopped by here Wednesday 3/22/17 and got the large Maui Wowie pizza, and color me impressed. Pizza came out delicious, fresh, and piping hot (like I love). Something about the dough they use, not sure what it is since I don't even like dough most times, however theirs is like heaven in your mouth. Our server was Katie, who was also the bartender. She was extremely nice, well-spoken, and attentive to all of our needs. I honestly can't think of a time where I've been more impressed by a restaurant's cleanliness, service and food. This Mellow Mushroom is by-far the best Mellow Mushroom location I've been to, and my new favorite restaurant on the eastern shore. My family and I can't wait to eat there again! read more

Walked in at 2pm on a Friday. The host didn't seem to really care if we were there at all. No greeting just pointed to a booth and walked away. 10 minutes later no one came to the table to ask for a drink order or say, "be right with you". The place was dead as was the service. My husband and I ordered our meal on the website and he went to pick it up. When he got there he waited for about 20 minutes and once the order never came he asked the lady working (manager) about his togo order....she then says that nobody ever checks the online orders and they might end up doing away with that whole program because its unreliable....so then he had to wait another 30 minutes to get the food. Stopped for lunch on the way to Florida. Looking for something not found in our hometown so we ended here. We had Bayou Blue and Cosmic White combination in one pizza. The dough is amazing! Dough is crunchy at the bottom and has a soft and chewy top. Both pizza combinations were oh-so-good. Cosmic white - dried tomato stands out! Bayou blue - the blue cheese is mild to my taste but blends well with the rest of the ingredients. Our server was exceptional! Thanks Chestly! (Hope I got the spelling right!) What a quality pizza?
