They were easy to contact and so responsive…read more We said we needed an older gas fireplace likely replaced in a home we just purchased, as we wanted to add a remote control and a fan, but Chase said let's start with a service, and that our fireplace could likely be retrofitted with a remote and fan. Not only did we get an appointment within days, Casey showed up exactly on time, and even called to let us know he was on his way. He used care and caution in our home, and was very respectful by taking his shoes off without even being asked. Casey came prepared with parts necessary for the retrofit. After the main servicing of the 28 year old fireplace, he told us it could easily be fitted with a remote, and that it already had a fan - that was broken. He quickly retrofitted for the remote and installed a new fan. We were so happy that we didn't have to replace the entire fireplace. We cannot recommend this company enough!

I bought my gas fireplace insert from Anderson several years ago and I have always had them service…read moreit. The previous technician they had for years would always take the time to clean and test everything in great detail. The current technician came last year to do the second service in a 3 year prepaid plan I bought and spent about 20 minutes not cleaning much. I had to take it all apart and clean it myself. I just let that slide thinking it would be a one off thing but today it happened again. The same technician my cameras clocked him in at 11:28am and leaving by 11:49am. That would leave him about 15 minutes of cleaning time if you factor in laying out/picking up of tools and writing out the service report. I happened to be home at the time he arrived and he actually had the nerve to try and sell me on doing a prepaid package again because the price is increasing as I was leaving for work. I will have to take it all apart and clean it myself again and in my opinion Anderson owes me my money back for two years of that plan. Attached are photos of the thick dust seen right in front on the control knobs and 9V battery....im doubting any functionality testing was ever done

Everyone has been really great to work with. May 2024 - I finally scheduled our annual maintenance. They sent James out. He was fantastic. A wealth of knowledge, polite and professional. I signed up for the annual maintenance plan to save money. He made good recommendations based on my needs and concerns of my allergies. Much appreciated! 2026 update - our heat pump stopped working and needed replacement parts. I paid for them to send a tech to diagnose it and they followed through with the work which is under the 10-year warranty. Tech, Hagen was very nice and professional and made sure to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the office staff, Brittny, Erin and everyone who took my calls while I was eagerly waiting for parts & repair. They treated me very kindly and proactively communicated each step of the way. I hope that this fix lasts a long time, or at least until we upgrade to a newer, more environmentally friendly unit.

I had an overall good experience with All Points Heating & Fireplace. Ron came to my home within a…read moreweek of my phone call to do an estimate. Ron's pricing was competitive with other companies, and about 25-30% less than some of their more expensive competitors. Once I selected All Points, Christopher scheduled my installation of a Kuma wood-burning fireplace insert about a month later. The installation included a chimney cap and stainless steel chimney liner. Overall, the installation was done smoothly. I had one small issue with the fan not turning on, and Christopher sent his men out within a week to fix the issue. The Kuma product is an American-made hybrid wood burning stove with a catalytic converter. It is manufactured in Idaho by a family-run company, and I really like the product. I've enjoyed burning wood in the stove multiple times since purchasing it, and I'm confident that I'll be using the stove every Fall/Winter/Spring for many years to come. Some guys off the street had knocked on my door, pointed out my crumbling chimney, and wanted to…read morereplace it. They showed me how bad it was falling apart to the touch...this got the ball rolling in my head (since i do have some roof leaks from around the chimney maybe) to address the chimney. These guys (again, off the street, no truck or anything) weren't going to be who i hired. So i had 2 companies come inspect & bid (both priced the same) and i went with Ed's. Oscar is the owner, Ed's son, and he's been doing chimneys for his whole life. When the owner is actually doing the work himself (like i do) is always an "im sold" situation for me. He and his assistant were at my place, on time, at a time that worked for me, for 5 hrs/3 days. Oscar explained every detail, answered all my questions, spotted some minor leak related stuff on my roof and fixed it at no extra charge. He is VERY in tune with maintaining high customer satisfaction. He was also conscious of making sure no carbon monoxide would creep into the house. He improved upon that exact situation that a previous heating company handled in an inferior capacity. They left no mess. I'm super happy with the new chimney! i have no doubt if there is any issues in the near future, he will be on top of it.

tldr - if it's related to HVAC, call the installer of your HVAC system if possible…read more I called Green Bear to take a look at an HVAC system (on second floor) that was leaking water on the 1st floor ceiling (due to AC condensation). They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)
