We've worked with Brent now on multiple jobs at our Bellevue house. He and his crew have always been professional with us, and the work is exceptional. Great tile contractors are hard to find. We've been through several of them on our house since 2018 when we started major renovations. I'm a perfectionist and have a hard time with a lot of the work people do if things are out of plumb, square, un-level, etc. Brent and Curt have continually done amazing work, problem-solving technical challenges with heating, layout, and grout materials. I've recommended them to my own family, and he installed the tile flooring at my sister-in-law's house in June of this year. They are coming back to install a new backsplash and some other smaller jobs at our place next month. I will continue to recommend them. To be honest, from reading the one bad review they received it seems like more of an issue with the homeowner rather than Brent and his crew.

Demo day! Huge job that we are so grateful to Battaglia Tile for taking care of for us

My husband and I used Battaglia Tile to demo our entry way/fireplace hearth slate tile and install new porcelain tile. We hired Brent based on my brother in law's recommendation. Brent was very responsive and gave me a quote range that depended on what they found during the demo, which would impact how the installation would be done, which seemed reasonable. The demo was a much larger job than anticipated and Brent quickly brought in additional people to keep us on schedule as we had to be done in a week. There was an issue with the wrong tile delivered, the fault of the supplier, and when we caught this, Brent drove to pick up the correct tile directly from the manufacturer. Despite all these unexpected events, Brent made sure the project was finished on time so it wouldn't hold up the next stage of our remodel. It is currently covered up with paper for painting, but will post pictures once it's done. I would use Brent again for future projects and would recommend him to anyone looking for high quality tile work and great customer service!

All the tiles needing to be replaced because of poor attention to detail

Run away from these guys. In fact, sprint in any other direction. The website claims they do "top quality, high end installations with customer service to exceed your expectations". They are anything but what they claim. Tile work is all about details and Battaglia tile could care less about details. I hired Battaglia Tile in October to complete a shower tile install using 3 x 6 glass tiles in a subway tile pattern. Owner, Brent, came to look at the job. He was friendly and had a few ideas about the install. I know his daughter professionally and he told me "I'll take care of you". He scheduled to start the job about 3 weeks later. One week before the job, he notified me that he wasn't going to do the work and instead one of his other guys would do it. No red flags there since that is pretty much business as usual in the construction world. Scott started the job just before the end of October. As the tile started to go up, I noticed that Scott had not cut the tile appropriately so that the shower valve trim would cover the cuts in the tile. I also noticed a very crooked tile next to a body spray. I contacted Brent to let him know of the problems and sent pictures. He told me he'd take care of it. To my surprise, the crooked tile was put back in the EXACT same spot and crooked. The trim issue had been fixed though. My wife and I had a vacation planned and were excited our shower would be done when we got back. What we came home to was far below the "high end" installation we were promised. Many tiles were so crooked that they practically touched other adjacent tiles. Tiles were used that had scratches through the backing so that the blue tile suddenly had large splotches of white in the back. Completely untouched/uncut tiles were used with big chips out of the corners of them. In all, 55 tiles needed to be replaced for some reason or another. See pictures. I took many. Against my better judgment, I paid Brent in full before the job was completed. After all, he said he'd take good care of us. I called Brent and let him know we needed to meet to discuss the work performed. When he arrived he was not open to actually resolving the problem. I pointed to all the crooked and chipped tiles. He stood there and actually said "I'm proud of this job". He went on to say that "the job is exceptional". When I again pointed to crooked tiles, he just shrugged and stated that the spacers must have slipped but took no responsibility for it. I then asked why Scott used all the defective tiles he did. Why he couldn't have looked at the tiles as he was putting them on the wall. Brent's response "We don't do that, your product so your fault". So I rephrased, "You mean your guy can't take an extra 5-10 seconds per tile to scan it over before putting it on the wall". Brent then responded by comparing the tile work to the Mona Lisa. "You don't take a magnifying glass to the Mona Lisa and pick out imperfections". For the record, all the large scratches and chipped tiles were readily visible with no magnifying glass. Brent then continued to say that he was not going to fix any of it unless we paid him to. That's right, his tile job was perfect but if we did want it fixed, then it would cost us. Brent is far from professional, provides sub par tile work, is prideful to a fault, and takes no ownership when a job is done poorly. I have plenty of pictures of his "exceptional work", peruse them and learn that you need to steer clear of these guys at all costs.

I initially contacted them to look at tile for our project, when David and Enzo arrived I was very pleased to discover they did much more than that. They provided a bid to do almost everything to get our house livable, and while we didn't choose them for every line item, we were happy to hire them to do almost everything. David and his team were nothing short of amazing. In just 6 weeks, they transformed our house from an empty shell with painted drywall into a livable home. Their craftsmanship was outstanding - they replaced the subfloor, walked us through acclimating our hardwood floors, installed both LVP and hardwood throughout, helped organize the design and installation of steel railings, and even frameless glass shower doors. Despite my eagerness to speed up the process, they maintained their high-quality standards. They also installed trim and doors throughout, ensuring everything was complete just in time for us to move in before our rental lease expired. Without David and his crew, we would have moved into an incomplete and unsafe home for our 4.5-year-old. We're extremely grateful to have found E&A through Yelp, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They went above and beyond, and this 5-star review is well-deserved

Before moving forward, I asked several reasonable clarification questions about what was included in the quote, such as removal/disposal, templating, fabrication, delivery, plumbing or appliance reconnection, timeline, etc which was unclear in the quote. Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect clear communication and respectful customer service.
