Great experience. Easy initial call and clear communication. Accurate estimate. Pricing was reasonable. Check out the before and after photos. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definitely hire again!

Adrian was very responsive and able to come see our job and provided a quote the same day. Our project was two outdoor decks with tile and cement material grout. Then 2 bathrooms including tile floors and shower decks and walls. Adrian's bid was competitive and when we met I was impressed with his knowledge of materials and product applications. He had valuable suggestions, scheduled our work quickly, communicated efficiently and the quality of the work was top notch. He and his team completed our project in one day. It was at budget and on time. If needing any of this type work, I would give Adrian a call again first.

I contracted First Choice for two different tile jobs in my single family rental. They did a great job for a fair price and years later the quality has held up well. The retiled a shower and fixed loose/broken 12x24 tiles in my kitchen and I was very happy with both jobs.

Adrian and his team did an amazing job with our bathroom. We had a pipe burst and this was a big project to install insulation, repair studs, new vanity, new tub, tile flooring, shower tiling, and wall paint! Adrian was very communicative about the timelines which ended up being quick and accurate. What more could you ask for? And the finished result was amazing!

Short story? First Choice Grout and Tile exceeded all of our expectations in repairing a mosaic tile shower pan in our guest bathroom. Responsive, great expertise, honest and straight-forward, and they met every promise. Adrian carefully demo'd the problem area, ground out the old Quickset to perfectly flat, then re-tiled the area with some spare material we had. He custom-mixed an epoxy grout color to match our existing tile work, and he was able to complete the repair well within his estimate and discounted the difference! We included tile and slate stone cleaning and re-sealing in our master shower which resolved grout build-up and bolstered the water proofing. Well worth it if he's coming to help you on something else. He takes a very high integrity approach to running his business and I'd gladly have them back for additional projects, be they cosmetic or breakage / leaking in nature (as this one was).

Just a couple months after the work was completed, the grout in the doorway has cracked and fallen out.

Updated May 2020 to address new issues that have arisen since install. First Choice recently helped us out with two bathroom projects. The first was a demo and replacement of an existing bathroom floor. The second was a deep clean of a shower stall. Pros: - Super responsive to request for quote - Quick to schedule the job - Fast to get the job done - Communicative throughout the process - Patient despite a delay on materials - Friendly and direct - Cheap v other quotes we got for the jobs - New floor looks great from far away (certainly better than what was there before) Cons: -Quite a bit of unevenness in new tile floor - there are tiles sticking out / pushed in further than those surrounding them, some up to 1/8". This makes cleaning the floor pretty difficult, and it's also unattractive to look at and uncomfortable to walk on. The First Choice team tried to fix the issues with additional grout but it didn't resolve anything so we were offered a discount on the job. A full demo would be needed to actually fix the issue. New issue after a few months.... some of the grout (around tub and in doorway) has cracked and fallen out since install. It looks *bad*. It's not an issue of the house moving - the grout that had been in the bathroom the 50 years prior never cracked.

Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that their white grout can have a tendency to turn yellow over time. I also later learned that many professional tile installers refuse to use Laticrete white epoxy grout because of this issue. Because epoxy grout cures as hard as cement, the problem was extremely difficult to fix. To make matters worse, the contractor who originally installed it refused to fix the problem. I spoke with several professionals and was told that the only options were either to remove and replace all of the tile or use a grinder to remove the yellowed grout, which could chip and damage the marble. After doing extensive research, including using ChatGPT, Sir Grout was recommended as the best company for the job. There was only one person at Sir Grout who had both the experience to remove Laticrete epoxy grout and the willingness to take on such a challenging project. His name is David, and he is awesome. Not a single tile was damaged during the process, and he used a different manufacturer's white grout that will not turn yellow. Sir Grout also provides a one-year written guarantee on the grout work. In addition, the white tile itself had begun to show yellow staining, and Sir Grout was able to remove almost all of those stains as well. Needless to say, I will be using Sir Grout enthusiastically for any and all future projects involving tile or grout. "$8,844.00 is paid to Sir Grout Seattle, LLC. As a homeowner, I couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend them. Vitaliy was excellent to work with throughout the process. He communicated openly about costs, risks, and timelines. His initial quote was the most thorough and detailed among all the bids we received (e.g. including a potential subfloor leveling cost range upfront to avoid surprises later on). He was also open to incorporating a written addendum I provided alongside the standard contract so that all project expectations were clearly documented from the start. When a supplier mistake from Shaw Floors delayed materials and forced my family into a longer Airbnb stay, Vitaliy stepped up and helped cover the ~$1,500 extra cost. That meant a lot to us. The crew treated our home with respect, the floors look beautiful, and throughout the project I felt I could truly trust Vitaliy and David's Flooring. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to other homeowners for flooring work.

They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.

I didn't end up doing the work but 15 months later, I was ready to go forward with one of the rooms I had previously asked them to estimate and two newly remodeled rooms- so, it was a new estimate for work, and I was planning to use Seal Team One for the work. They sent a technician who took about 10 minutes to measure the rooms. The following day, I received the estimate and was surprised to see the total costs, especially since the same room from last year was now twice as much this year. I politely asked a few questions of their customer service representative, and she said the previous estimate had been in error and this new one was correct. I thanked her and her company for the time but that the costs were too much and I won't be accepting their bid. Their customer service representative could not have been more rude, and told me to look elsewhere for tile sealing in the future, and that I wasted their technician's valuable time. Given the estimate, I'd say their technicians time must be very valuable. Hard to believe that this is a service company. So, if you are looking for a business where people with no social or business skills are in charge of customer service, then by all means, go to Seal Team One. I must assume that this individual reflects the company's culture, and I am so glad that I found this out before a signed a contract to pay them almost $4,000 to seal my tile. You should avoid this company at all costs!
