Adrian did a great job in my shower. It looks brand new. I initially sent him a photo of my stained shower floor, and he called back within minutes. We discussed what had to be done, step by step, and he gave me a quote which I thought was very reasonable. Once here, the shower was thoroughly cleaned, every joint and corner was spotless. After chiseling out the stained grout, he replaced it with a durable epoxy . Adrian took the time to exactly color match the existing wall grout. He is professional, showed up on time, kept the bathroom clean and orderly and was easy to work with. I am very pleased at the job he did. I would not hesitate to use him again. read more

I had an excellent experience with First Choice Tile & Grout. The team was professional, on time, and paid incredible attention to detail. They brought our tile and grout back to life--it honestly looks brand new. They took the time to explain the process, kept everything clean, and made sure we were happy with the results before they left. We had epoxy grout applied in the corners that was color matched, and Adrian explained it was commercial grade which was an appreciated upgrade! If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work and delivers outstanding results, this is the company. read more

Adrian and his team were great! Very professional, thorough, efficient, well priced. My bathroom/kitchen had a whole new look. Would highly highly recommend to anyone who's considering tile work. He'll walk you through the entire process. He's approachable and his team worked really efficiently. I noticed a previous review that had 2 stars but it sounds like she was impatiently not willing to wait for him to fix whatever "issue" it may have been. For me, when I noticed a small area of tile was missing grout, he came within a few days to fill the grout. I feel like most services take forever to come back but I was able to text him and he came as soon as he could. Thank you Adrian! You gave our house some new life! read more

We had two showers that needed work, one needed new grout/cleaning and the other needed a new floor pan, tile and the curb rebuilt due to water damage. Adrian did a great job on both showers. He was very professional and always took time to explain what needed to be done, showing us during different phases and getting our opinions on aesthetics. He showed up every day and typically worked long hours to get it done. It turned out to be more work than expected after removing some of the tile, he was very thorough and made sure both were done correctly. He told us what type of floor tile to buy so it would hold up well and he was able to reuse some of our existing tile for the walls, which really helped with the cost. His costs were very reasonable. Overall it was a very good experience. read more

I highly recommend this company. We needed our shower pan re-grouted and received a prompt estimate based on photos. The work was completed on the scheduled date as promised. Justin and Bradley arrived on time, were kind and professional, and delivered excellent results--the shower looks brand new. They were also a pleasure to work with and left the area clean and tidy. read more

Hired this company to clean, patch and seal grout in my master bathroom. Communication was not good from the start--owner flaked on the first scheduled appointment. Was not impressed with the quality of work when it was done, as there were areas that still looked dirty and crumbling. When I raised this, he was dismissive but patched a couple of other spots. A week later, the grout started melting/disintegrating in areas where it had been patched. I spent two weeks trying to get it repaired because the work is supposedly guarantees, and the communication has not been good. I had to follow up multiple times before getting the repair scheduled, and was asked to send a reminder text to him day of the repair. I rearranged work and sent a reminder text. No response and he flaked on that as well, and still no firm date on when he will make time for the repair. After two weeks, one of the tiles came out because the grout around it basically melted, so I can't wait any longer and keep following up. I'm giving 2 stars because the work on the bathroom floor was fine. Photos are from a few days after and then 2 weeks after the work was done. read more

I can't say enough good things about how great Adrian and his team were. They were on time, professional, and really knew what they were doing. Their work was beautiful, and the bathroom looks like new. I only regret that I don't have more work for them, but when I do, they will be the only company I call and will recommend them to all my friends. Thanks again. Dale read more

We had a complicated tile to install for our shower and these guys finished in two days. Amazing work!

I'm very impressed with First choice grout and tile! A few notes: 1) Great communication- the owner was responsive and scheduled me in ASAP for a shower, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and door re-caulking/re-grouting/sealing. 2) They arrived on time and worked hard. 3) Pricing was competitive (I got a few quotes and theirs was the most reasonable). Owner even went out of his way to work a few items in there for free! 4) End result looks better than brand new and they used different assorted epoxy, grout colors, caulking etc. 5) In addition to quality work, as if that wasn't enough, both gentlemen were trustworthy, morally commendable, respectful, and frankly just kind. I would definitely recommend this business to acquaintances, friends and family. Thank you so much for renewing my home! read more

There's nothing better than a perfectionist when you're looking to restore a 39-year-old tiled bathroom. That would be Adrian Leahu, the owner of First Choice Tile and Grout. He approaches jobs with the care and pride of an artist, who cares about the details. This is the third time he has come to our house. This time he fully restored the family bathroom tile, including the glass doors in the shower. Plus, he freshened the decades old tile in the master bath, taking care to match exactly the aged color of the grout. All done at a reasonable price. And he arrived promptly, exactly at the agreed time, which we appreciate. read more

Adrian was very responsive and able to come see our job and provided a quote the same day. Our project was two outdoor decks with tile and cement material grout. Then 2 bathrooms including tile floors and shower decks and walls. Adrian's bid was competitive and when we met I was impressed with his knowledge of materials and product applications. He had valuable suggestions, scheduled our work quickly, communicated efficiently and the quality of the work was top notch. He and his team completed our project in one day. Overall, very friendly and high quality work. They made sure that things were covered and cleaned up. Showed what they plan to do, had me review halfway thru the work to make sure I was good with it, and then final review when they were done. They used epoxy grout so they weren't cutting corners on the material. Would highly recommend them. read more

We've used Adrian at First Choice Grout and Tile a number of times over the past 10 years (at 3 different properties), and each time we've been impressed with him and his team. Short story? First Choice Grout and Tile exceeded all of our expectations in repairing a mosaic tile shower pan in our guest bathroom. Responsive, great expertise, honest and straight-forward, and they met every promise. Adrian carefully demo'd the problem area, ground out the old Quickset to perfectly flat, then re-tiled the area with some spare material we had. He custom-mixed an epoxy grout color to match our existing tile work, and he was able to complete the repair well within his estimate and discounted the difference! We included tile and slate stone cleaning and re-sealing in our master shower which resolved grout build-up and bolstered the water proofing. Well worth it if he's coming to help you on something else. He takes a very high integrity approach to running his business and I'd gladly have them back for additional projects, be they cosmetic or breakage / leaking in nature (as this one was). read more

Updated May 2020 to address new issues that have arisen since install. First Choice recently helped us out with two bathroom projects. The first was a demo and replacement of an existing bathroom floor. The second was a deep clean of a shower stall. Pros: - Super responsive to request for quote - Quick to schedule the job - Fast to get the job done - Communicative throughout the process - Patient despite a delay on materials - Friendly and direct - Cheap v other quotes we got for the jobs - New floor looks great from far away (certainly better than what was there before) Cons: -Quite a bit of unevenness in new tile floor - there are tiles sticking out / pushed in further than those surrounding them, some up to 1/8". This makes cleaning the floor pretty difficult, and it's also unattractive to look at and uncomfortable to walk on. The First Choice team tried to fix the issues with additional grout but it didn't resolve anything so we were offered a discount on the job. A full demo would be needed to actually fix the issue. New issue after a few months.... some of the grout (around tub and in doorway) has cracked and fallen out since install. It looks *bad*. It's not an issue of the house moving - the grout that had been in the bathroom the 50 years prior never cracked. read more

Highly recommend First Choice Grout & Tile! Why? 1. Super-knowledgeable about the work to be done. Adrian actually recommended against one of the repairs I wanted so it wouldn't risk damage to the floor heating elements under the tile. 2. The work was meticulous. My marble tile hallway grout and bathroom floors look as good as new. 3. The bathtub and shower caulking was perfect. 4. He was even able to get years of calcium buildup off the shower drain. 5. He's got a wonderful, happy, helpful attitude and a focus on job excellence. 6. He was a huge help and squeezed me in on super short notice when my previously scheduled service canceled at the last minute. I'm on a tight timeframe due to the house going on the market and he made it happen! You have lots of choices in this market. Go with First Choice and you will be glad you did! read more

The owner of this company and his team are exceptional. From start to finish the owner, Adrian was very communicative, professional, and knowledgeable. I appreciated the time he took to explain to me exactly what he was going to do to fix our bathroom shower and tub. We had severe issues with the grout and he was able to make it look brand new! It was also apparent that he was a person with integrity and great business ethics. Explain to him what you want, and he will make it happen better than you had hoped read more

They showed up on time, and did an amazing job regrouting our custom tile shower. They removed all the old grout from the floor and walls, and grouted them again within one day! My wife is no longer wanting to burn the house down just because of the shower. It We initially were worried that we had ruined the floors tile with excessive scrubbing that we did while trying to get rid of some buildup it just turned out to be discoloration caused by something...and were still not sure what it was. We even had a professional steam clean done right before and it didn't get the stains out. If we ever need to do tile again we'll definitely be calling to have them do it. read more

Good and bad: The actual work itself was very good. They were prompt and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? The bad? I found them sitting in MY CHAIR in my bedroom....boundaries guys. They blasted their music while we were home....not very professional. Left our garbage cans full of tape and RAZOR BLADES and pissed all over the toilet like little boys. What originally started out as a re-grout turned into a full shower renovation, and Adrian worked to fit us into his schedule. Our new shower looks good and Adrian also recommended a glass guy and the new shower door was very nicely done. There were a few bumps along the way. Some drywall was damaged (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/67tz8s69xbwf50i/AABB8GLyiyblX9rbtge8JJxVa?dl=0) by his demolition guy and Adrian repaired it, however, we had to do some additional spackling and all the repainting ourselves. One of our floor trim tiles popped off during demo which Adrian repaired but the grout was not matched well. We've requested he come back to repair that. An interior bathroom window was not masked off so we ended up with lots of dust in the bedroom. Some old shower door frame pieces were left on the side of the house. Although I'm taking a star off for these items, the quality of the tile work was pretty good. If you choose First Choice yourselves, make sure you are on their schedule and that everything is taken care of before the job is settled. read more
