We had to repair some broken tiles, and get experts to help us understand why some grout in one of our showers was perpetually moist and prone to getting gross. The repairs were a cinch and the took care of them quickly. The mystery was solved. There was a minor hiccup where they had to return to clean up some stuff because the old grout had soaked in more water than expected, causing some of the new grout to run, but the were quick to return and do that touch up for us. The tile and grout in the shower had become discolored and stained over the years. No amount of scrubbing and cleaning was effective. There are companies that will clean and reseal the grout but I had a feeling that wasn't going to solve the problem. After consulting with Dan, it was clear that what was needed was a complete re-grouting. Dan and his crew tackled this project, doing a re-grout of the floor and ceiling in addition to some areas along the walls. All of the tile was cleaned as well. When our upstairs shower started leaking into the floor below Dan saved us from the cost of a complete shower renovation. It took us a while to find replacement tile that we'd be happy with and Dan was patient and supportive each step of the way. And the final result turned out amazing. We moved into our new house and quickly found out the heated floor systems in two of our bathrooms had been installed incorrectly. To repair the broken wiring required tearing up pieces of our tiled floors. We provided matching tile and Dan was able to make it look like nothing had ever happened! Dan and John recently did some work for 4 of our bathtubs/showers. He gave us a quote after asking for some photos of the issues / problem areas and was able to fit us in within a week of approving the estimate. Two of the bathtubs required removing old grout, re-grouting, re-caulking and sealing. The other two were more minor re-caulking and sealing. The work was done over 2 days, and they were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. A tile had to be re-attached, and John did this work without charge. When the new caulking in our master shower didn't match color-wise to the grout, Dan and John came back out to fix the issue at no additional cost, to ensure I was happy with their work. My only criticism is that when they returned to fix the color mis-match, they removed all of the caulking only then to realize they didn't have the right color caulking with them, which then had to be ordered and took a week-and-a-half. This meant we were unable to use our Master Shower during that time. However, I'm assuming it could not be avoided given the shipping dates. Perhaps just double-checking they had the right color caulk available "before" removing it would have been better, for future reference. They were wonderful! They came out to fix some stained, grout in our master shower that needed to be cleaned and sealed. It was pretty heavily stained (see photos), but they did a great job getting it as clean as it could possibly be.
