    Tuna melt
    Ginger W.

My favorite thing about eating here is I always get two full meals out of each entree. The tuna melt is two entire sandwiches l! The inclusion of radishes , onions and pickled jalapeños are scrumptious! And I love that they use acme bread. My husband got the breakfast burgers and they were absolutely delicious! The tomato jam adds the best sweet tart balance to a fatty cheese greasy burger. And the English muffins are light and chewy. Fantastic brunch spot. I asked if they got a new chef and it turns out they did last November. It's really evident in everything they serve. Husband really enjoyed his chai latte as well. I appreciate the server Liliyana gave great suggestions as well!

The service was awesome and our server came by to keep checking in with us and extremely friendly! The outside patio looked awesome with one table that had a fire pit in the middle! I ordered a pot of tea and my friend ordered the mango mocktail that looked sooooo good! I order the steak and cheese while the flavors were there I asked for easy onion and mushrooms and felt like the sandwich was all onion and mushrooms and definitely needed more steak. The bread was delicious and had a decent amount of cheese but it was so skimp on the meat. As I was chowing down on the yummy fries which they give plenty of I found a hair...not sure if it was mine or not so I didn't tell the server. I would go back again but will definitely make a sure I ask for no onions or mushrooms on the steak and cheese sandwich to see if that will make the difference on the amount of meat.

The food here is consistently bright, fresh, and delicious! The menu is seasonal but there are year round menu staples. The service is warm and inviting. I prefer to eat on their inside/outside patio on a beautiful spring Sacramento day. I travel across town to dine here because I know I'll never be disappointed. I love the salmon burger for lunch and the clouds and rainbows for breakfast. The citrus and beets salad is amazing as well. Try everything! It is never too loud inside and the wait is never more than 15 minutes on a busy weekend. Parking is limited due to residential parking restrictions during the week, so plan for that.

great brunch place. their goat cheese omelet is hands down my favorite thing there. the fish tacos made me sad though, they just were NOT crispy enough. some waitstaff is a little off putting specifically a younger female waitress there. overall service is decent. i really like seating in the patio section, great asthenic. they give massive portions too so basically any plate could be shared. one of my recent favorite restaurants.

Hadn't been to Meet and Eat in a bit so thought I'd give it a try. Promptly greeted and sat at the bar. Pretty good selection of beers and decided on one of the stouts (sorry forgot the name) and decided to go with the Mushroom burger and fries. Beer tasted great and so did the hamburger. Only complaint is that the fries could have been a little crispier. Other than that and it getting a little loud once it started to fill up, had a great time and will be back soon!

Food was great. Lots of menu options. Servers were super friendly knowledgeable and quick. We came just after the lunch crowd. Beautiful establishment. Full bar. Patio. Nice decor.

Meet & Eat, solid place. Easy spot for a party of two. We started with the onion rings. Batter was great. Crispy and not greasy.I ordered the steak tacos. Good flavor, filling, no complaints. My date had the Seattle De Lux Burger. Big burger that looked really good. Casual, comfortable to sit and eat. Ordering felt easy and communication with staff went fine, which I appreciate. Good food, good experience. I'll come back.

Overpriced for what I got, but the service was good and the atmosphere was decent. I went with my girlfriend's to celebrate my bday since it was last week. I just wasn't thrilled with my food. The egg dish lacked flavor and the dish was so miniature. I'd give it one more try.

Labor Day, Monday morning, we came early to reserve as we were a huge party (17). Our server was great, sorry, I didn't get her name. Big kudos to her as for a large demanding party like us, she didn't miss a beat! I shared the smoked salmon benedicts and homemade banana bread French toast. I didn't care for the French toast but the smoked salmon benedicts was pretty good. The potatoes that came with was also cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. For a party as large as ours, the server didn't make a mistake, our coffee cups were never empty, nor did we have to flag her down for refills, and everything came out in a good time frames. They have a small parking lot however, there are plenty of parking on the street. This was my first time here however, for my cousin, who recommended this place, this is her favorite place. Their dinner menu looked good too. I think I will return to try that and would recommend this place for breakfast. I also love that this place a dog-friendly!

Dropped in to try, we were in the area, vibe was great, lots of great selections. Service was friendly, we went with the chia seeds and oatmeal it was delicious with the whole combination. Omelette meal was okay per my partner, and we liked the pancakes except they had this weird egg taste to them? Even with the syrup it was off. Overall good, would go again.

    Spaghetti carbonara
    Gina L.

Service was decent - we were seated and brought waters right away. The server came to check on us once while we ate. Refills on water seem to be self-serve. The restroom was clean, except an area of sticky floor. The food came out quickly. There were some big air pockets/holes in the garlic bread, but it had good flavor and a crunchy crust. The spaghetti carbonara had great flavor but was too salty, which could have been from the saltiness of the bacon seeping into the sauce or just overseasoning the sauce. The portion size is enough to make you full. The prices are about what you'd expect nowadays for eating out - a little expensive.

Had a nice brunch with my family here on a Sunday. No wait time which was great. Service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the fall and game a comforting vibe. The food was also pretty good. My mom said the western burger was the best she's ever had. The French toast and chicken and pancakes were also solid. I had the chicken Alfredo and I hated the peas inside of it, it also could've used more seasoning as it tasted a bit bland and the sauce was very runny. But I still ate the entire plate. I love the portion sizes as well. I will be back to try the steak fries and one of the burger options.

Again we get it was the bartenders area but you would think since it's the weekend you would have two bartenders working that area. When it comes to the food, my wife's brisket Benedict was pretty solid nothing crazy but my meal was probably the worst one.... When I hear the words " anything scramble" i think of a bunch of ingredients mixed together as a scramble. This was more of just scrambled eggs with some fried avocados on top. These breakfast "potatoes" were also dissatisfying and flavorless. I've worked in the restaurant business and can tell you that I hated when people sent plates back so I'm not one to send my plates back and make complaints, but this one was very close to me breaking that personal rule. Personally I don't think I'll ever come back at least not for their breakfast hours.

It's been years since I've been, mainly because of the long wait times and no reservations on weekends. As a planner, I gravitate toward places where I can make a reservation. However, it was a special occasion, so we committed to it on a holiday weekend. The wait was estimated at 1.5 hours for a party of 7, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The patio and waiting area are gorgeous and make the wait worth it on a beautiful day. Great shade from the trees, solid service, and a really nice ambiance overall. The menu is massive with a little bit of everything and huge portions, so it's quite hard to decide. I settled on the Madame Cristo because it sounded decadent and somewhere between lunch and breakfast, which felt perfect for brunch. And decadent it was. The cheesy ham and béchamel blended into this super rich, fatty bite balanced by the French toast it was sandwiched between. The eggs on top were almost overkill, but still a welcome addition for some protein. The chipotle raspberry jam was surprisingly good too, almost like a smoky raspberry salsa that added sweetness and helped cut through some of the richness. The potatoes were standard and nothing to write home about. It was definitely a lot, but pretty good and exactly what you expect from a brunch spot like this. I'm not going to say the food is mind-blowing, but it's solid and they have unique dishes, great vibes, and something for everyone to enjoy. Nice to see that Tower Cafe is still doing well after all these years and remains a great place to celebrate special occasions.
