Went on a monday so it wasn't too busy. Our waitress was super nice and brought out a candle for a birthday. Food was so delicious, especially the tiramisu. There course meal deal was definitely worth it.

Sacramento-Headed out to Rombauer winery for some tastings and wanted to fill up before we got there. This place, reminds me of an old country club restaurant with warm cozy features and a welcoming staff. They have a great array of things to choose from on their menu, so it was very difficult for us to make a decision. First things first, we ordered a bottle of wine along with an appetizer of summer melon with prosciutto. Absolutely delicious! Our entrées included an albacore-tuna sandwich, shrimp Louis salad, and a chicken sandwich. all three of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambience. A great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some great food. All three of our entrées were on point. The wine was tasty and the company was even better! It's a definite repeat when we are up in the wine country of Plymouth.

Met a friend during the holidays for lunch to catch up - I made reservations online as I knew how busy they get at lunch - they open at 11 and our reservation was for 1115 - when we arrived we were promptly sat in a booth ... I ordered a latte and my friend ordered a hot tea - good selection- we both opted for salads and I also tried the soup of the day - it was all fresh and tasty - this place is also a popular place at lunch and by noon it was packed and started to get loud - we left around this time ... the also have an outside area but it's been to cold to sit outside - highly recommend this restaurant

I am so glad we gave them another shot!! Our last visit was a huge disappointment, but tonight totally turned my opinion around! We were early for our reservation, so we had drinks at the bar - I had the Yuzu Lemongrass Collins and my husband had the Peachy Keen. My drink was absolutely beautiful and delicious! His was really tasty too. We sat outside on the patio and it was a perfect night for that! We started with the arancini - SO good!! I had the Campanella and my husband had the Jerk Chicken Pappardelle. Both were amazing! My Campanella was perfection! The flavors were well balanced and it was cooked perfectly. I would definitely get it again! My husband's dinner was loaded with chicken and spiced just right. Gabriel, our server, was really kind and just attentive enough! Our water glass was always full and everything was timed really well. Looking forward to our next visit!

We picked this place to celebrate New Year eve. It was an excellent choice. This places is really good. The best gnocchis that I ever had. The cocktails are delicious. Our waitress (Karina ) was very friendly, helpful with the menu, she gave was many good suggestions for food and drinks. Their restaurant looks clean, good decoration, good parking lot, I really recommend it.

Nothing screams a perfect first date like a beautiful ambiance, delicious food, dimmed lighting, and wonderful service. I thoroughly enjoyed my green salad as well as the creme brûlée I tried at Zinfandel Grille. I believe our servers name was Ivan. We saw that on the receipt. He provided prompt and amazing service. He was attentive and there was never a moment where we didn't have water or weren't checked on. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good spot for date night or even a dinner with a friend. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you to the great staff at this restaurant. You all deserve a holiday bonus!

I haven't been to this establishment in years. Still a old stlye classy restaurant in Fair Oaks. We went for happy hour. The vodka or gin option martini, I choose Vodka - ya can't go wrong w extra olives. Pepperoni pizza tasty, nice simple and very cheesy. And the brussel sprouts. The sauce on top was not what I expected. Not pleasing to the eye. Was not so tasty to me (meh), but my friend enjoyed the taste. But the way the brussel sprouts were seasoned and cooked made up for the sauce. Yum yum yummy. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and the other servers as well. Many guest sat at the bar seemed to be regulars. Great place for happy hour and dinner if live in FO or rolling through the area. And lots of wines and a full bar.

This dish was good.

We had dinner at Zinfandel Grille on a Friday evening with a party of 8, and the experience was great. Our waiter was very kind, attentive, and kept our water glasses filled throughout the night. The service overall was excellent. We ordered a variety of dishes to try. As many reviews mentioned, the calamari was delicious, nice and crispy and I can confirm that it lived up to the hype. One dish we tried was the fettuccine, which came in a red meat sauce. I don't remember if the menu described it that way, but I was expecting a white sauce, so it was a surprise. The noodles were green. I'm guessing they make their own pasta, and it was tasty overall. I ordered the pork chop, which was flavorful and cooked well. However, I didn't care for the sides that came with it. I would have preferred something more classic, like mashed potatoes or broccoli. Their pizza was a standout. I had the asparagus pizza and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure if it was baked in a stone oven, but the crust and flavor were excellent. The steak dish was just okay, not bad, but not my favorite of the night. Overall, I'd definitely go back and try more of their pasta dishes. The service and food made it a great dining experience.

Came for Mother's Day dinner so the menu was different than usual. The food was amazing though. I had a jerk chicken pasta dish and I would 100% come back for a nice date night and try some other things on their menu. The service was great and overall just a nice dinner date night spot with a significant other or celebrate a birthday here. I'll definitely keep this place in mind and return

Thanks, Liz! Based on what you shared, here's a warm and thoughtful review you could post: --- A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Zinfandel We recently celebrated my sister's birthday at Zinfandel Grille, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting and perfect for a special occasion, but what really made the evening shine was the exceptional service. Our server, (I believe his name is Daniel) was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right -- from helping us choose dishes to making my sister feel celebrated. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and arrived promptly. It's clear that Zinfandel Grille takes pride in both their cuisine and hospitality. We left with full hearts and happy memories, and we'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a special night out with loved ones!

Came here for a birthday and it was amazing! I use to live near this area and never tried this spot until now!? Loved all of our appetizers ( Brussel, brie with honey & slices of bread! ) We also had to try their beer & dessert. The beer was recommended by the staff and it reminded me of how much I enjoyed a cold one! We had to get 2. They were also so quick with coming back to our table when needed. As for the main course I had the brie & honey pizza while my husband had the other one in picture that I cannot remember. The brie and honey were definitely better. Finally, the dessert ( Crème brûlée ) was the best thing I had at this place! So creamy and not too sweet. Just the right balance! I really enjoyed the low lighting at this place, it felt so fancy but not too dark where we can't see our family or our food ha! So it did not take away from a great experience.

My wife and I went for valentines dinner here, and we were both blown away with every dish both in taste and preparation, one of the few places I would say serves almost too much food. The complimentary bread was light and fluffy and was more than just some lame bread. Our apps were the bruschetta and the fried ravioli. The bruschetta comes out on fresh toasted bread, just enough to give it a crunch but still with a soft center- the tomatoes tasted fresh and there is also some toasted cheese on the bottom and some garlic on top, definitely sets the bar for a good bruschetta. The fried ravioli were huge and completely filled with cheese, the fry was perfectly crispy and every bite was better than the last- the highlight though might have been the marinara it came with, which honestly might have been one of the best marinaras I've had at a restaurant, just super, super flavorful. Apps definitely get a 5/5 For our entrees I got the chicken parm and she got the spaghetti. I've said before in my reviews that I'm a bit of a protein snob and I love my extra protein, but without even asking the protein on each dish was more than enough, and the dishes themselves were enormous. My chicken was juicy, crispy, and super well seasoned. Her spaghetti has so much sausage in it, and it was so good- even the noodles themselves had a handmade bite to them. Just a fantastic 5/5 experience for both dishes. My only warning is to be careful of the orange drizzle, it's very spicy! Our service was both fun and polite, I unfortunately did not remember our servers name but he made it fun and helped answer all of our questions. If you are looking for Italian in this area please give this restaurant your business, everything about it is perfect.

But every time I visit Paesanos I get both of those things. On my most recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Clemens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find the perfect meal(Fettucine Arrositi) to fit my current dietary restrictions. He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He was pleasant all around, he was patient with my grandma all night and made me feel like he truly valued our time and didn't rush us. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. Now on to the food, I had the Fettucine Arrositi which I believe is their signature dish. I have had it before but this time it was especially delicious. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.

My wife and I ordered the Favorita, Fettuccine Pesto Fresco, and Pizza Rustica. When ordering the Favorita my wife asked if the goat cheese was pasteurized and the waiter said he didn't know. Unpasteurized cheese is unsafe to consume for immunocompromised individuals and it was very important to confirm if the cheese was pasteurized. Unfortunately, the waiter did not offer to find out if the cheese was pasteurized so my wife requested it on the side and was unable to consume it. Complimentary focaccia bread was served with olive oil that contained Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. The focaccia bread was the perfect consistency as it was not too soft or dense. The salad was served timely, however the pasta and pizza took a whopping 50 minutes to be served! No cheese or chili flakes were offered for the pizza. After the food was served the waiter did not check on us and we had to flag him down to get more water, parmesan cheese, and chili flakes for the pizza. The Favorita was an arugula salad that contained asparagus, yellow beets, and thin sliced radish. It was served with a large parmesan crostini which complimented the salad well and was a scrumptious addition. The Pizza Rustica contained artichoke hearts, spinach, tomatoes and cheese. The toppings were lacking as there were few small artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and a bare sprits of spinach. When I eat pizza I expect toppings in every bite, however there were only a few toppings per slice which was an extreme disappointment. The Fettuccine Pesto Fresco did not have a strong basil taste as I would expect from pesto. The fettuccine also tasted overcooked as the noodles were too soft. When I called to make a reservation I noted we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and was told that something special would be done in celebration. Since no one wished us a happy anniversary or made any mention of it my wife asked one of the servers if they do anything for anniversaries. They ended up providing a gelato with a sparkler in the center and took our picture. The strawberry gelato was tasty and the sparkler provided a neat affect. We were presented with our picture to commemorate the special occasion.

At the time, they had one cook and a manager who was also acting as the bartender and server for the whole floor. You could tell he was a little nervous at first with such a big party, but honestly, he handled it really well. He was friendly, energetic, and super transparent about what they were out of since everything is made fresh. He also did a great job explaining the dishes and cocktails, which we appreciated. Our group was pretty easygoing, and overall the experience felt fun and relaxed. The food came out looking (and tasting) amazing across the board. I ordered the gluten-free hot honey pizza, and it was a standout--perfect crust, nice balance of sweet and heat, and loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Definitely a win. One of my friends also ordered gluten-free and tried the pesto chicken pizza. Unfortunately, that one missed the mark--the chicken was overcooked, the pesto flavor was off, and the pizza itself was a bit bland. However, when she mentioned it, the server immediately made it right by remaking her pizza and not charging for it, which we really appreciated. The space itself has a great vibe--cute aesthetics and it sounds like they host events during the week like DJs and art nights, which is a fun touch. Parking can be a little tricky since it's on a busy intersection, but manageable. Overall, a really solid experience, especially considering our group size and no reservation. I'd definitely come back and would love to see gluten-free pasta options added in the future!

It's that mix of a lively sports bar with really good Italian food, all inside a historic space filled with sports memorabilia. Walking in feels like stepping back in time with all the vintage photos everywhere. Knowing Joe Marty, a former professional baseball player, originally opened his bar here back in 1938 and seeing how they've renovated it without losing that character makes it feel like a really special piece of the city. One of my favorite moments was when my husband ordered a Manhattan and the bartender came over and poured it tableside. It turned into this whole little production and the table next to us immediately ordered one too, which was kind of fun to watch. The food held up just as well. My teen had the spaghetti with marinara and meatballs on the side and finished the entire plate, which says everything. I told our waiter Sean to surprise me and he brought out the lobster ravioli and I was not mad about that at all. It was so good. My husband ordered the carbonara with shrimp and that was also a hit. The bread came out warm and fresh, but just a heads up the dipping sauce was pretty spicy. Our palates was definitely feeling it, so we ended up switching to balsamic and olive oil instead. Even the restrooms had things to look at, including old Land Park newspapers, which just adds to how much character this place has. Definitely a good spot to try Calamari - 5/5, one of the best calamari we've had! It had a nice light batter and the calamari was sooo tender. That was the best part. I don't like chewy calamri Linguine mare chiaro - 5/5. So good! Has a good creamy tomato flavor, tons of yummy seafood, and the fresh thin pasta had a good chew to it. The seafood was cooked perfectly. It also has the slightly kick/spice to it. Just FYI. It's very mild and my husband said he couldn't tell. Lasagna - 5/5, also very good. It's a big portion. The layers of lasagna were tender and easy to eat with a fork. I really enjoyed the flavors in the lasagna Kids pizza - 5/5, good traditional thin crust pizza and you can tell it was cooked in the brick oven Kids pasta (tube pasta with bolognese) - 5/5, good traditional flavors, my kids loved it and almost ate it all Vulcano dessert - 4/5, good tender molten lava type cake, the sea salt caramel ice cream that came with it is good on its own, but I would have preferred regular vanilla ice cream to balance out the richness of the cake

Very disappointing from beginning to end…read more I started with a classic Old Fashioned and it arrived in a margarita glass over crushed ice with two maraschino cherries. It honestly tasted more like an adult Shirley Temple without the carbonation. I had to send it back because it just missed the mark completely for what this drink should be. I then tried the margarita italiano, which also fell flat. It tasted more like something you would expect from a casual chain restaurant like Applebee's or Chili's, not a higher-end dining spot. The mango flavor tasted like a syrup/flavoring instead of fresh mango. For food, we ordered a pizza that was pretty underwhelming and not something I would go back for. My partner had the linguine mare chiaro, which was also just okay. The sauce tasted bland and one-dimensional, and the seafood did not stand out at all. We gave the tiramisu a chance hoping dessert might redeem the meal, and while it was the best part of the dinner, it was still only fine overall. Overall, the entire experience felt underwhelming and not aligned with what I would expect from the price point or reputation.
