Shawn, the Owner is a great Host! friendly, efficient, go's the extra step to accomodate customers. This Cafe is very convienant for this area. Not a great experience. Came in for breakfast/brunch on Sunday. The place was busy but not overwhelmingly so. We waited in line about 15 minutes to place our order and we're told there was a 40-minute wait for food. No problem, except I added a scone from the pastry counter so we could have something immediately because we were starving then was told it would have to come out with the rest of the food. Okay? A few minutes later, our drinks started coming out. Good drip coffee And an okay Toasted coconut cold brew. The scone finally arrived and was fantastic The main food started coming out after only about 25 minutes but then someone came over to say they had run out of bacon and couldn't make my (and several other people's) order so we need to pick something else. There isn't much on this menu that doesn't have bacon. Also, it's brunch, don't run out of bacon when you have no alternative on hand. Also, there is a grocery store literally next door. I changed my order to a roast beef panini that was just a couple of slicesof white bread that were smashed paper thin with one slice of roast beef and some cheese and other things inside. I've truly never seen any sandwich this thin. It tasted alright but for $12, that's a no-go. We will not likely be back. read more

I ordered a "Beefore there were stars" sandwhich for $14.50 and the sandwhich looked nothing like the picture. It was not a pressed panini but in fact barely toasted white bread with a trace of mustard, and beef. The presentation was poor and the food was tastless. I would not recomend this sandwhich. Found this place on here, and was happy to go for our first time. A cute small spot for a catch-up with my bestie. Outdoor seating was fantastic. A few tables allowed us to have unlimited time to have lattes and a fantastic bite to eat. The menu is small and delicious. The staff is gracious and kind. I stumbled upon this place with my 9 year old while we were getting our vehicle serviced. Great coffee, good food, a good beer selection, and lots of games. What a cool little spot! Also, I loved that they were extremely eco friendly...moreso than other places around here. They are also very kid and baby friendly. The game selection was super good. My husband and I are avid boardgamers, and their selection ranged from boardgame novice to boardgame expert. I will come back here again for more games and coffee! read more

I waited a long time for a beverage to go and while the taste was fine it was not hot, not cool for a first try. 3.5 stars The flow from entering to ordering with a sign in the middle aisle and people tossing after eat needs rework which why tip if the customer has to clean up and discard themselves ? Great place for breakfast. Loved the atmosphere. You can get as high quality of breakfast here as you would compared to First Watch or La Farms Bakery, but in my opinion, they have a better atmosphere with tons of cards and board games. There's a lot of culture and life in this place so that's why I like it. Eating both inside and outside were both good experiences. The owner is very amicable and gives off a home welcoming type of feeling to his customers. A lot of other places have elegance but this place has both elegance and warmth in their food and drinks served and atmosphere. Really loved the lunch special! Had a tasty fresh sandwich with turkey, apple, and brie and played Dominion. I also had a delicious smoothie and was sorely tempted to get a gigantic bakery treat. Service was fast and we nearly finished the game over our lunch break. It would have been nice to have a system to let game players know which games are perfect for a quick play. read more

This is a really cool place to try out new games! Love the concept, and the drinks we got were all very good. It took a pretty long time for us to get the drinks, though. Also, the first impression was not good at all. I pulled my mask down for no more than a second or two as I was adjusting it, and the worker made sure to tell me to wear it over my nose. Such intensity is neither necessary nor welcoming. People's germs are circulating all over restaurants and cafes while they eat/drink, so it really shouldn't be a big deal--definitely not something worth making your customers feel uncomfortable about. read more

Meeples Brew looked like it had good food on social media and sounded like a fun idea but I do not suggest the food as it is way overpriced and honestly not good. Their coffee is sub par at best which is sad since it's a coffee shop. It costs $5 per person to play a game and the game selection is not great. There were a lot of popular games I wish they had that they did not. The worst part is the owner was very rude to myself and other customers. Was skeptical of finding legit coffee in a Morrisville strip mall, but this place proved me wrong - coffee was fantastic. Made with care and served in (shocker!) actual glassware. Stopped by after yoga at TRC one day and was very impressed with this cafe! They have rentable board games for your stay there, they had a selection of canned beers and ciders, local art (painting, stickers, candles), the bathroom was very clean and offered sanitary items for those who need it. Also, the restrooms weren't Mens/Womens but instead said "whatever, just wash your hands" which was better than waiting in a line. The staff was super friendly/helpful and the coffee was AMAZING. My boyfriend got the drip coffee, black, and loved it and I thoroughly enjoyed my lavender latte. The only disappointing thing about this place is that it's all the way across town, but that just means that they need to open another location in Northwest Raleigh :) will be returning when we're in the area! read more
