Meadowlark is a decent bar/place to go on a weekend night. It's lively albeit on the dingier side, but I like that about it. It has a dive bar energy with decent music depending on the night. I would say it attracts a younger crowd about 20s-30s. I liked when they used to sell soju bottles! It's not the first place I think of when going out in Denver, but it's on the list.

Meadowlark has been a bar I've wandered in to many, many times on the weekends. They've always got something going on whether it's a DJ downstairs, karaoke night, jazz night, etc. Jazz night in particular is amazing. The group that normally plays there during jazz night is comprised of very, very talented musicians. Be aware that like most bars in the RiNo area, it gets absolutely packed on the weekends so be ready to wait a bit at the bar. One cool thing that sets Meadowlark apart from other bars in the area is the dark, moody atmosphere downstairs and the semi-outdoors area upstairs if you want some air. Both areas have bars so definitely check one out if the other is way too packed. Drinks here are very similar to all the other bars in the area. Not particularly expensive but definitely not cheap either.

If you fancy yourself a semi-ratchet jungle patio where you can blast heaters until you pass out, this is your spot. Drinks are not too pricey and the sloppy 1:30am dance moves are priceless. On Fridays there is usually a $5 cover charge but lemme tell you.. worth it. Once closing time rolls around, chances are you will have severe drunchies. Thankfully, Meadowlark has you covered with a bangin' taco truck that is within stumbling distance. Make sure to scarf down 7-8 tacos with the hottest salsa they have to top off a night full of likely regrettable decisions.

Funky and weird in a good way. They usually have a DJ on Saturday's. Mixed crowed, not overly packed. I was a big fan of the vibe. They have an underground bar which was a whole unique vibe in itself. Enclosed patio outside. Cool place to go to with friends and chill

I caught the Homeboy Sandman concert last month at the Meadowlark Bar. Loved the set up, lights, stage and the working staff at the bar and front door were all nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

This review is for their OPEN MIC (Tuesday's at 9pm) It'll be pretty empty at 8:30pm but I would suggest arriving around that time if you want to have first pick for your time-slot. People started coming in closer to 9pm. They put out the list at 8:40pm and have you sign up for the time-slot you want starting at 9pm with 15 mins intervals (amount of time for your set). The organizer is very adamant about the time and pretty punctual when each set starts/ends. I'd say by 9:30pm there were around 35 people. That's when I decided to play. I stayed until 10pm so can't say how crowded it got after that. Apparently later is when more people show up. The bartenders are super nice and attentive.

Wish I had read the reviews before going here. Like others who've had a terrible experience at this establishment, I've worked in the service industry for about a decade. A friend and I went to Meadowlark at 1am on a Tuesday. They close at 2am. Apparently it was a slow night and we were turned away even though they still had customers in the bar. No worries- we left. 4 patrons walked into the bar. I waited a moment to see if they walked back out since I was told they were closed. When they did not, I walked back into the bar and spoke with the bouncer who said "this is my roommate & my friends". So they turned away paying customers to let in their scrub homies. Tony sucks at his job & I will NEVER return to this dump again. Way to go Meadowlark. Clearly a managerial disconnect.

Good drinks CHEAP compared to others we ordered in the area. Seemed a bit sketchy walking down in, but we enjoyed it!

I see they just added a cute hanging side on the front, so it's easier to locate. Their interior is divided by the huge rectangular bar in the middle. It gives space to both sides. There are TVs all around. There is also an outdoor patio that is perfect for warmer nights. I've been a handful of times and was able to experience it busy and slow! The first time we went is for an event after a Billy Strings concert, and the place was packed. Even then, the drinks came pretty fast. On the slower times, I was able to order their craftier cocktails. Their cocktails are decent. The major upside of this place is the prices! I find them to be on the cheaper side of Denver drinks. Latchkey has quickly become a go-to of mine and can't wait to see them grow more!

There are so many activities you can participate in - pool, darts, a "fun" vending machine that does not disperse food or drink, watch sports, photo booth, hang outside on their patio, hang inside at the numerous tables and chairs, or hang out at the bar with the bartenders - there is so much to do! You can bring your own food in as well. It is set up for large groups! Service was great, tables were clean as was the bathroom. It's a fun place to be, especially on a Saturday night!

Two others had a couple of the special cocktails on the menu and loved them. We decided to order six appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts. We split everything four ways so it ended up like a nine course tasting menu experience. Who knew cabbage could be so good? Haha!!! Standout dishes were the qual, clams, borscht, warm salad and the desserts. The place is small so reservations advised. Wait staff and cooks are friendly. Aside - one person in our party wasn't enthused about Eastern European cuisine and was a convert by the end. If you enjoy well-prepared, delicious food full of taste, check out Molotov. There is a reason this was rated one of the top restaurants in the US a few years ago.

He gave us recommendations and was proud of how much food we ordered between two asian women. The affirmation paired well with the food. Our favorite was the Clambasa. I was worried the kielbasa would overpower the littleneck clams but it was perfect together. You can taste all the ingredients in the dish well. The bone marrow was gone before I could take a picture---rightfully so. But the horseradish mustard blew my mind. The ONLY reason I'm not raving anout the Shuba salad is because a good friend of mine makes it so much better. No skin off of Molotov's back at all, homemade at custom to me will always win. The quail was a disappointing. I didn't notice that the sauce was listed as BBQ. I could not taste the quail. By the time the Porchetta came, we were readilly full...but that didn't matter. Crisp, fatty and flavorful. I recommend the horseradish horilka for all the dishes. Lastly, the pistachio blintz. "Not too sweet," is the Asian's highest praise to any dessert and this deserves it. LOVELY and light. A perfect end to a rich and savory dinner. And no, do not pair this with the horseradish horlike (just in case you were wondering). For this visit, my sister and I decided to sit in the patio area and sit under their local resident regular, the squirell in the tree (his name is Vlad, but his street name is Chad). But next time, I would op to sit inside. It is very cozy with PLENTY of things for your eyes to scrutinize. The first visit was not enough to take everything in, both visually and gastricly (no more room left). A repeat visit is warranted and highly recommended.

The pizza, burger and fries were amazing. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are always delicious as well. Usually restaurants have one or two good items but, Atomic Cowboy has impressed me with everything I've tried there. The pizza is traditional thin NY style, their burger is award winning and their biscuits are a local favorite! The restaurant was decorated so nicely for the holidays, it was very festive. The staff were friendly but, were having some issues with a new ordering system and ended up missing one of our items. Also, I was disappointed with the kids chicken biscuit, it was very small. But, overall we love this place and it has something for everyone!

Atomic Cowboy is not worth the money…read more The burger I had was embarrassingly thin -- closer to two pieces of cardboard than a real hamburger. For the price they charge, there should be some actual substance, flavor, and quality. Instead, it tasted dry, flat, and completely underwhelming. Charging around $14 for a burger and another $5 for fries might make sense at a place delivering a premium product. This does not. A large slice of pizza does not excuse everything else on the menu being overpriced and mediocre. There are better burgers in Denver for less money. Shake Shack, for example, gives you a juicier, better-tasting burger for several dollars less. That says a lot when a casual chain is outperforming a place charging more. This feels like one of those restaurants surviving off hype, location, and people accepting low standards. The food is not special. The burger was not good. The price is not justified. I would not go back, and I definitely would not recommend.
