Claim cowder was Luke warm. More cold than hot.

Parking was great. The fried shrimp are out of this world amazing. The tartar sauce and honey mustard are highlights as well. The service was fast and friendly. The setup is great for family or friend. They have great specials and tasty drinks. I would return but I would never order the fried fish. It was oily, unseasoned, and lacked fried breading on one side. It was something that should've been sent back but it was not worth the trouble. I just would not order that again.

The fish and chips are a must. So light, crisp, and warm. I've dined in and gotten take out and both are great. The physical location is a little outdated inside but the food makes up for it.

I took the rest of my mac & cheese home in this box. I appreciate it is recyclable. Good job McGraths

Today I stopped in for a lunch. I decided to go with a pound of Dungeness crab. I've never really had it here. I got the mac & cheese and Caesar salad salad to go with. It comes with really tasty bread and butter. The crab came on the same plate as the mac & cheese. I would prefer that separate. The mac & cheese is super cheesy and flavorful. It is really good. Five stars The crab was OK. I could smell it when it came to the table which is a bit off putting. I decided to go ahead and give it a try anyway. It was good, but I could tell it wasn't super fresh. In their defense, Dungy is out of season right now. However, I did eat a pound of crab over a week ago at the place on the Columbia that is famous. It was seven dollars more than this pound of crab, but super sweet and fresh tasting. So IDK. I usually get the shrimp Louie here or some of their fresh fish. Always good I sat in the bar in the service was great. My server was very attentive and checked back several times on me. Which I appreciated that because I needed more lemon and butter. All in all, always a good experience here and I definitely will come back

Garden salad and bowl of clam chowder was a fantastic choice. Table service was excellent by Jamie, full drinks and cleared dishes. Will return.

We decided to try McGraths for a second time, since our first experience was so favorable. We expected to be wowed again. Unfortunately , our experience was the opposite. The service excellent and the waiter was both cordial and punctual. Moreover, he was sympathetic to our bad experience. To begin with, anything we wanted on the menu wasn't available, therefore , we resorted to Calamari for an appetizer , which wasn't bad at all and the fish taco platters, which were literally soaked in oil! The whole taco glistened, as if the Exxon Valdez dumped gallons of oil over McGraths Fish House. Needless to say it looked, tasted and smelled inedible. In turn we both returner our orders. The waiter was nice enough to comp us, and we left with just as simple bill of Calamari as an appetizer. needless to say we won't be coming back here anytime soon. This experience was gastronomically traumatic, and it looks like we need to venture into Portland to find a high quality fish serving restaurant. In summary McGraths Fish House appears to be hit or miss. In perusing previous reviews the common theme seems to focus on how oily, smelly and bad tasting the fish entrees have become. Once bitten twice shy now.

The actual food is good, but charcoal bits in the grilled oysters, hair in the baked potato and bones in the fish. I'll pass next time

The service was good but most of our food was either out or cold. The key lime pie tasted off and had 4" of whipped cream on it

But no one helped us or wanted to go over the menu. We got shrimp, carnitas tacos. The portion sizes were LARGE! However, the food was amazing! 10/10 The plating of the dishes were also 10/10 Portion sizes very generous I got a carnitas quesadilla and WOW it was as huge! Clean ingredients Beer was ice cold *we order and aqua Fresca, which was delicious. It was $5 for about 6 oz and mostly ice. I know they make it in house but jeez it was very pricey. Very casual ambiance, good place to grab happy hour. You can sit, have a beer and watch a sports game at the bar. During warmer months they have a patio. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Also the music is great and the lighting is immaculate.

The correct way to make quesabirria you deep fry corn tortillas with meat and cheese the way quesabirria is supposed to be made You used a thick Gordita Tortilla prepared it yesterday shoved it into a cooler then microwave them next business day. This is completely unacceptable and shameful I am a lost for words my family also owns a Mexican restaurant we take pride in our food quality and I'll leave you the owners with this honest question where is your Mexican pride our heritage is expressed in our food and so let me ask you what happened to you? I ordered the chips and salsa as well as the machete. The machete was half and half with lengua (tongue) and suadero. Given the price, I was expecting something large and they absolutely delivered on that. It was well cooked, the lengua had a nice flavor to it, and I appreciated the hot sauces available on the table. The decor inside is very nice, however, when I went in the restaurant had a scent of bathroom cleaning products. Not just a fresh or clean smell, but that scent you get from those overly scented chemical products. To be honest, that was the only downside. If it wasn't so strong and overpowering, I don't think I would have given anything less than five stars. The food is absolutely amazing, the portions are awesome, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend going here and getting the food and I will absolutely be back.
