One star for Ambiance great view , One star for Service very friendly but a little on the slower side. Their appetiser piqued my entrance but the crab melt is why I said immediately yes but they were out and the first drink came in a dirty glass. I the veggie burger was decent fries were yummy. If your in the area and what a laid back but nicer ambience this is the spot . Great photo ops !!!

Food and service were ok. Portions were adequate. Not sure they were worth the price. The view was nice, unfortunately the place is on the airport flight path.

Went on a limb trying 3 Sheets at the Harbor and it was amazing! It was a true harbor style sit down restaurant that is definitely a night life on a Friday night. The food here tasted unbelievable it was fresh full of a bunch of flavor that melts in your mouth. The service was a little slow with only a couple tables being used but would still recommend

I just recently went back here. Hadn't been back since 2019. So glad I went back finally. The foraged mushrooms were so decadent and rich. I absolutely loved them. The beet salad was good and the vegetarian burger was fantastic. I love the beautiful location and views. Service was super fast for our appetizers. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and bring out of town guests here.

Gorgeous river views are what you come here for. They do have a happy hour so that's probably a good time to come. Nice outdoor patio overlooking the river. It's kind of like hotel restaurant type food, but the wings were surprisingly good. Spinach & Artichoke Dip was also pretty good. Probably would pass on the Fish Tacos next time. Just come here to enjoy some nice weather and/or the fire pit and you'll be in good shape!

Last weekend was my first visit to 3 Sheets, although my wife had been here before; apparently a friend of hers was the head chef that helped establish the restaurant during its Grand Opening. That was many years ago, and with him having left aspiring to reach greater culinary heights in Hawaii, it seems that things have dwindled in his absence over the years. We originally came out to Hayden Island to revisit the Island Cafe, but as the wait there was interminably long, we drove a little further down the way and headed to 3 Sheets, where we were happily seated immediately at a long table on the patio, replete with a (currently unnecessary, due to the heat) fire trough than ran its length. We ordered drinks (well, *drink*, as I am back on the keto diet and avoiding carbs as much as possible) and appetizers from the Happy Hour menu: deviled eggs, brussels sprouts with pork belly, plus the steak sandwich, sans bread, for myself. Things arrived in an adequate amount of time, and the deviled eggs and brussels sprouts were pretty fantastic, I will admit. The eggs were creamy and well-seasoned, and the brussels sprouts, in their balsamic glaze, were savory-sweet-bitter in all the right proportions. The pork belly didn't do much for either of us (it never does, anywhere), due to its high fat content, but that is no fault of the restaurant. Just our personal taste. On the other hand, my "enjoyment" of my steak sandwich suffered from similar circumstances. The meat was cold, tough and excessively fatty, to the point where the horseradish (which should have accompanied the sandwich, as it is on the menu, but had to be requested) and steak sauce combo could only just barely salvage it. Utilizing a fork and knife to tackle it, I couldn't imagine having to tear through it with my teeth alone. Unfortunately, things did not improve for the remainder of the meal, as our waiter had completely disappeared after dropping off our entrees, apparently being sucked into bartending duty inside the dining room, despite the fact that there was another (rather curt female0 bartender already there. We waited ~20 minutes after completing our meal before being forced to flag down another waitress, who took another 10 minutes to bring us the check, and then...she also disappeared. We were forced to take our bill to the less-than-friendly lady bartender, who sent us back to our table to wait another 5 minutes before someone came over to take the bill and our card for checkout. All told, nearly 40 minutes passed before we could get the hell outta there! I'd be willing to give 3 Sheets another shake, once I'm off this ridiculous keto diet again, and am no longer forced to cannibalize the menu for something I can eat, but I'd be leery of the service. I'd probably ask for the check to be delivered along with the entree, just to guarantee I can get away in a reasonable amount of time. And I certainly won't be trusting anything steak related without considerable reconnaissance (aka checking to see the quality of other diner's red meat entrees before committing to anything).

3 Sheets is a hidden gem! They have a great happy hour, a beautiful outdoor patio in the yacht club area. We chose to sit outdoors even though it was 90° that day. They have umbrellas for the tables so that was a bonus. The store front is located inside the Yacht Harbor Club Apartments on the Columbia river. There's a large parking area and follow the signs. My friends and I arrive towards the end of happy hour but ordered the spinach artichoke dip that is served with grilled garlic toast for an appetizer. It was a good portion. The dip was blended which I have never seen before but it tasted good. The toast on the other hand was not toasted well enough to be crispy... It was just like bread. The waitress we had was very nice and helpful. She provided us with their dinner menus and took drink orders immediately. My ice tea was fresh. For dinner I ordered the Halibut Fish and Chips. It came pretty fast because we were still finishing up the appetizer. My dinner was served with half a grilled lemon, coleslaw, fries, tartar sauce and catsup. The fries were super good... Crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. The coleslaw was OK... There wasn't a lot of it to get a real idea. The halibut fish was not that good... It didn't even taste like halibut. In fact it did not taste like anything... It was strange. Two of us ordered it and didn't finish it. :-( One of my friends ordered the burger which was absolutely amazing and the other ordered the ravioli which was delicious as well. I will give this place another try because it's absolutely beautiful in the summertime... And I will be trying something else on their menu.

The clam chowder was amazing. Not too thick and there were lots of clam. It also was not too heavy and salty. The portion was very reasonable, too. I loved it! I asked them to have the seafood grilled and they did a good job. It had oysters, cod, shrimp and scallops. Everything was nice and the shrimp and scallop combo had a nice and bold flavor. I wish I had some rice or pasta to soak up the rest of the sauce. It was delicious. I stole a few waffle fries from my dad and they were fried nicely! I enjoyed it! Laulau, chicken long rice...CHICKEN LONG RICE! I haven't had that in years and suddenly my mouth was watering. None of the other plate lunch/Hawaiian food places in PDX have had that to my knowledge, and I needed to have it now. My dining companion was taking in the meat jun on the menu, as well as the fried rice omelette. We went in and ordered the chicken adobo fried rice omelette and chicken long rice on the side. Double starch, double chicken, check. Loved that the menu pointed out they serve koshihikari rice. I knew I was in good hands. No medium grain rice for this gal. The service was friendly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. There was a nice note on the wall saying the table would be bussed by staff, so we didn't have to play the guessing game of "search for the bus bins." Clean tables, bright light from the windows, good food. The adobo gravy on the omelette was winnahs. The omelette itself was not holding a candle to Elena's Food Truck, but tasty and filling. The chicken long rice was perfect. The only improvement would have been a nice hit of white pepper, maybe. The only thing not quite to my liking was the mac salad, but that didn't stop us from mopping our plates clean. We will be back for everything else on the menu.

We discovered Island Cafe for the first time this past summer. Hot day, been at Rooster all day, exhausted and needed a drink and dinner... why not end the day on the River? Island Cafe is a floating restaurant on the Columbia River. It holds a great deal of people, but expect to wait. That's part of the charm. They're busy. They're always busy. Doesn't matter when you go, they're busy. Staff is always seemingly smiling and friendly. Be ready to give your order fast, everyone wants a table and they're always working through their wait list. The drinks are just fine. Nothing special. They usually show up in a timely fashion. They do well at both cocktails and martinis, I've had both (of course!) Food is pretty solid. This is a glorified bar but their chef does right by their patrons. I've had a chicken sandwich that was good and one of their salads. I really like the salad. It was huge and filling. I also want to compliment the serving staff today. Even though the restaurant was very busy, they were attentive, friendly, professional, and had great service mind throughout our visit. I really appreciated their hard work and kindness.(Thank you Rachael) Unfortunately, our experience ended on a sad note. As we were walking out of the restaurant, there was a dog underneath a table located along the exit walkway. We did not even notice the dog was there until it suddenly jumped out and attacked my dog. It shocked and scared me very much. I am a-dog lovers, and i forgive the dog itself -- animals can react unexpectedly sometimes. However, the owner was not following the restaurant's leash policy, which is clearly stated by the restaurant. My dog behaved very well the entire time: calm, quiet, and never aggressive toward anyone. I hope the restaurant can kindly remind all customers with dogs to keep them leashed and close at all times for everyone's safety and comfort. What upset me the most was that I never even received an apology from the dog owner, even though their dog initiated the attack.
