I am honestly beyond impressed with Ellan, the woman working the front of the restaurant. She was hard working , attentive , I mean by far the BEST service we've ever received at a McDonald's .. and honestly better than most true sit down places. This location is under the worst management, staff works so slow and the drive through is even slower while the manager wipes the counter instead of helping there staff compleat the orders. Anyway, we stopped by here after swimming in Lake Shasta for some lunch. I think I had a cheeseburger and it was mostly unmemorable. The french fries are my favorite at McDonald's, so I made sure to order a medium and wolfed mine down. This place is the absolute worst. It is a time warp that sucks you in for an hour while you wait for a drink and a breakfast sandwich. My husband and I stopped by for a "quick bite" while traveling and waited 25 minuted in the drive thru. When we got our sausage biscuits my husband took a bite and pulled a hair out of his mouth. Yuck!!! My ice tea ended up being a sweet tea. Just awful. We were so disgusted. We will never be back. read more

They take forever and bad service. You will wait a minimum of 15-20+ mins in the drive through. You're better off going inside.

You definitely gotta visit this McDonalds and sit inside. They have a nice location with a fireplace and a seating table in front of it which feels real cozy and unlike any other McDs I have seen :-) Nice artwork on the walls and a separate kids section makes this location our favorite. read more

Went to McDonald's tonight and order the number 3 which is a double quarter pounder meal on the way home I decided to eat my burger when it didnt taste or feel right so I pulled over to look at my burger to see it was raw both patties....i went to have a drink of my coke to realize I wasn't given a straw....hopefully I don't get sick. read more

Would give negative stars if I could! This place is run and staffed by morons. Went inside to order food and waited at counter for almost 10 minutes before we had our order taken. Staff was only focused on drive thru customers. Not one employee came over to help or offer apology for wait. Guess this is the new norm for minimum wage help they just don't give a crap and customer service is non existent. read more

This is usually our last pee stop on our way into Oregon and I choose this one over Yreka's simply because it is in "Weed" and I like to say I peed in weed. They have remodeled the inside of this location since our last trip up to Oregon-all except for the bathroom which seriously needs some help. At 9:30 P.M. they were working with a skeleton crew. The average wait for customers to get their food was 20 minutes. We were traveling through and had a long drive ahead of us. We just wanted breakfast and didn't see pancakes on the menu. When I asked the girl behind the counter if the had pancakes she said she had no idea. I asked, "You don't know if you have ever sold a pancake?" She just laughed. The help was friendly enough and weren't in a big hurry so we waited. read more

Isn't even worth a star. Waited 30mins in the drive thru, got charged for an extra drink, received one burger. Waited 15 more minutes inside for the one burger which they made wrong. I asked for a refund and they made a burger in 2 seconds right in front of me while I stood waiting up front for 15 minutes and the only customers they had were in the drive through. The "manager" had a friend and her mom hangin out talking with him behind the counter as well....super unprofessional. And out of the 7 workers there were possibly two actually working. Then a "cleaning" lady with a Safeway apron on and McDonald's name tag collecting trays and standing around. We eat here probably between 1 and 3 times per week. The workers are really cool people, friendly, funny, nice, etc. All the food tastes pretty good. I gave this place 4 out of 5 because I only have one complaint-- The fries never seem to be very fresh.... I mean kinda tough and not very hot. Not sure if that means they are stale, or they were cooked too long? I dunno. But they just didn't have that "fresh and soft-yet-crispy" taste. There's a a very long section of slide that is really unsafe. I have never seen kids fly down a slide so fast. Small kids shoot out of the opening. There's not enough runway to even stop.
