Absolutely the SLOWEST service ever. We finally left. This is typical for this location. Who wants to wait 20-30 minutes for fast food???

This is the worst Mcdonald I have been to. It took over 20 minutes to get the order. Only a couple of customers inside waiting on them. They said they were waiting on fries. When we got the order the fries were warm at best and the hamburger was burnt, cold, and dried out from sitting. It was so cold the cheese wouldn't even melt. No condiments on the sandwich and the bun was hard and dried out. Wish I would have checked it out before I left. I'll never go back. read more

Update 2-28-18 Omg!! They have to get the lady koleen out of the drive through. She does not keep things going and is rude!!! Bring back Stephanie. Now that girl is great for business. Anyhow I thought I would try it again. And was again disappointed. First update: Not sure what has happened at this McDonald's but I have been going there regularly for the last couple of years but in the last 4-6 months it has been HORRIBLE!!! They have replaced the drive through people with people that don't know or care what they are doing. Just today, no one answers speaker so I drive through only to see the person at the food pick up window chatting with the car about personal stuff. Then being told only cash. Again. Anyhow if your traveling your better off going to the next McDonald's down the road then going to this one. read more

OMG ! $3.99 for a reeealy small egg McMuffin ??? What a rip...

Terrible! We stopped for lunch on 1/21/16 at a little after 11:00 a.m. We both ordered the #2 which was two small cheeseburgers and fries. All four of the burgers were cold with a cold unmelted piece of cheese. The meat looked like a cold piece of ground jerky meat. I think these were left over from the day before and they may have been micro waved. Whatever they did they were not freshly made and COLD. We travel frequently between Grants Pass and Redding and stop here frequently but sorry, not any more. I think we will spend a little more time for a quality meal at the Hi-Lo restaurant in downtown Weed. read more

Waited 30 minutes for my food outside. They forgot about us I guess. Probably 20 cars went by. Gave us a free medium fry and two free drink coupons for our wait. Too bad they are only valid in this area because we live 10 hours away and were just passing through. At least the order was correct. read more

We stopped to grab a bite. I asked the sizes of cocoa and she said small, medium and large. I already knew that, so I asked to see the size of the cup. She turned around and yanked them out of the dispenser and the turned back to us and basically shoved them towards our faces as if doing a "flipping you off gesture " with the cups. Located an exit just south of Weed, it's a pretty regular McDonald's with a segregated section for families with small kids who want to go into the play structure. Bathrooms were disgusting as usual. Easy in and out for freeway. read more

My family and I have been here a couple times for a quick stop heading to Oregon. The people are unfriendly, get orders wrong and have even undercooked food items, let's just say it was partially frozen still. Ridiculous! Don't waste your time here. The only reason they seem to be that busy in the morning is because Burger King doesn't open till later - wait for the next stop and get some better food and service! read more

Ordered a 2 for 5 Big Mac and a Quarter Pounder. Disgusting..... on both sandwiches the meat was dry the buns were cold and hard. The Bigmac only had a pinch of lettuce on it and too much onions. And the quarter pounder had way too many onions on it also. You really need to spend some time training with your grill cooks so they know the right amount of condiments to put on the sandwiches. Just to let ya'll know my boyfriend ordered a Big Mac except he didn't get either of his beef patties! He took a bite and said "Hmm Big Macs aren't what they used to be" right after he noticed it was lettuce and cheese he threw it out the window. Ya he was pretty pissed. Has anyone noticed the stray cats they are feeding? Saw some stray cats (especially at night) in the parking lot. Thought strange.... but then went through drive-thru and found that they have a house for the cats, a large bucket of cat food, and pan of water. We usually stop here on our way to and from Oregon and enjoy it. Stopped in this time around 8 p.m. and the place was filthy. Tables dirty, garbages overflowing and the staff not caring at all. This one star is for this one time that I've had bad service. I ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget and got a 4 piece chicken nugget because someone didn't hear well enough. No worker even asked about my sauce for the chicken nuggets and I had to ask for it myself. All of the services that I have gotten from before visits were amazing but now it sucks. Worst service ever. Sat in the drive thru from 20 minutes before we even got to order (couldn't back out because there were cars behind us and 5 cars in front of us) we finally get up to order and after we order the lady asks us if the order is to go (mind you we are in the drive thru). We finally get up to the window to order and the lady sat at the window with the window closed for about a minute and then opens it to take our money and you would think at that time she would apologize for the long wait....ummm nope nothing. So we pull up to the next window to get our food and that kid there didn't say a single word not even hi, good morning or yet even an apology for the long wait. I did not appreciate the fact that I was lied to. I understand the employees need to upsell. But to tell me I have to at least go medium to get a combo is ridiculous. If that is the case, then why is there a small menu price for the combos on the drive thru menu board. I hate liars. I stopped here to get something quick to eat. For many years, while traveling up and down I-5 in far northern California, I have stopped at this McDonalds. It was very well run and was a great place to work for students at College of the Siskiyous. Now, it appears to be under new ownership. Today was my last visit and it was a true disaster. a) They were taking cash only. b) the older person behind the register seemed like she was on Quaalude. c) I never got a receipt and barely got my order because I had no number. d) the fries (which I didn't really order) tasted like day before leftovers. Folks, there is a Burger King, a Taco Bell, and a Subway franchise at South Weed. Give up on McDonalds. I am guessing that the same people who own the wretched KFC down in Mt. Shasta City now own this McMESS. good news, tho......a new STARBUCKS is being built next door! read more

It shows here McDonald's closes at 1:00 a.m. I pulled up at the drive thru around 12:00 a.m. last night one of the employees came out and yelled "it's fucking closed" this was totally uncalled for. He could have been more respectful. I just had to put out what this employee did. read more

After every track meet at Yreka High School my school will always stop at this McDonald's, and I have to say it never disappoints. Even when 20 of us coming rushing in tired and hungry the workers are always welcoming, and serve us as quick as possible. I have nothing but positive memories from stopping at this McDonald's after every long grueling track meet. Couldn't be more pleased. read more

This McDonald's is the highlight of my commute every week from Oregon to California, and for one reason. I find that it is always the people that define a business, and one in particular in this case, Darlene. I believe she has been there about seven years, and she brightens up my morning when I stop for coffee. Always a nice smile, fabulous and personal with the customers, and she treats everyone more like family than just a customer. And she knows that I commute and always has a kind word for me, which I appreciate on a cold morning drive. McDonald's is very fortunate to have her, I wish the world made more Darlene's!
