The tacos were amazing actually and more than reasonably priced! My beef is that the guys seem to serve the locals first. A group of his friends had finished their meal by the time I got my single taco. When I asked, if maybe my order got lost in the shuffle, the prep guy gesture to mine, which was behind a couple other orders. This place hits the spot after waterfall chasing all morning long. We had a late lunch here and was happy this place was open. We came here the night before and didn't know its closed after 4pm. This place provides good sized portions for affordable prices and an interesting combo, Mexican and German/American foods! One half of the menu consists of burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Everything less than $8! The other half of the menu consists of sausages and hot dogs with everything less than $5. Super cheap! I tried the big nasty with chicken which is a burrito coated with chili with a side of cabbage, salsa and chips. My fiance had the Germany kraut dog with strawberry lemonade. All of our foods came out to about $15. The big nasty was huge! I barely made a dent in my burrito. The beef chili was pretty good, although a bit salty. I loved dipping the chips in the chili. There were a lot of black beans in the burrito, so warning for those who don't like beans. My fiance's Germany kraut dog was a good size for the price; he was still hungry after so he helped me eat the big nasty. We had some as leftovers for dinner. Tons of foods! The strawberry lemonade was really good, not too sweet and sour, and comes with free refills. Definitely worth it! We definitely enjoyed this German/Mexican food stand and would come back here next time. Don't expect authentic Mexican foods, expect hearty and comforting meals after a long day of your outdoor adventures. Would love to try their fish tacos next time! read more

If you see them open and you're hungry you have to stop and try something from their menu. If you're there on a weekend you can have the opportunity to experience the fish they have selected for their infamous fish tacos! Came here passing through from SoCal, and I must say the fam and I were pleasantly surprised! These people know how to cook! We tried both the Mexican food and the German. Both were delicious. Certainly not Mexican or any other type of central American cuisine. Food was ok. "The Works" I was hoping for tortilla chips and some good cheeses under a salamander for a quick sec to melt cheeses then the rest of the toppings. It was nacho cheese, some black beans, a slice or two of gabbage, some meat. And sour cream. It was OK. Luckily they are not in the Bay Area. Theyd be shamed and be accused of cultural appropriation. This place has one of the best Seattle Dogs I've ever had. This may be one of the best hot dogs I've ever had anywhere....seriously. If you've never had cream cheese on a hot dog, chill out and open your mind cuz it only works like a parachute. If they don't have cream cheese, they have substituted with any cheese and lemme say,...it's still the best hot dog for at least 500 miles. Thank y'all so much!!! I drive thru Mt. Leaving Shasta after camping for a few days on the mountain, I stopped for a local meal before hitting the road home. I ordered the Big Nasty thinking I would drive and eat at the same time. Nope. This was a sit down meal so I sat outside and enjoyed the amazingness that is the Big Nasty. Grilled chicken, black beans, other stuff..in a burrito topped with chili. So great, and so fulfilling after 5 days of hiking. And they are local business! read more

We've been wanting to try this place for forever, but they're always closed when we drive by. This time we got them open. Dog was on the charred side, but honestly it was great. Really got the grill flavor, which some times lacks when places say they have it. This place has a well seasoned grill, you can taste it in the food. Haven't tried the Mexican fare. read more

No longer a fan of this place. The menu has changed a bit. The burritos are a bit dry. The fish taco has a huge piece of grilled fish but salty. Quesadilla has lots of grilled chicken and shredded cabbage. The strawberry lemonade is still good. read more
