We've been regular customers for breakfast for years now. We come to the area for fly fishing twice a year. Bogeys was a gem. Best breakfast in the state! I'm sad to report that it has come under new ownership. It's no longer a special breakfast. Very mundane. Limited options. The breakfast fries are gone. Chicken fried steak gone. Service was good. But the meal was no longer exceptional. It's no longer a must stop on our biannual fishing trips! Disappointed. read more

I had a turkey club with sourdough roll modification that they were very accommodating with. I love a place that doesn't say, "No, we can't do that." Always have the best food and big portions. McCloud is a hidden gem! My wife and I drive 250 miles to spend time in McCloud and eat at Bogey's and Butcher block which I heard is the same owners. Lucky community to have some of the best food I've ever had! read more

A party of 9 of us showed up today. The team work was really Impressive. From cleaning the tables to our drink orders to appetizers and main meals. The food was real good, the service was great but the coffee was gross. Food to go is put into a plastic container. They close the 1st of Nov. and open at the Mt. Shasta sky park. I hope they serve better coffee there because what they served ...sucked read more

We were passing through McCloud and I check on Yelp where to have lunch. Bogey's Cafe was one of the top choices. Their website says they are open but they are actually closed. Not a single person in the area. read more

In McCloud, businesses close on different days of the week, so it can be difficult to get a meal on certain days. That was the case on a wednesday that we were there. Fortunately, someone at the Candy Shop in the McCloud Mercantile told us about this cafe in the McCloud Golf Course. 4/5: Mozzarella Sticks - really good 4/5: French Fries - they have a great crispy coating 3/5: Hot Pastrami Sandwich - Pretty good and a big serving. It has grilled onions on it and comes with those great fries. 3/5: Cheeseburger - nice bun. The burger patty was a little lost in this though. 2/5: Fish and Chips - Sadly, more batter than fish 1/5: Boneless Wings - These are chicken balls... not wings. Not for me. My daughter in law got the broccoli salad. She really liked it, but I didn't taste it myself. read more

This place is a must if you are looking for a great meal, and the scenery isn't bad either. Service was great and the ambiance was good. Reasonably priced food and they serve breakfast also. We ate there on a Friday night and I will definitely be returning here as soon as i can. Bogey's Cafe located at the McCloud Golf course with awesome style and a view both inside or deck seating overlooking the greens complete with clean doggie bowls of mountain water for your fur babies on the deck. The menu is fresh and exciting with daily special. Service top notch and small town friendly. The portions are incredible and the food more than outstanding, superb. It's a must here in McCloud. A great find! After driving around MCCloud and finding everyplace closed, we found Bogey's Cafe down the road. My friend and I ordered breakfast and what a treat. The food was absolutely delicious. How could we have not known of this place before. We sat outside on the deck on a beautiful Thursday morning. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. My omelet was outstanding and my friends breakfast (bacon and eggs) just as good. Can't go wrong here. read more

I have been a frequent flier at this cafe. Everything has been excellent. The salads are my favorite. Especially the classics COB. Oooo and the shrimp. Good burger. There is outdoor seating if you want a view of beautiful hills. read more
