Eye-catching is the first word to describe this food joint! Despite a bustling courtyard, we found a nice street-side high table to sit at. We also started salivating at the sight of the photographed food art posters gracing the light posts. We ordered the Don't Go Bacon My Heart burger with fries. But this was a difficult decision with other cleverly-named items such as The OG burger or The Smokeshow. The shoestring fries were made from real potatoes- perfectly fried & seasoned! Our burger was made with the freshest ingredients- from the red onion slices and tomato, to the lettuce. Drizzle is one of those places you never forget and will always stop by when you visit Mt Shasta. The food is all made fresh, and it's made with lots of love. It's an amazing spot in the downtown area, it's all Outdoor seating , open space, artistic flair all around you. Amazing promotion work done on every post. Honestly yall did a wonderful job creating a vibe. There is no indoor seating so if it's cold dress warm. Service was fantastic, the team working was amazing with taking our orders, suggestions, small talk etc. you can tell they have a rhythm. The burritos were amazing both too big , not too small but wow they were packed with flavor. The early bird was light , delicious and the sauce was perfect. I got the mountain climber and I love pastrami so I was really stoked. The pastrami was tender, not over salty, had amazing flavor and they crisped the edges which made it that much more amazing. Usually pastrami feels heavy after and that was not the case. I ended up getting one of their peanut butter cookies and had it with my Mexican Mocha ... I have to tip my hat to you because there is a place called better buzz and they have a mocha de Mexico and your Mexican mocha rivals theirs .. my wife got the Peanut butter latte and you could just not go wrong with your choices here. Drizzle I will be a stop every time we venture out this way, some places use sauces to overtake their food but Drizzle does not . Their sauce and fresh ingredients complement one another. You could take out just the pastrami or hash browns and have them on their own and they are seasoned well. Me and my wife love to cook and one day would love to open up a little spot that has this kind of flair in their food. The sauce and toppings were on point and everything together just worked. The star of the show, however, were the Hot Mess fries. Crispy fries topped with tender smoked chicken , cheese, bacon, and the most amazing buttermilk ranch. So good. They have a nice selection of beers on draft as well. Fans of Yak Shak, fear not! Drizzle is merely a rebrand of the beloved burger and coffee shop in Mt Shasta. This place serves some of the best burgers I've ever had. My go to is the Fresh AF, which features a lovely jalapeño aolli and plenty of cilantro with crispy onions and a hint of brown sugar. I recommend upgrading to their fries. I almost always get a bowl of soul or chai as a drink to go. The view of Mt Shasta are incredible and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff are friendly. We just tried the What's Shakin' Bacon breakfast burrito and are waiting for the lunch menu to open so we can try the burgers. Leaving this review a bit early (will update later) to get a free cookie LOL The breakfast burrito was delicious! My partner and I don't like cheese so we ordered it without, which I think messed with the balance of flavors a bit (made it too salty/saucy), but I think this would be perfect for people who like cheese! We still loved it too, and I really like that they use hash browns instead of rice cus the crunch/crust of the hash browns add some great texture and flavor. This is definitely the spot to go to for an enjoyable outdoor lunch in Mount Shasta. They have a nice patio with lots of covered areas to sit that our dog friendly. The music is good and the vibe is relaxed. They have a really unique menu with lots of delicious options and the presentation on the food is pretty good. We tried the Double Trouble and the Hot Mess Fries. My husband liked the Double trouble better than I did because I'm not really a fan of spring mix on hamburgers, but it was pretty much on everything on the menu but I enjoyed the hot mess Fries. The fries were a bit limp themselves, but the smoky taste of the chicken and the savory cheese really made them. I think their homemade chips were my favorite though. We'll be back to try more of their interesting flavor combinations soon. read more

Came back up to Shasta a month later. And had to come back to drizzle. We all had breakfast burritos, the shake and bacon, it was the most popular among us. Walk into a fun environment, friendly inviting staff with a great menu. Both the coffee and the are enough to satisfy anybody. Not too much seating inside so prepared to sit outside. I like the dark chocolate mocha, and others got the mudslide, and my daughter got the butter toffee latte which she also enjoyed. I can't see that I enjoy them passing off of a 3% charge for credit cards. read more

Stumbled apon this burger spot in DT Shasta. Mostly outdoor seating, plenty of space outside. Couple of bar stools inside for maybe a party of 2-3. Lots of options for burgers, salads and more. They were part of "Yaks on 5" but no longer affiliate with them. We ordered the Fresh AF burger and it had a bunch of cilantro which was a nice touch. We upgraded to fries- very crisp and crunchy- a little too crisp for our liking but overall flavor was great. Burger was yummy and saucy- my boyfriend and I rate it a 3.8/5 - the patty could be a bit thicker for a $18 burger; only thing we would say was a con. But overall- good experience. I was driving back to California from Washington and was on the last stretch of my trip when I decided to go into downtown Mt. Shasta to grab a late lunch/early dinner. I wanted something quick and my Chat app recommended a couple of places, one of which was Drizzle. When I got off I5 it was a short drive into town and Drizzle was one of the first few places I came upon, so the location was convenient to get on and off the freeway easily. The restaurant only has outside seating, which was fine. It was a little cold out, but still tolerable. I didn't notice heating lamps, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. If there are, they just weren't on. It looks almost like a little house from the outside and there is a large, shared patio area with a lot of tables (both high tops and lower tables). The inside is definitely cramped. There were three other people inside when I walked in and that already took up a large portion of the inside area. Nonetheless, it was clean and the young man taking orders was so friendly and sweet. Loved him! He was super personable and he engaged everyone in conversation. I ordered the Take Your Cloves Off burger because I love garlic and I was traveling alone, so why not. I also grabbed a local beer. I can't remember which one, but that was good too. I sat outside and waited for my order to be called. The only thing I will say about that process is that the food is left with the one person taking the orders, so if they are in the middle of taking orders from someone your food will sit while you wait for them to finish with one customer to get back to you and hand you your order. So, when I was handed my order the fries were already cooking down quite a bit. The burger was big and they give you a ton of fries. I also had opted for the garlic fries. Might as well do a double whammy on the garlic. Although, I will say that both the burger and fries were really light on the garlic. In fact, the burger tasted like there wasn't any garlic at all. Thankfully, the burger was still delicious, so I wasn't too bummed about the lack of garlic on it. The ingredients were fresh, they put a ton of arugula (or rocket) on your burger, which I could have done with less of. I took a large portion of that off. The burger wasn't overcooked, which was perfect. They flavors were great and I probably could have stuffed that whole thing down but thankfully I had restraint and only at half. Otherwise I would have been super uncomfortable. The fries were nice and crispy too. The outside area was pleasant and the town is really cute. Plus, the view of the mountain is awesome, so it was a really good experience. I ended up reheating my burger the next day (toasting the bun separately and putting the patty in a frying pan) and it was still delicious. I will definitely stop off here again if I am passing through the area. The patio was also dog friendly for those of you that travel with your dog. I only wish that we had a Drizzle in my area because I would definitely be a regular...or maybe it's a good thing we don't. lol This spot is worth checking out. read more

My wife and I were regulars at "Yaks" before it became "Drizzle". On Sunday July 19 My wife ordered the cranberry paradise salad and I ordered the Double Trouble. The experience we shared to these dishes can only be described as disastrous. The salads chicken was not good. It tasted as if it had been left in the sun too long. And my burger had no pastrami and was drenched in BBQ sauce to the point where tasting anything else was impossible. We will NOT be going back. My advice to management is that they go back to sewer maintenance. read more

The fries are already seasoned well, but adding the ranch/aioli on top made it perfect. Tried my wife's "Freash AF" burger and could not believe that I was eating a "hamburger." The flavor was surprisingly sweet with heat. Service was great, but took me a minute to realize where the order is delivered. We stopped here on our way to Washington. It started out with anticipation but the wait was over 30 minutes. When my hubby brought the food to the car we realized we had one order with a burnt bun and the other order was children's burger. I went back and the girl who took the order was excellent in handling the situation. For starters she took responsibility and was very apologetic, put in the correct order immediately and offered cookies and drinks to make up for the mistake. Ok... I would say run and do not walk. If you're hungry, this would be the place to go. I just had some weird name burger. It had a lot to do with like bacon meats, cheese, that meats, onion straws that decides to bring along salad on a date and then decides well. What the hell let's grab a couple of hamburger patties and put it on a bun!!! ranch, dear God, they drizzled it with ranch. I had no clue and my only complaint would be that the guy at the window should've told me you're really not gonna need extra ranch. We visited Mount Shasta for four days and I think we ate here three times. They have AMAZING burgers and are able to cater to vegans and vegetarians, which is awesome. If you stop here, make sure you try one of their cookies...the breakfast cookie is off the charts! I go to bed every night praying they put one of these in the Phoenix metro area.
