Stopped here for a quick bite and was not disappointed. The breakfast burrito was big and delicious. They did not skimp out on the bacon at all. As you can see the food was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. The coffee was also very good! The vibe is really fun here and there are plenty of tables. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. read more

Tried Drizzle for the first time and overall, I really enjoyed it! I got a toffee nut latte -- a bit too sweet for me personally, but I can definitely see how others would love it. For food, I swapped in the vegan patty on the OG burger, and it was excellent -- tasted fresh, not frozen. My three meat-eater friends all loved their burgers, but honestly, the thing we all kept raving about was the sauces. The homemade ranch and lime aioli were next level. Bonus points for the great view of Mt. Shasta from our table -- made the meal even better. read more

My wife and I were regulars at "Yaks" before it became "Drizzle". On Sunday July 19 My wife ordered the cranberry paradise salad and I ordered the Double Trouble. The experience we shared to these dishes can only be described as disastrous. The salads chicken was not good. It tasted as if it had been left in the sun too long. And my burger had no pastrami and was drenched in BBQ sauce to the point where tasting anything else was impossible. We will NOT be going back. My advice to management is that they go back to sewer maintenance. read more

Fun spot in Mt Shasta. There's outdoor seating only but it's a pretty spacious and well shaded patio. The menu's focus is burgers but there's also a selection of bowls and other sandwiches. I got the southwest bowl which is vegetarian with rice, beans, kale and their chipotle sauce. A little spicy but not overly so. My boyfriend got some kind of chicken sandwich that comes with bacon which he asked to leave off and they were able to accommodate. The sandwich was super messy and a little hard to eat but still good. I guess the name says it all! They also have some lattes and baked goods on offer. Pretty chill spot matching the Mt Shasta vibes read more

Used to be Yak's but I'm loving the rebrand! Loved coming here to have breakfast, and the bonus was you could see Mt. Shasta from my seat in their outdoor patio! Just an fyi, breakfast is only served until 11 am so if you're looking to come for their breakfast burrito or sandwiches (which is honestly a must) then make sure you come before then! - The Awakening breakfast sandwich: sooo good, has a nice kick from the jalapeño cheddar bun, and the chipotle aioli. But it didn't feel too heavy which was surprising, and they were very generous with the sauce. Def my favorite. - What's Shakin' Bacon breakfast burrito: a hearty meal, with a nice balance of bacon, eggs, and hash browns. There was bacon in every bite I took! - Grizzly Beary Smoothie: sweet and refreshing after a long weekend of hiking. Also was good to calm down the spicy kick from the chipotle aioli. - Peanut Butter Latte: I asked for less sweet and the latte ended up being perfect! Great peanut butter aftertaste but not sooo overwhelming that it's too much. Would definitely come back next time I visit Shasta area :) read more

I used to come here when it was Yaks, year after year. Generally at lunch but sometimes early morning. All I can say is this morning I went to get coffee because it was closer than the place I normally go. I thought why not, let's give it a try. First, the music is so loud that no one can hear anybody. I'm not certain whether that's designed to discourage connection, but it certainly works. 7 in the morning my ears and entire body feel assaulted by loud percussive noise. Then the cook decided to slam a drum beat out in the kitchen. I walked in and 3, 3 people behind the counter, not waiting on anybody, chose not to greet me. Took some time for the gal at the register to finally look up and take my order which I had to repeat because nobody could hear anybody. Won't be going back, at least in the morning. That's not the way I want to wake up. Coffee was good though! Of course by that time I was fully awake, feeling concussed, and ready for a calming tea instead. read more

I read on Yelp that some people experienced rude baristas, so I anticipated exhausted, jaded servers when we grabbed coffee that late afternoon. The service was quite lovely, actually. Every time we visited the establishment, there was a line. Long lines do not deter me, as it only reinforces that there is a greater chance the product has been vetted as highly desirable. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake bun and the matcha strawberry beverage. Since it was later in the day, the bread in the bun was not as soft. I saw that they have an open kitchen and make everything in-house. The strawberry cheesecake bun had thick cheesecake frosting on top and a sliced strawberry. I dipped the sliced hard bun bread into the frosting and found this a worthy solution to distract from the stiffness. The matcha strawberry drink was refreshing and effective in waking me up. The next day, we arrived early and saw fresh cinnamon buns taken out of the oven. We ordered this, and I tried the Island Boi drink. The cinnamon bun was perfectly hot, soft, and delicious. I'm sure if we arrived earlier the previous day, the strawberry cheesecake bun would've been too. I found the Island Boi drink adequate. All the baristas were lovely, friendly, and thoughtful. Stopped for lunch on the way back home from crows landing. Cool little spot in the middle of mt Shasta. Menu seems to be mainly bowls and sandwiches/burgers but honestly that's fine as the options are aplenty. Got the Fresh AF burger with fries. It's a cilantro/lime/onion topped burger with amazing creamy sauce. Delicious burger but a little messy for better or worse. Love a messy burger just feel like a spectacle in public. Patty was meaty, cooked well but still juicy and tender. Fries were great; cross between shoestring and hand cuts. Best of both worlds! Their ketchup is unique, sweet spicy tangy I guess the best I could describe? They're very proud of their house made sauces and they delivered. Street parking. 1pm on a random Monday and town was a little busy so I could see it being scarce depending on the day. Draft beer selection was nice to have, but it was mostly the standard fare. Got a boneyard IPA and hit the spot. It's counter service and the employee was super friendly and helpful. They give you your "order number" which alone is worthy the trip. What's not great? Not a lot honestly. One bathroom only. Outdoor patio seating with some sun cover. Was comfortable when we went but that could be unpleasant depending when you go. As mentioned prior I could see street parking being a deterrent depending on season/day. First time here but it'll be a stop for us on our trips to California and back. read more

I frequent this coffee shop each business day to work on my doctoral homework and small business administration. I've been a regular on and off since 2012. I absolutely love this place!!! Alyssa (the owner) greets me with a warm smile each and every morning, as do Courtney and Elijah. It feels like a community living room--a place to make business and personal connections in this isolated rural mountain town. This place has everything I need--WiFi, an epic view of the mountain from my 'regular' spot, affordable caffeine and food so I can stay and work from about 9am-1pm most business days. I used to have an office space downtown, but working here is a much better deal--networking, community, fuel--this place is outstanding and I can't say enough!! My favorite things: Cappuccino, Banana Bread, Giving Bowl, Bowl of Soul, Cranberry Paradise Salad, Panini, Keegan the Vegan, and Blueberry Bagel w/Cream Cheese. Not to mention, this place has a subtle undercurrent of faith that I feel connected to amongst all the spiritual seeking in this town. Vegan/Veggie friendly, but down-to-earth. This is SUCH a better vibe and deal than the other spots in town. I highly recommend--and maybe I'll see you when you stop in! read more

I am writing to let other people with diabetes know that this establishment has no interest in helping those of us who have a potentially devastating and incurable disease enjoy a little sweetnes in their coffee with sugar free syrup. I have been there twice and their postion is they can't be bothered. And this morning, some woman who seemed to be the boss, although i don't know this for sure, after i told her that I was legally disabled by diabetes interrupted me while i was speaking and asked what did it have to do with them. While these people are not legally guilty of discrimination against the disabled, they certainly seemed to be morally guilty of indifference to other people's challenges. In addition, they seem to not be interested in making even a token attempt at accomodation. I would suggest to people who have diabetes or those who care about them that they take their money to other coffee places that have sympathy for the disabled. read more

Soooo... first let me say that the staff is wonderful. Very friendly and efficient. This is the first time I've ordered food there since it went from Yaks to Drizzle. I ordered a Chipotle bowl to go, which you'd expect would have a decent amount of cabbage and kale, like it states on the menu. It did have about 3 pieces of kale (maybe they were running low?) and a sparse amount of cabbage... but most definitely not enough to qualify as a "bowl" which is supposed to be a healthier alternative. And then there was the chicken... mostly dark meat, and not very good... again, what's up? A $15 "bowl" should at least have chicken breast meat. I did try to add some lettuce and more greens once I was home, but I ended up throwing most of it away. I'll be very hesitant to ever order another bowl there. Had I been at the spot I would have asked for my money back. C'mon guys, you can do better. read more

This review comes after our 2nd visit within 4 days- could not recommend this place anymore! We typically stop in Mt. Shasta on our way to & from Mt. Bachelor to charge our car & grab coffee and a bite to eat. I'm vegan & finding options in the area is not the easiest & Drizzle was 10/10 and had multiple solid vegan options! I got the vegan OG burger both times- the veggie patty they use is so good it almost gives a 'chicken' patty vibe, produce is super fresh & you can tell their sauces are homemade- the bbq was great! The cherry on top was the crispy onion strings on the burger. My boyfriend had the regular OG and devoured his too. The MVP- my coconut cream oat milk latte- out of this world. I am picky picky with espresso and syrups and I'm already thinking about the next time we'll be in the area so I can grab another coffee. Thanks Drizzle, we'll be back! read more

I dropped in for lunch and decided to try the Jalapeno Bacon burger ($19) and a standard adult cheese burger ($13). My experience was somewhat mixed. Unfortunately, the buns used for both burgers were not as fresh as I'd hoped, which did detract from the overall enjoyment. The burgers, while visually appealing, fell short in taste. They seemed a bit undercooked and lacked the seasoning I was expecting. Additionally, the fact that the burger comes with kettle chips and fries is available for an extra $2-$4 felt like an unnecessary upsell. On a more positive note, we also ordered a couple of lattes, both of which were excellent and a highlight of our meal. In total, our bill for 2 coffees, 2 burgers, and including the tip, amounted to $51. While I might consider returning for the coffee, the burgers were a letdown and wouldn't be my reason for revisiting. read more

I recently visited this burger place, and unfortunately, I don't understand the rave reviews. I ordered the jalapeño bacon burger, while my wife chose the chipotle chicken sandwich. Sadly, both sandwiches fell flat. They tasted like below-average burgers overloaded with toppings that overshadowed the flavor of the meat. The burgers were large, greasy messes, and we found them to be overpriced; we spent over $50 on two burgers and fries, and we only managed to eat about a quarter of our meals. Additionally, the ambiance left much to be desired for families. There was limited seating, and the infant seats were wobbly, dirty, and had broken straps, which was concerning. To top it off, the music was excessively loud, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. Perhaps it was just an off day, but we certainly won't be returning. read more

I sampled the burgers at both Yaks on The 5 (Dunsmuir) and its sister location Yaks Shack (Mt. Shasta). They are both excellently managed by the owners of the Yaks Company Burgers. I particularly enjoyed the Cilantro Bomb and Garlic Obsession, among others. My first taste of these renowned burgers was at Yaks on The 5 in the Historic District of Dunsmuir on Historic US Route Highway 99 and Mt. Shasta Boulevard is also on the US Route 99. One of the highlights of these establishments is the amusing order name tags. Personally, I prefer the original Yaks on The 5 for its larger and more spacious seating areas. It can get quite busy on certain days, but overall, if you're looking for a satisfying meal, I recommend visiting these two locations. I will definately returning to either location in the future. read more

If you're looking for a burger spot that's more than just great food, this is the place. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection--whether you go classic or try one of their creative options, you can't go wrong. What really sets them apart, though, is the kindness and care from the staff. Everyone here makes you feel welcome, and it's clear they put thought into creating an environment where all kinds of people feel comfortable. I also love that they have options for different diets and preferences--vegetarian and gluten-free included--without sacrificing taste. It makes it easy to bring friends and family knowing there's something for everyone. Best food, vibe and staff :) Kids loved it and vegan options for those who need. read more

This place was a major disappointment and definitely not worth the visit. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the experience would be poor. The space itself is incredibly small and cramped, making it feel uncomfortable and chaotic. We were stuck waiting in an agonizingly long line that seemed to take forever to move. To make matters worse, the service is truly bad. They had the breakfast menu prominently displayed, leading us to believe it was available; however, after waiting in that endless line, the cashier abruptly informed us that breakfast service had ended at 11:30 am. Between the lack of space, the terrible service, and the misleading information, I cannot recommend this place at all. read more

First time in Mount Shasta and Drizzle was definitely a pleasant surprise. I had the BBQ Chicken Sandwich with regular fries and it did not disappoint. Great flavor all around. Perfect amount of salt on fries, fresh greens on the sandwich and the main star would definitely be the BBQ sauce on the chicken. To pair, I had what was recommended to me, the Mudslide, a chocolate and peanut butter coffee which can be ordered either hot or iced. I chose the latter. As a self proclaimed coffee aficionado, It was strong enough to still be coffee and wasn't overly sweet; just enough to fulfill my sugar tooth cravings. First time here, got the Early Bird breakfast burrito and a peanut butter latte. Everything was so delicious! I love how they grill the wrap, and their homemade sauce is awesome. The PB latte was sooo good, I'm glad I tried something new! The service was also awesome; Alexis at the front was super nice and helpful. The vibe of this place is also very fun, with the cool wall art and good music. Plenty of outdoor seating, which was great for us with our dog. I definitely recommend it if you're passing through Mt. Shasta, or if you're a local who hasn't given it a try yet! read more

Drizzle in Mt. Shasta delivers a standout casual dining experience, and our meal there was nothing short of exceptional. The "OG Burger" was HELLA good--juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with a satisfying blend of classic and bold flavors that hit every craving. The "Asiago Salad" impressed us with its crisp, vibrant greens and a tangy kick from the cheese that made it anything but ordinary. And don't even get us started on the sauces--they're so good, we couldn't leave without grabbing some to take home. Drizzle nails the details and leaves you wanting more. read more

This burger place is an absolute win from start to finish. The patties are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right every time. The buns are fresh and hold everything together without falling apart, and the toppings taste crisp and flavorful. Their fries are golden, crispy, and addictive, especially paired with their signature sauces. The staff is warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're craving a classic cheeseburger or something creative, this spot delivers every single time--definitely worth a visit. read more

Great service and a charming little shop! The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel personal. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The shop itself is cozy, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. I appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. When JJ and I were deciding somewhere to stop along the road and replenish ourselves with nutrients, you must understand, we were vanquished by the days of road tripping, and weary with the 6 hour drive that lay ahead past Mount Shasta. But like a crystal oasis in the Sahara desert, Drizzle was beyond fulfilling, and revitalized us back to the necessary energy we needed to finish out the day of driving. Not to mention, the fries were among some of the best I have had. A wonderful experience. read more

Hands down one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. The patty was perfectly juicy and seasoned, the cheese was melted just right, and every bite tasted fresh and intentional. The bun held everything together without getting soggy, and the balance of flavors was spot on -- rich, savory, and insanely satisfying. You can tell real care goes into this burger. If you're craving a classic cheeseburger done right, this is the one to get. I'm already thinking about my next visit. read more

The OG Burger at Drizzle in Mt. Shasta is a standout classic that lives up to the hype--juicy, fresh beef patty with crisp toppings and a flavorful house sauce that makes it messy in the best way. It's often praised for its quality and taste, even accommodating swaps like vegan patties without losing appeal, making it a must-try for burger lovers passing through the area. Overall, it's delicious and unforgettable, earning rave reviews for its bold flavors. read more
