I always order soup or chili so I can get in and out because they are notoriously slow. I had to wait for the entire other order to be completed, which backs up the cafe unnecessarily. Small, quick orders should be handled promptly to keep things flowing. I've honestly stopped going because of this problem. I simply can't gamble on which staff will be there. The experienced people get it. Still, their coffee is not good. It's substandard, as has been mentioned in several other reviews. Same with the bread. People are sick of it falling apart. Last, but not least, this is a major pet peeve of mine. If you are going to offer saltines with soup or chili, do not offer saltines that have been sitting in a box for a year, so stale you can't even chew through them. I have never received fresh/edible crackers as a side. I request chips for this reason, they are usually OK. I want to support local businesses.
