Hit this wonderful spot with my son's family the other day and was so pleased. The food was amazing and the service was top notch! The pie was delicious and perfectly cooked! Light lovely crust and generous toppings. The buffalo chicken salad was a hit with everyone. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana sandwich super gooey and satisfying. We positively loved everything about this charming little restaurant! Food was excellent, ambiance fun and service top notch! We shared a PPP pizza, a green salad (HUGE!) and a bottle of red wine! It was all delicious! The P (pulled pork), P (pineapple) and P (peppers) pizza was one of the very best pizzas we've ever had (and we've been to Italy several times!) it is not a tomato based sauce, they make the sauce with pineapple juice, smoked jalapeño and olive oil, then top it with smoked pulled pork, pineapple chunks and mozzarella! Simply delish! We loved visiting with the woman we presume was the owner (sorry, we didn't get her name). This is a must try if you're in the area! Smoked Tomato Pie! You big hidden treasure in a little town. This place has personality and live music. With walls covered with famous faces of yesterday, STP gives you a cozy concert, tiny desk feel! As for the food, that chicken plate is big enough for two to three people. They give you half the chicken! Seriously! 20 bucks! That's a steal coming from the expensive Bay Area. My students loved the pizza and the fresh dough. It was great to eat dinner with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, and Bob Marley. The servers are regular down-to-earth everyday people! We did have to wait a while for our drinks, but he felt so bad that he gave us a cannoli on the house! THE COST $42.14 total including tax/tip for 1 pizza, 2 drinks. * PPP (Pork, Pineapple, Peppers) - 4 stars. Nice play on a hawaiian. In fact, I'm not usually impressed with pineapple pizzas, but I really liked this one! Meat was juicy and flavorful. We didn't notice any peppers. * Three Cheese Pizza - I didn't try it, but the cheese was stretchy and melty, and my kids gobbled this down. * Chocolate Pistachio Cannoli - 3.5 stars. Tasty! Passing through Yreka after a ski trip to Mt Shasta and we found this gem. Wonderful music immediately sets a relaxing vibe, great aroma of spicy pizza sauce greets you as you walk in, and you just know it's going to be a cut above. Good beer and wine selection to start, a HUGE salad we asked to share arrived heaping and flavorful on two large plates. The sausage and mushroom pizza close behind was loaded with generous amounts of toppings and we fought over the last piece. Kind attentive service and delish meal. Live music scheduled regularly. What a delightful surprise! On our way up from the Bay area to visit our daughter in Eugene, Oregon we stopped for the evening in Yreka. A search on Yelp for dinner brought us here, and I have to say I was pretty surprised at how great the pizza was! The people are super friendly, the venue is delightfully decorated with drawings of celebrities, and the pizza - well we were pleasantly surprised. The sauce was just perfect - combination of sweetness and spice that really made the pizza. It wasn't too cheesy and it really hit the spot that evening. We also split a Caesar salad - the dressing and croutons were both homemade and just delicious too! My only complaint is that it wasn't crispy enough for me, next time I'll ask for well done ;) Although I never considered Yreka as a hot spot for pizza or Italian food, I'm going to stop here again next time we're on the road! read more

First of it's a good place to go off the motorway/freeway/autobahn to get some food other than the big chains. The pies are good - tbh not the best pizza I'll ever have - but it ranks higher than any highway food. I love that you make your own - even half and half on one pie. Since the pies are big once, you can easily share. The pizza comes fresh end hot of the oven and the friendly server drops it off at your table. Overall the team that works there is very friendly and smiles all the way. You order and pay at the counter right after the entrance and then you look for a table inside the very stylish country-inspired and decorated restaurant. They even have a small stage for live music. Here is the highlight of my meal I ordered the mandarin chicken salad. That was the burner - juicy big fresh mandarin slices in a higher bed of greens perfectly mixed with croutons and dressing. I recommend the restaurant for sure - one start taken away since I thought the pizza and the salad chicken could have a lot more flavor and refined seasoning- especially since the chicken was a good quality meat. read more

We stopped by on a road trip after a recommendation from the owner of Nature's Kitchen who is no longer serving lunch. The pizza was delicious with a unique sauce but still familiar enough that my kids loved it. I had the pulled chicken salad and it was both enormous and delicious, the flavors were well balanced and everything was fresh. It was clearly a chef created dish rather than random ingredients thrown together and some dressing thrown at it. My husband had the BLT and he enjoyed that as well. The coleslaw wasn't anyone's favorite but you don't loose a star for having different taste in coleslaw than me. My wife had the vegetable pizza made vegetarian and I had the half chicken. We shared the pizza and I augmented mine with the chicken. Thin crust with a fluffy crust. The dipping sauces were just amazing! A house made bbq sauce and this tasty vinegar dip that made me smile. Service form this nice young man was perfect. He really tried to push the cannolis but my fitness app told me I was fat the day before:) This is definitely a stop worth putting on the list. Fast, friendly and most importantly delicious food. I'm giving this a higher rating than I normally would.. mainly because this is a pizza spot. So I want to review it mainly as a pizza spot. When it comes to the food, I would say stick with the pizza and don't stray away from that. The pizza was delicious!! One call out to those that are gluten AND dairy sensitive though, you won't be able to enjoy the pizza here, because the GF crust has cheese in it. Since I have these sensitivities, I opted for the pulled pork plate and the smoked half chicken. Both of these I would give a 2/5 rating. They were both incredibly dry, and all of the sides that came with the pulled pork were not very appetizing (potatoes, slaw, dinner roll). The chicken was very dry and almost CRUMBLED in your mouth. We came an hour before closing, so it might factor into this a bit, but I'm driving from Napa Valley to Seattle right now.. so there's almost no chance I'll be able to give this place another try. The service was good, nothing really to complain about in that department. Come for the pizza, stay for the pizza, leave after consuming said pizza... and beer. read more
