    Natalee noodles

The service was perfect! Friendly and attentive. The meal came quick and piping hot. I tried the Natalee noodles because it's named after the restaurant, so it must be a signature dish. Basically, it's their version of Pad Thai. It was really good and fresh. The peanut sauce had a strong coconut flavor, much stronger than I'm used to, but it was delicious. It was also really sweet which I'm not used to as well but again, delicious. If you like a good, sweet Pad Thai, this is the place to go!

Excellent all around! We were visiting for business and received a referral to this restaurant. The dining room was very well kept. The decor was nice and everything was very clean. We were greeted and seated right away. The seating was nice as well. We love spring rolls and ordered them. They came out very fast. They were so good! They also serve many sauces on the plate as well as 4 more on the table. My husband ordered the Pad Thai, I ordered the orange chicken, and our daughter ordered the chicken chow mein. I'm not over exaggerating when I tell you that the orange chicken was so delicious with a lightly breaded and fried crispy outside. Their ingredients are top notch. All of our dishes had very large helpings. There was enough on each of our plates left over for another meal. The service was also impeccable and our drinks never were empty. The food also came right out and I think we may have been in and out in 30 minutes, fed, and on our way back to the hotel. My husband and I agree this might be one of the best Thai places we have ever been to. This wonderful food, and the helpings are priced great for a dinner out. We are willing to pay more for better ingredients. Visit this place if you're passing through. It seems like the locals already know it's a gem.

Really good Thai food, Flavor is on point, staff is attentive, ambience is nice, pictures of Thailand and vibrant colors. I ordered the grilled salmon with mango curry, and it was delicious. See pic.

Locals rave about the food. Service is good and atmosphere is nice. Just wish the takeout menu had prices.

The food did not disappoint. Vegan options in Yreka! - Fresh rolls with peanut sauce not pictured. Check them out!

Delicious food, friendly and wonderfully fast service. Make sure you stop here to try the Thai food.

Plus they had a good beer selection.

We ordered the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, drunken noodles, and the fish with tomato sauce served with jasmine rice. The first dish, the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, was a mixed experience. The sticky rice was soft and delicious, just like homemade. However, the pork belly didn't seem very fresh. It had an unpleasant smell, almost like the meat was starting to spoil. Next were the drunken noodles. The flat noodles were rubbery and tasted like they had been left out too long and had dried out. The zucchini was bitter, and the only part of the dish that tasted good was the carrot. The last dish was the fish with tomato sauce and jasmine rice. The jasmine rice had a slight brown tint instead of the bright white color you would expect from freshly cooked rice. It looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for far too long. On a positive note, the fish itself was the best part of the entire meal. It was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, the outstanding customer service wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing food quality. Based on this experience, I probably won't be returning.

We ordered the yellow curry, a noodle dish, pho, and the coconut custard for dessert. Every single dish was delicious. As an added bonus, the view from the window is absolutely stunning, with Mount Shasta in all its glory. If you're driving along I-5, this is a fantastic stop in Weed, CA. We ordered the pad Thai, yellow chicken curry, papaya salad, and an avocado smoothie. I saw from pics from other reviewers and it seems they just skipped other ingredients and brought out a plain dish of papaya salad with a side of cabbage, no herbs or anything else. The pad Thai was on the sweet side and was just ok. The curry lacked flavor and appeared to be watered down. The smoothie was more liquid, expected to be thicker. Total price for three dish and smoothie, almost $80 and some change. So very pricey for amount of food provided and lack of taste.

GPS was programmed for a different place but we ended up here. At first glance there's not much to look inside the restaurant. At the time, the place was empty. We were the only customers. It would be a three star rating just by looking. You have to question, is this a restaurant and is it open? We were greeted by the owner/chef/server/greeter! A one man operation. Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable chef. A cool dude. I give this place a five star because of the food and the one man staff. The BBQ was spot on delicious. The Pork Spareribs (1 rack) with 2 rice plate (for two people) was juicy and full of flavorful smoke and Thai influences. The Three Smoked Meat rice plate was also delicious. The smoking and Bbq are done using wood. No charcoal or gas. You can really taste the natural wood smoke flavor in every bite. I'm glad we found Asian American BBQ by accident, I'm also glade it was not his usual rush hour time when we arrived! This place is a classic cliche phrase "don't judge a book by its cover." If ever we are back in Weed, CA, we're definitely be back!
