Ordered a quarter pounder with cheese value meal with a large coke and fries- get it home - one sorry looking regular patty on a quarter pounder bun and the fries don't even fill the container. I drive all the way back and the manager tells me well why did it take you so long to come back it's been almost an hour! I had to drive home discover the error and then drive back plus the wait time from when i placed the order. Well she says we'll replace it this time. It's like whoa wait a minute did you even look at the burger? Yes it looked fine. No it isn't fine. Finally she does open it up and look at it - never apologizes - tells the cook - it's a regular patty - he takes it throws it away and they make a new one. This McDonald's sucks. It's not often that I do go to a McDonald's but every time I come to this one the managers are lazy and unaccomodating. They ALWAYS mess up my orders and have such attitude when you tell them it's wrong. When the staff go "talk to their manager" the manager sends them back to tell you there's nothing they can do. I stopped in today to order 2 coffees and a shake (not even any food items) and it still took us 20 minutes just to get those 3 items. When we got one of the coffees it was filled 3/4 of the way up the cup. So we told one of the girls working that the coffee was supposed to be a large and she said they would fix it. When she took it to the girl working the drink/coffee station, she said "the coffee's wrong" and the other girl putting the orders together said "i know, I saw it." So basically, she knew the coffee was not full but sent it out to the customer (me) anyway. So it's wise to always check your orders because some people just don't care that you're spending your money on their product(s). read more

I ordered two filet o fishes from this location. I opened the first box and noticed the cheese to the sandwich was not in the sandwich at all and not melted either. I'm pretty sure this sandwich is $3.79, that's basically $4 to have my sandwich look like someone just forgot about the cheese in the sandwich and throw it in there.. my second filet o fish looked okay, once I opened it up to check if I even had cheese there was barely any cheese. Lady with poorly dyed red hair and cursive tattoo on forearm is really unintelligent and wasted a lot of my time with a problem she couldn't solve. They messed up my order then spent a really long time trying to understand that they gave me the wrong order, and she actually wanted me to pay extra for something that should've been less expensive just because she doesn't know basic math. I often go to this location although there are closer. I find it's the most easy to navigate around in traffic. The food is warm but never really hot. The service is nothing to rave about. It is more about how fast they can give you what you wanted and get you out of there. There is no personal touches to make you want to return, but maybe they want to change our minds about fast food and don't want you to come back. Yeah, I know, 4 stars... wth right? The food isn't the best and obviously really shouldn't even be in your system, but after the last incident regarding my happy meal toy, things are wayyyy better. Customer service here is crazy wonderful compared to other McD chains. After my initial complaint to that branch and Corporate offices in San Diego, I received an unprecedented response and it was great. Manager Luz was the first person to call me and apologize for the mistake and offered to make it up to me and that was unbelievable. Then the corporate offices called and sent me 2 letters to apologize plus vouchers for free meals, which was also unbelievable. Then, when I actually had time to take on Luz's offer, Manager April was able to fulfill my freebie plus another Pokémon toy to make up for the Batman mistake. I really wasn't expecting much, maybe an automated message or something, and what I got seems rare and perhaps a bit much for a local McD's, but I'm not complaining. It was a great experience and I will go back (especially I'm all for their fatty breakfast!) haha Also, beware, if you do complain and they investigate, they look at ALL of the cameras and your face is recorded through drive-thru and lobby areas. It's quite creepy, the first thing Manager Luz said on the phone was, "Yeah, I was watching you and saw you got out of the car too...." CREEEEPYYYY!!! haha Anyway, good job on customer service!! Pretty clean McDonald's. love that the dining area is open 24 hours. I was in the area the other night and needed a place to go to to finish a paper. As you might know, almost everywhere in this area closes at 10pm. Then a weird thought occurred in my mind "what if I go to mcd to get my work done ?" This place isn't a quiet library or anything, but I think it is equivalent if not better than Starbucks during its night hours when it isn't that busy. Without much customers, McDonalds becomes a lot quieter and fortunately, this one plays decent music. They also have a surge protector where the high seats are which is a huge plus . I don't think I'd mind coming back here to study during late nights. read more

The first night I was about two minutes to late, they had switched to the breakfast menu. the second night their grill wasnt working. I live in Walnut, coming in a close second to Irvine in terms of suburbia-ness, and being a stuffy "I don't eat at chain restuarants" foodie is not a very good option. So I'm Yelping the Chain-Restaurant of chain restuarants and this is a great McDonald's. The tables aren't sticky, there's no ugly, scary, plastic Ronald McDonald on a bench outside, they've only got my order wrong once (that's saying something for a McD's), and they don't kick us out when a group of 10 of us come in at 10pm, order ice creams and talk really loud for the next hour and a half. Just got back from a trip and the kids wanted food so I drove to the closes McDonald's on the way home. This place is usually quick and usually get my order right but this time I waited 30 minutes for my order, and I order my food through the drive through! When I went inside to ask what happen to my order the so called manager said my order was already cleared and she had no idea why it wasn't out. She asked some of her employees to start making my order and when she gives it to me only half of my order is ready and my drinks are nowhere to be found.
